Dar looked at Teddy with confusion. Did that bear really just save him to have the chance to kill him? It didn't take long to click in his head.

"Yoo Teedy, this is a skill which..ehm lets me get more exp from fallen enemies!. I don't want to fight you! Move out of the way and just observe!"

Teddy didn't want to take chances but Furyas voice still sounded in his head. Ticket to freedom.. it took a several steps sidways and observed what was going on.

Sure enough, the bodies of those apes began to shine in a pale light and vanish. Did that human really say the truth? Was its worldview really so small. Was grandma right?

"Uff, that was a close one Teddy! I really didn't think you would help me out here. Were they so mean to you? Just tell this big brither of you and I shall take revenge! Ehm well or something like that." Dar spoke out of relief and to take a step further to befriend this bear. After their fight together he didn't think about subduing him anymore.

A teacher for a day, a father for a lifetime? A bloody battle together, family untill death? Something like that.

Dar let his eyes wander to Teddy after absorbing the Terror Apes. He did have question, there was just no way to communicate with him.

He knew that the bwar could understand him, proof was their battle. The problem was that he didn't knew bear language. Wait, did they even speak bear language? What was the definition of language anyway?

Teddy ooend his eyes and watched Dar carefully. What a weird human. He has seen many of that race but none came even close to his colour. Black and white? Maybe it was an outcast?

"Human, how did you come to this island?" A low grunt and growl was echoing inside Dar ears.

"Sorry bear bro, I know you understand me but I can't say the same to you. Maybe you can learn me bear language?" Dar wasn't joking, hoe much easier life would be if he could understand bears!

Teddy looked at Dar with a face of agony. That human. Could it be. He doesn't know the telepathy skill?

Yes, Teddy didn't speak with Furya in bear or turtle language. They used telepathy to convey their intentions. They still did use soundwaves to communicate but it was mostly done per the skill.

Some growls and hand gestures later did Dar finally understand what the bear meant. It wanted to know how he got on this island.

"I don't know that myself, maybe randomly. Who cares? Shouldn't we talk about our next tasks?" Dar didn't want to say what Systa told him. He still didn't believe that crap about reincarnation.

Teddy wanted to facepalm. Make it not so obvious if you don't want to say anything! Should he just look for grandma Furya or swim to the next continent alone?

"Well anyway, how about we use our time here to train some skills? I believe that we could easily achieve our dreams!"

Teddy couldn't deny that the he wasn't liking that idea. Especially the telepathy skill. If he got it to 50 he could talk into someones mind!

So began a year of training for the two, unknown to them how the world around them was everchanging.

In a room somewhere deep below the earth were 5 holograms talking to each other. Everyone of them was just a shadow, even the voices were neither male or female.

"How's it going along #2?" The shadow at the middle talked into the round.

"The plan is going as expected, it seems that a little misshap did happen though" one of the two shadwos on the left of him answered monotone.

The middle shadow was surrpised "Ohh care to explain?"

"Let me, it seems that Project Alpha did get some uneccesary interverence." This time a shadow on the right did talk.

"Hmm? Project Alpha is already in use? Isn't that too soon?" The shadow who seemed to be the boss was slowly getting tired. How much more?

"Should we interfere ma-" before the other shadow on the right could finish his sentence he was cut short.

"No and don't dare to even try to let the others know about us. Send a signal if there is another problem. Get your work down. Especially you two!"

The middle shadow turned his head to his left side and said somewhat angry.

As if in synchronization did both of them answer a short yes while laughing.

In the middle of the ocean was a passenger ship slowly drifting on the water. On the deck were a group of people starring at an island before them.

"Should we go on land there and see if we can get any supplies? We only have food for one day left, even that will be not enough to feed everyone full!" A middle aged man with a sailor uniform spoke to the person which could only be described as a stereotypical captain.

"Hmm, you know that this time our passenger are a bit special, we need to get their consent first." He didn't like these kind of jobs but they paid just too good!

"Captain, why not ask them for food? They sure have enough, they are th-"

"No more talking about them, you know our rules! Go and ask them!" The captain gazed menancingly at one of his sailors for talking about their clients.

They didn't get this well known for asking question, they just got their job done and end of the matter!

Not far away on the island which the group of people were looking at were a bear and a boy eating some roasted fish.

"Yo Ted, do you think we should make our way to the mainland soon? It has been a year already!" Dar did grow a little bit in height. His childish look was slowly turning into a young adult.

Ted, the nickname he got from Dar, was Teddy. He only licked his lips and bite into the fish before answering Dar with Telepathy.

"You know boy, I don't even care anymore. The food is good, I can level up myself. I even got you by my side. The only thing I really want would be a female bear!"

The fish almost dropped out of Dar's hand as he heard that. Was he kidding? Which female bear would like this weird ass fatty?

" Ojj do you think something rude about me again !?! You know I got sensitive since I evolved my skill!"

Ted and Dar were getting closer and closer to each other after this year. At first they didn't have much interaction. That was until they were suddenly visited by a storm.

It was a funny sight, a boy and a five times bigger bear hugging each other. That may be a story for another day.

"No! Me?! Never! How could someone think rude of a bear who only knows how to eat and laue around? I mean, even this fish wasn't caught by you!" Dar provoked his companion beside him with an evil smile.

"Ohh you dare to exchange some pointers boy?!" Ted got up on his two back legs and looked down at the tiny human.

"Hmm, why not compare stats and skills? That would be much faster!" Dar and Teddy knew that it would end like this so they were ready to tell the other their stats.

Even Systa got an headache after being with them for half a month and only told Dar to ask him questions if its necessary. If even a system gets annoyed, what would living beings be?
