Chapter 405: The Barbarians, Behemoth

“What? You scared?” Qian Jin kept narrowing his eyes until they shrank into needle points and stared at the assassin on the rooftop. At the same time, he flashed here and there, trying to dodge the flying arrows.

Qian Jin had never seen such a good archer who wouldn’t let out any killing intent until the last moment. The archer walked in the dark, trying to kill them in one blow. He was almost as good as Qian Jin in archery, close to the level of [May’s Shower].

But Qian Jin clearly felt that the assassin was trying not to get freaked out. Although the arrows were shot with the same accuracy at top speed, they could barely be counted as a threat. He was panicked!

Chirp! Another arrow was let out. The sound led Qian Jin to the left side of the rooftop. An archer was spotted and he tried to leave. There were no more [Chain Arrows].

“Want to run?” Qian Jin’s eyebrows jumped. Archers were the sneakiest warriors in the world. If he escaped this time, Qian Jin might not be able to find him again.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Holding the strong bow in hand, Qian Jin ran at top speed as if he were riding a horse. As the bowstring was pulled, it pierced the air and issued three consecutive blasts. Rotating in the air, three arrows dashed out and formed three small but visible tornadoes. As the moonlight sprinkled on the arrowheads, they looked scarily cold.

Strangely, the lines the three arrows drew were not straight. They first rushed upwards and then swooped down like hawks, which sketched a beautiful but tragic arc. In the rumbling and piercing sounds, the arrows finally flew in different directions.

“Stop there!”

Flipping his wrist, Qian Jin put the [Shoot Moon Bow] back into his Warrior Dimension. The pinpoint-sized pupils stared at the archer, who tried to retreat but was stopped by the three arrows.

For this strike, Qian Jin had turned into a Level 1 Demon Slayer. Under the instruction of his Warrior, the Warrior Power kicked over and in a second, it reached a superb speed of 110,000 cycles. At the same time, the 108 dead reservoirs in the body broke out into 150,000 cycles by the traction of his Heart of Earthy Fire.

Bang! Fizz!

It’s time for a full-speed dash. The archer would only be stranded by the arrows for a short time. Since he had already thought of a retreat, he would try it again sooner or later. Although the Heart of Earthy Fire could only be used three times a day, Qian Jin combined the two forces under his foot.

Moving a step forward, the crazy man cracked and crushed the stone bricks. The tattered shoes were immediately charred by the Heart of Earthy Fire’s enmity and in the blink of an eye, they became a pile of ashes. Even the floor under his foot was blazed and blackened because of the heat as if it had been tortured by some kind of fire magic.

Galloping through campus, Qian Jin whirred by like a whistling train. The friction against the air was jarring and the dust blew off blurred the scenery on both sides.

The wind swept along, carrying the hats of two mage students who just left the party with it.

“Was that a man?”

“Huh? I saw nothing. It was just a gust, I think.”

“Am I mistaken?”

“I think so! It can’t be an Undead anyways.”

Stopping in front of a building, Qian Jin glanced at the stairs and the roof. He decided not to take the stairs. It was too damn slow! Holding against the windowsill on the first floor with his right hand, Qian Jin pushed himself upwards onto the second floor like a monkey bouncing around among the trees. Holding against the windowsill once again with the left hand, he jumped onto the third floor.

“What is that?”

“Demon Ape?”

“You gotta be kidding! How could a Demon Ape appear on campus? They live in forests!”

“You saw it yourself! Only Demon Ape moves in that way!”

“Oh my God! Go and tell the…guards.”

Whizz! On the rooftop, the archer shot an arrow down. Sensing the incoming danger, Qian Jin’s heart beat fast. The archer was an expert at timing! Qian Jin was now in the air and had nowhere to hide.

“Warrior Dimension, open!” He dived into the giant storehouse and fished out the Zhanmadao! In the moonlight, it bloomed with stunning murderous coldness, like a python turning upside down the river, or a dragon rising out from the sea. The blade light played across the sky, devouring the arrow in terms no less harsh.

Band! Clatter!

Stepping on the windowsill of the third floor, Qian Jin stamped the block into pieces with unbearable force and the stone rain fell down to the ground. Qian Jin immediately rushed upwards as he drew a long mark with the chopper in hand like a falling meteorite. The archer was completely enveloped in the light.

Under the moonlight and shiny light of the chopper, Qian Jin finally saw the face. Qian Jin was stunned! It’s a teenager who was even younger than him!

He was of almost 7 feet tall and the bow in his hand was even taller. At first glance, he seemed like an adult, but the face exposed his age. It’s a cold face but still possessing the innocence of a child.

The childishness, even for the most proficient killer, would only fade away bit by bit with the passage of time or the increase of experience.

The square face had a layer of soft hair that the naked eye could see! In the cold eyes, Qian Jin saw some strange red light. He seemed a normal person but in Bloodline Battle Form.

Yes! He was a bloodline warrior… Or should he be called Behemoth Bloodline Warrior of the Barbarians?

Qian Jin hadn’t expected that the person used [Divine Shot] turned out to be a Barbarian. And he was a Behemoth Bloodline Warrior! Right! The muscular body, the red eyes, and the layer of light gray hair… He was exactly the same with the image depicted by the Qian predecessors.

How could a Behemoth Bloodline Warrior of the Barbarians be capable of the [Divine Shot]? No! It’s not the [Divine Shot]! Qian Jin finally knew it. It had never been the fighting technique of the Yuri Family since the beginning! It belonged to the Purple-Vein Bloodline Warrior of the Barbarian!

The young Behemoth looked at Qian Jin coldly. Holding the huge tomahawk aside, he rushed forward against the Zhanmadao!

How would he be a Barbarian? Left no time to think about it, Qian Jin decided to take the young boy down first. Injecting power in both of his arms, he launched the [Bloody Combat Seven Strikes]! In the dazzling blade light, one could clearly feel the tyrannical and murderous momentum. Suddenly, the whistling blazer dropped like a diving dragon.

Ah…The young Behemoth cried into the air as his muscles once again inflated. The Warrior Power was started and the hair all stood up like steel needles. He waved the war ax, which sounded like a roaring beast.

The two weapons clashed and a thunder came out of nowhere on the rooftop! Sparks splashed, like shining stars in the night.

Boom! The roof under the Behemoth could no longer bear the impact and collapsed. By virtue of the gravitational force, the Behemoth also fell into the hole and his tomahawk was broken into two halves for God what reason. As he held the handle tightly, the other part kept rotating at top-speed in the air.

Puff! Puff! Puff….

The handle also started rotating and the part of his hand between the thumb and the index finger was torn up as if he were holding the paw of a beast. The wound was two inches long and it kept stretching till it reached the wrist. Blood poured out.

The Barbarian could scarcely manage to stand on the ground. He slightly tilted and spat out a mouthful of blood. Like a crumbling pillar, he fell down as a dislocating sound came from the shoulders.

The stones of the rooftop fell down onto the ground. Like a god, Qian Jin stood there with Zhanmadao in hand and through the stony rain, he looked at the young man who couldn’t stay calm any longer.

It was just a strike!

The young Behemoth was shocked at the left part of his tomahawk! It was, after all, a Warrior Weapon. How could that man break it with just one blow? And the strength…

In this world, only the Bulk Demons, as well as the Titan Bloodline in the Zence Empire, could rival the Behemoth Bloodline Warriors in terms of strength.

But this man here… He was obviously just an ordinary warrior. The Behemoth felt like his arms could have been torn apart! How terrible his power was!

“Well, you have not much time now. Even if I let you go, you couldn’t get away when more people come.” Clutching the Zhanmadao in hand, Qian Jin stared at the young Behemoth and said, “Tell me your name as well as why you want to kill me and I’ll let you go immediately.”

“Rocky Ray.” The Behemoth said without showing any emotion.

“Rocky? You’re a member of the royal family?” Qian Jin was surely a lucky dog. According to the Barbarian rules, the losing side must tell their names. He had defeated Lucifer Lucy, a royal family member of the Demons and now another royal of the Barbarians!

Shock flashed in the cold eyes of Rocky Ray. Nowadays even some barbarians didn’t know this name. This Zence human… Yes, there had been a family of the Behemoth Bloodline that was called Rocky and they were once the royal family.

“What a surprise!” Qian Jin shook his head. He wouldn’t know about this if he had not read the notes passed down by the Qian ancestors.

In the textbooks of the Zence Empire, there was some introduction about a royal civil strife in the history of the Barbarians. It said that the war had sunk into peace under the wise emperor Peter Locke.
