"I told you to give me your money, and since you didn't obey, you'll have to suffer." Micah cracked his knuckles expecting to see Silas panic or even beg for mercy, but Silas just looked at him with an indifferent expression.
"You like to cause others pain right? How about your friend over there? Is he the reason you always bullied me for money?" Silas spoke calmly, and Micah felt that something was off with him, so he stopped a few feet away.
"If you can't do a simple thing like getting me my money, what good are you?" The other guy walked over and pushed past Micah, grabbing Silas' shirt and pushing him against the wall roughly.
"Well. There's an extra one, but who really cares?" Silas mumbled coldly, and Micah furrowed his brows but before he could speak, Silas acted. Driving his knee into the young man's gut, he grabbed the guy's head when he doubled over and slammed it into the wall next to him.
A hard thud sounded as he crumbled to the floor with his head spinning. Silas looked at him and then looked at Micah with a small smile that promised pain.
"I told you to stop many times, so don't think this is sudden or anything. Now, answer a few of my questions and you might, just might live through the next hour."
Micah felt a chill run through his body when he looked at the bleeding head of his friend and then at the calm Silas. Silas walked closer, and he decided that he could overpower him as he always did in school.
"Bad choice." Silas hummed as he grabbed Micah's outstretched hand and gripped a finger. Ducking beneath his arm, he kicked Micah's knee and threw him off balance, and in a smooth motion twisted the finger in his grip.
A hoarse scream sounded but before it could draw any attention, Silas kicked him in the back of the head, slamming his mouth shut and nearly making Micah bite into his tongue.
"You have nine fingers left. You also have ten toes, two shoulders, two arms, and two legs left. Do you want to test my patience Micah?" Silas asked as he walked back to Micah's front and looked down at him.
"Hel-!" Micah tried to scream out, but Silas was faster. Silas punched him in the throat, not enough to collapse his windpipe, but enough to stop him from yelling.
Micah fell backwards to the dirty ground clutching his throat while coughing heavily. Silas turned and looked at the other guy and seeing him lying there with blood flowing from his head, he sighed.
"Why does everyone dislike me Micah?" Silas crouched in front of Micah, grabbing his head and making him look his way. Micah wanted to struggle, but after Silas smiled at him, he shook and froze in fear.
"I don't remember much, so I'll be relying on you 'friend'." Silas spoke with mockery, ignoring the pained pants Micah let out. He had broken his finger, but Micah could still speak without any problems.
"I don't kno-" Silas gently held Micah's hand and lifted it until they both could see it. He grabbed Micah's pointing finger and smiled darkly, not even having to speak because Micah understood his intent.
"Amanda! Felix's girlfriend Amanda wanted to mess around with you but you turned her down! She told Felix you tried to rape her and then everyone found out..."

"Felix knew what really happened, but he kept it hidden and called the police. They didn't arrest you because of inconclusive evidence, but ever since then, everyone avoided you!"
"He tried to have you expelled, but since his dad couldn't expel you without a reason, he decided to have me take your money so you couldn't pay the monthly tuition."
"Wait! I know I'm quite handsome, but who'd have thought the reason was so dumb? So 'I' didn't do anything, it's just that I'm suffering for other people's actions?"
"What did I expect? A valid reason or something?" Silas shook his head and then stood up. He walked over to the other guy and knelt, pulling his hunting knife out and flicking it open.
The glint of metal in the dim light made Micah's heart race but he couldn't do anything because his body refused to obey him. Silas glanced in his direction and then turned his attention back to the guy.
"What's this guy's story? Hm?" Silas tilted his head and placed the knife point just above the young man's spine, holding it while looking Micah in the eyes.
"I owed him money and when I saw you, I told him you were an easy target. Wait, what are you doin-!?" Silas nodded and then stabbed down ruthlessly, letting the knife sink deep into the guy's neck.
"Well, that's that. He can't move nor speak anymore. Whether or not he even survives this is also a question." Silas pulled the bloody black knife free from the guy's flesh, flicking it to clean the blood from the blade.
"Those who harbor evil intentions shouldn't be shocked to be hurt or killed. Such is life. Now tell me Micah, why should I let you live?" Silas moved closer, his footsteps not making a sound despite how close he was to Micah.
"P-please don't hurt me!" Micah begged but Silas rolled his eyes and kicked him in the face. He didn't feel an ounce of mercy for someone who would put others down for their own benefit without a care for others.
Though he did the same before, he wouldn't complain if someone wanted his life as he wouldn't plead nor beg if the time came and it was his turn. Silas stepped on Micah's chest, looking him in the eyes.
"That isn't a reason. Money? Loyalty? Why should you live Micah?" Silas spoke ignoring Micah's pleading eyes. He didn't doubt the former would also beg and plead, only to be mocked and beaten by them.
"I'll give you money! Please don't hurt me!" Micah begged with tears streaming down his face. Silas nodded and then held out a hand. Micah struggled to pull out his wallet with his good hand.
"Hm? Ten, twenty... A hundred and sixty two dollars? Isn't that quite cheap?" Silas smirked and put his weight on Micah's chest, and then he stepped back, letting the latter breath heavily.
