"Well. Thanks for the money. Now, goodbye." Silas moved like a spectre, his knife flashing in the dim light. Blood splashed on the ground and Micah felt a stinging pain in his throat.

"I would've let you live, but that's just too troublesome. As they say, dead men tell no tales." Silas smiled as Micah started to cough and choke, blood seeping into his throat and windpipe due to the wound.

"I can make it end, do you want that?" Silas asked kindly, looking at the blood chilling scene with a smile. Micah was in too much pain to even respond, so Silas shrugged and waited until his twitches and struggles stopped.

"Well. Good luck." Silas wiped the blood on Micah's shirt, then looked around to ensure he didn't leave any clues. Finding none, he closed the knife and slipped it back into his pocket, deciding to dispose of it later.

He turned back to the exit and froze in shock. Standing there in the only way out of the alley was a woman in black clothes, her beautiful face smiling at the scene before her.

"Who are you?" Silas asked, reaching for the knife slowly. He had been trained in combat and throwing, so the short three meter distance wasn't much of an issue.

"I'd like to ask the same question. You're quite cruel to just kill someone like that, you know?" The woman smiled, a slight curl of her supple red lips, but that didn't put Silas at ease because she clearly wasn't normal as she could still smile and chat despite facing a murderer and a corpse.

"I don't understand what you mea-" Silas moved, the knife flashing as it flew towards the woman with deadly accuracy. The woman's eyes widened as the knife pierced her shirt and sunk into the middle of her chest.

"Being nosy isn't good, you know? It's a pity, you were really beautiful." Silas moved as the woman fell back to the ground, walking past her body after retrieving his knife and making sure his hoodie was on properly.

Silas was about to leave, his back turned away from the woman's body when the shocked expression on her face changed to a slightly amused one.

Silas felt something and turned around quickly, but he wasn't fast enough as the blade that had been in his hand vanished. He felt a sharp pain in his side and his eyes widened in disbelief.

The beautiful woman who should have been dead, or on her last breaths was standing, smiling at him. He glanced down and saw that his knife was handle deep in his side, piercing his left lung.

"You did surprise me a little kid. Since you stabbed me, I'll return the favor, okay?" The woman released the knife and stared into Silas' shocked brown eyes, her own full of amusement.

"It hurts, huh?" The woman didn't take any further action but Silas wasn't one to just roll over and die. With a shaky breath, he stepped towards the woman and tried to strike her chin with his elbow.

The woman gracefully evaded the blow, and in a follow up motion Silas couldn't keep up with, she grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the alley's exit, sending him staggering into the wall hard.

Silas steadied himself, trying to ignore the searing pain in his lung. He narrowed his eyes and moved, sending a punch towards the woman's face, trying to escape the area before he succumbed to his wound.

"You seem to be in a hurry. Why not stay and play a while?" The woman knocked his arm away, and stepped close enough that he could smell the sweet fragrance belonging to her, and then she punched him in the stomach.

"F*ck!" Silas staggered, using the wall to keep from falling. He didn't know why, but he had a suspicion that if he fell, he wouldn't be getting back up at all.

Based on how the woman moved and fought, he knew she was at least as good, if not better than him at hand to hand combat. The wound he had now stopped him from fighting at full strength, and it also made him eager to leave this place so he could find a place to examine and hopefully try and patch it up.

"Move already!" Silas growled as he held the knife in his side, using his other hand to knock the woman's hand away, he tried to knock her aside using his weight, but the woman simply held the arm he kept on the knife's handle and yanked him backwards.

Silas felt the world spin and then he fell to his knee, his blood dripping on the ground. His eyes narrowed in frustration because the police could now connect him to the murder by blood if he survived.

"Now now, getting mad isn't cute. You want to leave?" The woman's voice annoyed Silas to no end, but because he couldn't probably even best her if he was at full health, how could he do so with such a deep wound?

"What do you want?" Silas spat out, the feeling of his blood seeping into his lungs wasn't pleasant, so he decided to speak in the hopes of finding out what this woman wanted.

"So you do know how to speak properly. Well, how about you come with me? I don't think you can go back as you are now." The woman smiled sweetly but all Silas felt was annoyance and anger.

"If you hadn't been nosy, this wouldn't have happened! Fine, let's go. Any longer and I'll die." Silas didn't hesitate because although they were enemies, possibly dying here was something he didn't want to risk.

"Great! I'd say let's go, but I don't think you can move much." The woman spoke teasingly but was ignored by Silas who frowned. He couldn't leave the alley until his blood was cleaned or else he'd be tracked down by the authorities.
