Showing her tongue, Zero Two taunted and escaped from the room while laughing, making Ryo smile in helplessness.

Although he knew that it might look cheeky for him to say something so cringey sentences, he was sure that after he is strong enough in future, he will be presenting a sun to her. After all, although he never believed in promises, he will be keeping the ones that he wanted the most.

The door to their room opened as both Zero Two quickly walked out of it. Although Zero Two throttled outside fastly tip-toing her way outside, while Ryo walked quickly, following her.

As they walked out in the hall, they saw someone walking calmly into the dorm area.

Looking at the blonde hair body, watching them as they walked by him, Ryo gave him a side glace as he walked by him and with a nod, he said, "Keep and eye on Ayumi.", as he walked by him, making Alpha stop for an instant.

Turning, Alpha narrowed his eyes at the back of Omega who followed the running Iota, thinking about what Omega just told him and after a short time, he continued to walk calmly back to his dorm.

Although he wanted to follow Omega and Iota, to observe like he used to do, the thing that Omega told him made him think about the issue. It was rare for Omega to even talk to them, much less point something out.

Usually, Omega and Iota just ignores the other members of the Ten-s, but since he said something to him, it would be of greater importance. Afterall, saying something like that was useless.

Although he himself was confused what was wrong with Ayumi. She looked hyper-active and naïve.

'Interesting.'

'Hm. Now I will not have to worry much about that guy following us. I don't want anyone else to watch Zero Two naked. Darling always like to take a bath whenever they smell a little, so I am sure that she will take a dip.'

Walking calmly, Ryo's eyes flashed with an cold light. Not only the Alpha, but even the other members have been keeping a watch on them, much to his annoyance as it has reduce his experimentation time and speed.

If Ryo was correct, the Seven Sages might have get a lead on his interaction between him and Franxx. This in turn had made him work on his experiments with Holographic calls with Franxx, and this in turn has reduced the advancement of the project.

Since VIRMs are non-physical lifeforms, it would not be much of surprise for him if they have learnt about his experiments. But they has been waiting for the destruction of Humanity, and since they might be thinking that after being successful, Ryo would first try to destroy the humanity.

But from what they knew, they might think that I will be joining the Klaxosaur Princess toward the battle with VIRM, I will be connecting myself to the 'Star Entity', which they have infected with a virus. They will be accelerating the process of killing of the Earth and it's habitat.

If only they knew what Ryo had for them...

'Hm. The main reason that the experiments is not advancing is that, first of all, the Klaxosaur bloodline is harmful to the normal humans. And when the body is transferred, the human body gets mutilated and mutate as the cell has to expand and adapt to the influx of evolution.'

'And since the evolution brough and the change in the primary drafting oof the DNA itself is physically very much impossible, I had to use theoretical and experiments to get the result. I have been trying to follow the example of making the experimental personal the blood of mine, and slowly diffuse into the rest of the body to adapt to the newly introduced evolution, just like how Hiro did in the anime.'

'Sadly, it might be the plot armor, but the results has been showing negative result. The personal used started to mutate and have heart attack and body failure when introduced. And since the personnel need to be emotional to increase the adaptation, only a few has shown as much resistance to death.'

Ryo walked through the holographic door while being in deep though. Thinking about finding a growth index and cloning Hiro. As he walked out, he observed the environment which looked breathtaking yet sad.

In front of him was a city illuminated by golden color. In front of him was the inner city of the Plantation 09, Siren. In the center of all the constructions was a huge pillar which was holding and connecting the roof and the ground.

The inner city is the core of the plantation and where the adults reside. The city illuminates in a golden aura and is presented as luxurious and divine. The adults rarely venture through the city and are segregated from the children. The city operates through magma energy power plants.

Sadly, the whole inner city was silent, while occasionally a few adults walked out in the street.

'A city built on sorrow.', Ryo commented. It was dead silent and depressing while looking at the scene in front of him. The only sound made was the movement of the Magma Powerplants supplying the Magma to the whole Inner city to keep it working.

As he looked at the scene, Ryo felt attracted toward it, because of the Magma Energy was being used in the inner city. But at the same time, he felt resistant to it as it was full of depression.

"Darling!"

Looking down from the lower platform, Ryo's attention was shifted to Zero Two who was waving at him from a lift going out toward the surface of the Plantation. Making him sign.

'The curse is affecting me too much... Just looking at the city makes me disgusted.'

Thinking that, Ryo walked toward the lift, trying to follow Zero Two who was running toward the surface.

*Chirp* *Chirp* *Chirp*

Walking calmly through the forest-like area, Ryo tried to use his smelling sense to try locate Zero Two, but to no avail, he wasn't able to find her. Since Zero Two ran off too fast, the scent left was very vague, making it hard for him to find Zero Two's trails.

Although he wasn't able to locate her correctly, he was sure that Zero Two was somewhere nearby in that area.

So in the end, he tried to follow the path to the sound of flowing water, the place where Zero Two was surely be hiding at.

"Rawr~"

Surprised by the sudden voice, Ryo almost punched in the direction from where the sound came from, only to get a hold of himself as he instantly realize that it was the sound of none other than Zero Two.

Looking deadpan with his fist almost raised in the direction of the sound, Ryo stared at Zero Two hiding in the bushes, but the sight made him held his breath.

Zero Two hid behind a bush, perfectly hiding her body behind the vivid and colorful plans and tall green grasses. Her pink hair and emerald eyes perfectly blending in the surroundings, giving the scene a breathtaking sight.

"Hehe."

Blinking for a second, Ryo comprehend the scene, making Zero Two giggle at his attics and walk out of the bush, astonishing Ryo more, as she was not wearing anything.

'Thank god I have a perfect eidetic memories.'

Ryo though as he came out of the trance and thanked his ability and with a fake angry face, he quickly caught Zero Two's cheeks and stretched them as much as he could, making Zero Two yelp and try escape from his clutches, only to fail and had her cheeks stretch out.

"Don't do that again. What if I had hit you by accident?"

With a bit of anger in his voice, Ryo asked and reprimanded Zero Two for her actions. Only for her to pout and hmph-ing-ly replied, "It doesn't matter. I believe that Darling will not harm me, and if he did by accidentally, I won't feel hurt at all."

Staring at Zero Two for a second, Ryo signed in defeat. It was impossible for her to learn at all.

"Anyway, Darling, I found the Pond! Let's take a dip!"

Tilting her head, Zero Two took Ryo's hands and pulled him toward the pond.
