Dar leisurly slandered along the way to the inn. Like Feni told him, about a two minute walk away was an inn with the sign "Cat Nap". The signboard itself had a cat on a bed sleeping. The name was fitting to the sign at least.

Opening the door he walked in and inspected the reception room. It wasn't big but good enough for an inn with that size.

"Welcome welcome! I respectfully welcome you to the best place to sleep in whole Kalia!" A skinny middle aged man was greeting Dar with a big smile.

There was really nothing special about him. If you walk on the street you wouldn't even notice him. That was, what made Dar puzzled though. He scanned the man before him and got instantly surprised.

No not only Dar, the skinny man to. His face changed colours multiple times until he readied himself for a battle.

"You won't get me! Why can't people who use the system also cultivate?! You clan cultivators are all a bunch of assholes!" The man readied his punch and shoot straight at Dar. Well he tried, his arts didn't circle and it was as if his whole body cultivation was screaming at him. Don't fight! Run away!

Dar was smiling like a child who just found a toy. Who would have thought that there really were people who used both paths! Seems that Feni made this happen with a meaning.

No way that this was purerly luck or an accident that the inn she told him about had someone who dabbled in cultivation. His foundation wasn't even bad for being a lone cultivator!

"Na na little boy. You have to hold your temper. You didn't even use your divine sense and already attacked me. I pressume you don't have anyone guiding you?"

Rakna was flailing his arms before Dar like a child. His heart told him he didn't stand a chance. Still, if people knew that he dabbled in cultivation arts he would most probably be executed.

"I lived for more than 100 years! I'm not afraid of dying!" Rakna suddenly fell to the floor and saw the man who came in holding his stomach and laughing tears.

"Oh have mercy! Hahaha, you are a funny one! I would say Feni did send me here with a purpose but so my old self is really too much!"

After Rakna did get on his legs he almost kneeled again. Guildmaster Feni did send this man here? A cultivator to boot?

"May I know your name and if Feni really did send you here? Did she say something when talking about this inn?"

Dar still had a smile on his face, he knew what the man before him meant. "Yeah, something about being average. It's just when I look at you I don't see average. Roots of space and earth aren't that common!"

Dar used identify to get a better look at his stats. Sure enough, even the gate guard couldn't hold a handle to him.

Rakna

Level 19

HP 380

Mana 560

Strength 320

Deff 295

Agility 240

Dar's Identify wasn't high enough to see Raknas skills. He used his divine sense and saw space and earth element. Most probably the one before him had a high affinity to those elements. Without further investigation he couldn't be to sure though. Cultivation wasn't as simple as leveling with the system.

"So lets compromise. You need a master and I need a place to sleep. How about we make a exchange? I will teach you to master cultivation and you let me live here?"

Rakna thought about it for a moment. If he just accepted this offer without thought, he may regret it some time.

"I see you don't jump the gun. Maybe I should help you decide it better!" Dar smiled at Rakna and the latter had a bad feeling. The next time Rakna blinked he saw a scene which he would never forget in his life.

"Welcome to space! It's a beautiful place, right? When I first came here there was still a battle going on. There are five known landmasses drifting in this infinite black. Rotating around it are what we call sun and moon."

Rakna didn't see those other landmasses Dar talked about. He just looked mesmerized at the one he saw below. He couldn't describe the size, he didn't saw the end of it.

Orbiting around it was a ball of flame and three moons. Now that he saw the four objects from this perspective he saw something only few people knew.

Pointing with a shivering finger at them he could only stutter. " Thoseare beasts?!"

"Ohh yeah, normally one would call them Life Guardian. They rule the mortal time and life cycle. Even I don't want to randomly mess around with them. Well, they sleep almost nonstop. "

Rakna only nodded and didn't think about them anymore. The scenery and feeling here was out of this world. They were in space, so it was no wonder he felt different.

Rakna bowed to Dar and said solemly. "I greet Master! I will learn earnestly under your tutelage!" Dar was content with that. He had many disciples long ago. Most of them died though, there were probably only a handfull left.

With another thought they both reppeared in Rakna's Inn. It was like a fever dream to see the whole wide world they lived in. He now understood that his master before him wasn't someone who would joke around.

"Give me your hand! I need to inspect your roots and if you made any errors during cultivation. As you are only at the Foundation Establishment, there shouldn't be too many problems."

Dar took the outstreched hand of Rakna and let his sense flow threw the latters body. The only thing he immediately saw was the art his new disciple cultivated was..trash and not for people with his kind of roots.

"How long are you cultivating now? Your foundation issolid but your art isn't exactly good for you."

"It should be 3 years now. I was an adventurer once but my team got wuped out in a ancient cultivator cave, I got this art and some informatiin about cultivation from the inhertance."

Dar was surprised, 3 years? Even in the height of cultivation that would have been rather fast. That's even ruling out his cultivation art which made his progress slower!

After several seconds of silence did Dar wave his hand and a scroll was floating before Rakna.

"Abolish your cultivation and train anew with this one. The art is called Disrubting Earth. As you have an affinity with both space and earth, it would make you progress faster and have a more solid foundation."

Abolish his cultivation? Rakna didn't want to do that! He only cultivated because people above level 50 had to have some connections to level up!

Most things helping you fasten your progress was held in the hands of higher ups. Sure you could train skills but just how long would that take?

"Don't worry, I will set up some arrays and give you energy stones to help you cultivate. It shouldn't take dou more than a year to reach your realm again."

Dar wasn't lying, if he got to Foundation Establishment within three years with that cultivation art and without ressources. He could only fathom how quick his progress would be.

The Disrupting Eart art wasn't just some low level thing. He once made it personally for one of his disciple. At the perfect stage with the right cultivation realm it would be more than enough to sink a whole continent. The art combined the aspect of space and the construction of earth.

With a thought one can just let things vanish into thin air, as long that the item targeted wasn't stronger than oneself.

Rakna took the scroll and handed a key to Dar.  "This is the masterkey to this place. Master can do what he wants here. The food will be delivered by a shop next door every morning, I will go and prepare something for you now. Master hasn't to worry about that!"

He took the key and walked upstairs to the bedrooms. It was time for him to think about his next steps. It seems that his plan to introduce the system wasn't as good as he thought.

In this short time he saw and heard many things which he didn't like. He wants to take it slowly though. First enjoy some adventires and after that he will have to clean up this continent.
