'Wait... Destined... *Deep Breath *. Now that I think about it... Damn! I don't know how I didn't realized it any time sooner! Was it... DIO's work? He could have used his powers to make me not think about the suspicious situation. But why would he do it?'

<After that incident, we never saw 'mother'. It was very sad. Thankfully, Ry-Darling was there for me. He comforted me, made me feel better. He really cared for me and I cared for him. <Even now, I don't know why he did it. We were different, but his eyes shined as if he understood our pain... it was fascinating making me want to take his hands... but I looked at Darling asking what to do.>

<No matter what those feelings were or how it felt, Darling was my everything. he was there from the very beginning, sharing the same if not more pain than me. I believed in him to do the best thing for us. I believed him to do the thing best for us.>

<Although at that time I didn't knew why he pushed that boy down, as I grew up, I came to know that we dodged a bullet by not going out with that emerald eyes boy. If we had went with that boy, we would have lost our precious memories of being together.>

<Just the thoughts of having all our previous memories being wiped out brings me chills. Thanks to Darling, we were able to save the memories.>

<After that, various instructors started to teach us different things. From science, mathematics to even biology. At that time, I finally understood what the feelings between the Two love birds were.>

<As our bonds increased, nothing major happened between me an Darling, making me angry. Darling is just too dense for his own good. Baka. Making me go all out over Darling. Although he was surprised and even looked at me with scary eyes due to some unknown reason, I kept my offense going on.>

<Then we met the other members of 10-s Team that was to be formed in future. At that time I met a woman that I hate from heart. Her name was Kiara. How dare she made me look like a weak person in front of my Darling. I want to kill her. I do not know why but the moment she made me look like a weak person in front of Darling... an unknown feeling rose in my heart.>

<From the very start, I was good at almost everything that I wanted to put my mind at. I practiced to be stronger, learnt how to read emotions and learnt new knowledge to put it in use, to make me more intelligent. But Kiara's presence changed it all.>

<She was better, faster, stronger. She was more intelligent and more battle proficient. It made me think about the whole situation related to me.>

<It was like my whole world crumbled. When she made me feel weak... I though about what was my worth to my Darling... I was weaker. I was not that intelligent as Kiara. I was dependent to Darling. The only thing that I was superior in was looks. Other than that... I was worthless.>

<An anger rose in my mind that made me realize that to prove my worth. I must defeat Kiara to prove my worth. She was the one who made me look useless. Even if she helped me grow and made me learn new things, the feelings of killing grew as the time went on.>

<Although I did my best to suppress, it surfaces in my mind occasionally.>

'Kiara was it... Looks like the beating that Kiara gave her has left a shadow on her. This will keep up with her and make her traumatize in future if left uncured... <I loved the feeling of whenever he got excited on thoughts of destroying his enemies. His increasing heartbeat just made mine accelerated. It was an unconscious response of my body to his. I loved on how he depended on me.>

<Then came the feeling of death. Looking at the Klaxosaur mouth crushing the FranXX, it was scary. Really really scary. At that time, I suddenly realize that Darling was not showing any fear toward it. It made me think that I was just too scared for nothing or what.>

<Again. A show of weakness. It was just too weird. It made me feel a sense of crisis. I was weak. Too weak.>

'Weird. Although I wasn't able to feeling any anomaly in her, her horns did grew a bit faster than it usually does, making me wonder what she was feeling crisis one.'

<Thankfully and sadly this feeling didn't last long as after the assessment was done, and as expected, we did great.>

<After that, nothing major had happed. But that was the problem. I came to know that Darling is just too passive when it comes to our love making! It should be his responsibility to make the first move! Hmfp. He is an idiot.>

<Thankfully, I the one and only, Zero Two was there for Darling~>

It took Ryo a few seconds to collect himself as he quickly looked at Zero Two and with a bit of hesitating voice, asked, "Darling... Are you ok...?"

"Darling... Is there someone else that you love, other than me...?"

Silence lingered the air as Zero Two asked a question, making Ryo's chest tightened.

"..."

"Darling... Is this one of the thing that you said that you hid from me...? You said that you will tell it to me when the right time comes... But when will the time come?"

With a low voice, Zero Two asked Ryo. Even when her voice was low and soft, Ryo was able to hear her voice cracking and tremble, as if she was at the verge of crying, making him close his eyes for a second and take a deep breath as he collected himself.

"..."

"Zero Two. I promise. I know that you might think that I am just wasting time, but please believe me! I promise that I have a way to get out of this place and land a place where we will be free! When we are there, I will tell you everything related to it!"

As Ryo collected himself, he opened his eyes and replied while looking at the face of Zero Two with an serious face, making Zero Two look at him.

"Really...?"

"Yes! I promise!"

"..."

"I know that you might not believe me, but... I love you more than her! Instead of love, my feelings are complicated to her! I do not completely love her but it's just the feeling of that time that you might have seen! I do not love her at all right now!"

Ryo said. It was true. With Zero Two, he was out of the shadow of his previous love.

*KREE!*

"Omega! Iota! Are you able to hear me? Due to high emotional fluctuation, your memories were accidentally shared with each other! If you are able to hear me, report back! This is urgent."

Listening to the voice of Toru, Ryo looked silently at Zero Two for a second. They were in the battlefield and they were barely protected by the other regular FranXX.

After a deep thought, Zero two finally replied. She knew that it was useless to cause any confusion and distrust between her and her Darling. Their bonds were stronger than a doubt, it is not so easy to bring any crack between them just because this small thing.

She believed in Ryo. They grew up with each other and she knew that he cared deeply for her. She believed that since Ryo promised her, he will tell her everything.

"Thank you, Darling."

Thanking Zero Two for understanding, Ryo felt an imaginary rock over his heart fall off, making him feel lighter and happier.
