Chapter 49: Brought her in front of the mirror.

When she woke up the next day, Xu Sui couldn’t stand steadily. Her entire body seemed to be detached. As she stepped on the floor with her bare feet, it was difficult for her to take a step.

With a cigarette in his mouth, Zhou Jingze walked over, wearing only a pair of sweatpants, and held Xu Sui in his arms. He carried her to the sink and helped her brush her teeth and wash her face.

He squeezed the toothpaste onto the toothbrush and said in a clear voice, “Open your mouth.”

Xu Sui opened her mouth obediently and then lowered her head, pretending to carefully look at the cracks between the green sink. She still didn’t dare to look directly at Zhou Jingze.

The two of them slept together in the same bed all night. When she closed her eyes, she was immediately reminded of their intercourse last night and blushed when she thought about it. In the morning, the two of them were still in the same small space, undressed and facing each other, brushing their teeth together. It looked plain but not ordinary.

Xu Sui’s mouth was full of mint-flavored foam, and Zhou Jingze turned on the rusty faucet. The water flowed for a while but then stopped again. His black obsidian eyes looked around the peeled walls of the shabby hotel, and he spoke in a meaningful tone:

“This first time definitely… left a deep impression.”

After he finished speaking, Zhou Jingze went out and bought two water bottles for Xu Sui to wash up. Xu Sui took a mouthful of water and spit it out; her lower abdomen faintly hurting when she bent down.

It was all because he had no control last night, and they did it until midnight.

She complained softly: “Fortunately, the exam is in the afternoon. It’s all your fault.”

Zhou Jingze had an idle smile on his face. He grabbed the little girl’s waist and brought her in front of the mirror. His tone was slow, and his Adam’s apple rolling slowly: “You should be glad that you have an exam this afternoon, otherwise, you’ll be doing it again here.”

In front of the mirror, she would have died. Xu Sui patted his hand in fright and ran away.

After packing up their things, Zhou Jingze took Xu Sui out for a meal and then personally accompanied her to the testing room. After Xu Sui finished the exam, she saw that Zhou Jingze was still waiting for her on the bench outside.

He leaned back lazily on the bench, with his long black eyelashes drooping, playing a Sudoku game on his phone. The examinees passing by couldn’t help but take a second look in his direction. But Zhou Jingze didn’t even bother to look.

On a whim, Xu Sui wanted to scare him, so she quietly walked behind him. With a pencil case between her elbows, she raised her hand to cover his eyes, deliberately changing her voice, and said, “Guess who I am?” ”

“Yiyi.” Zhou Jingze’s tone was calm.

Xu Sui felt it was boring and let go of her hand, muttering: “How did you guess it was me?”

“Your body smells like milk.” Zhou Jingze’s tone was lazy but full of vigor.

Xu Sui blushed. She couldn’t beat him in this aspect, so she switched the topic: “I think I did pretty well on the exam this time. ”

” Yes, I’ll take you to eat something good. “Zhou Jingze smiled and raised his hand to pinch her face.

The weekend passed by, and the results came out quickly. When the rankings were released on Tuesday, Xu Sui saw her name written underneath the first place, and a load was finally off her mind.

She finally has money to buy what she wants.

Xu Sui took out her phone and sent a message to Hu Qianxi: 【Xixi, the Italian purchasing agent you mentioned last time, send me the contact ah.】

On the other end, the sun was scorching hot, and the cicadas hummed nonstop. Zhou Jingze and his group had just finished an hour of emergency training. They were sweating profusely, and the veins on their tanned forehead bulged.

The first thing Zhou Jingze did when he returned to the dormitory was to take a cold shower. Sheng Nanzhou turned on the fan to maximum power. The white blades whirled in a circle, but he still felt scorching hot.

The sound of rushing water came from the bathroom, and Sheng Nanzhou was so impatient that he walked over and knocked on the door twice. With an urgent tone: “Bro, let’s shower together.”

Zhou Jingze: “? ”

The cold water from the shower head sprinkled down, and Zhou Jingze raised his hand to brush his hair back. His dark eyebrows were stained with water, and he was closing his eyes. With a bang, Sheng Nanzhou hurriedly pushed open the door.

The two looked at each other, and Sheng Nanzhou thought of a phrase — frankly and relative.

“Go out if you don’t want to die.” Zhou Jingze spoke slowly.

Sheng Nanzhou snatched the shower head over him. His tone was natural, but he felt that Zhou Jingze was making a fuss: “What? We both grew up wearing the same pants. What’s wrong with taking a shower together?”

Zhou Jingze closed the shower head with a “pa” and pulled off the bath towel on the shelf, wrapping it around himself in an earnest manner. With a slow tone showing off:

“The situation is now different.”

“?” Sheng Nanzhou.

“I have to keep myself as pure as jade for my wife,” Zhou Jingze’s tone was casual, revealing inadvertent joy.

Sheng Nanzhou was silent for three seconds before he realized what he meant. He turned on the shower and sprayed it at him. Zhou Jingze raised his eyebrows and directly locked his throat. Water splashed everywhere, and the two wrestled together.

The closed bathroom door made a bang sound from time to time, and Sheng Nanzhou’s angry voice came faintly through the crack of the door.

“Fuck, Zhou Jingze, you are not human.”

“You old beast!”

The two fought in the bathroom and took a shower. When Zhou Jingze came out, his hair was still wet. He pulled a dry towel and wiped it casually on his head twice before throwing it into the laundry basket.

The fan was spinning slowly above his head. Zhou Jingze picked up the ice water on the table and took a sip. He lazily leaned back on his seat and took out his phone to watch a ball game.

Sheng Nanzhou came out later, and when he passed by Zhou Jingze’s seat, he kicked his chair. Zhou Jingze didn’t raise his eyelids but said a word: “Speak.”

Sheng Nanzhou brought over his chair and sat down next to Zhou Jingze, asking: “Ning Ning is back, you didn’t come ah.”

“I had something to do.” Zhou Jingze never took his eyes off the phone.

Sheng Nanzhou nodded, then raised his chin at him and said what he had been holding back for a long time: “Hey, what’s happening with you now? Are you going to play with her? No matter how many girlfriends you had before and what you did, brother, I didn’t say a word; but sister Xu is different from the others. She is such a good girl and must’ve been blind to fall in love with a scum like you…”

Zhou Jingze’s gaze stopped at the game on the phone. Neymar scored a goal, and the audience cheered loudly. His eyes paused, and he pressed his thumb, turning off the video. He put his hands behind his head: “I want to bring her to see grandpa.”

Sheng Nanzhou was still rambling. When he heard this sentence, he stopped abruptly and patted him on the shoulder: “Amazing, brother, I have nothing to say.”

Who was Zhou Jingze’s grandpa? Besides the greatness of the old man, the most important thing is that he is Zhou Jingze’s closest relative in this world.

He had never seen Zhou Jingze bringing any girl to see his grandpa.

Tsk, the prodigal son also has a day of being anchored.

Ok, he is pretty impressive.

On the weekend, Xu Sui stayed at Zhou Jingze’s house. The two had a meal together and planned to watch a movie together. Zhou Jingze bent one leg on the sofa and pressed the remote control at the projector, asking, “What do you want to watch? Do you like to watch horror movies?”

“I’ve watched a lot of that theme recently. Let’s watch something suspenseful.”

“Okay.” Zhou Jingze smiled.

The two sat side by side, watching the movie. The room was dark, and only the projector in front emitted a dim light. Xu Sui hugged a pillow and looked at it seriously, but Zhou Jingze didn’t pay attention to it. His fingers hooked a strand of her hair and wrapped around it, brushing against her cheeks from time to time.

Once a person gives themself to the other party, skin contact, ears, and temples rubbed together and engaging in intercourse, there is no longer any distance. The other party completely belongs to oneself.

That feeling was different, something he had never experienced before.

Zhou Jingze felt a sense of pride and satisfaction.

She was his woman.

Xu Sui looked at it seriously but felt that his fingers were cold. When he brushed past her lips, she shivered. But it didn’t take long for her cheeks to heat up. Her toes curled up on the sofa, and a layer of sweat appeared on her back.

“You… can you think of something else?”

Xu Sui pushed away his hand, but her strength was weak. Instead, he seemed to welcome her, and the man’s big palm completely wrapped her hand; his knuckles were tightly knit. He pinched her fingertips lightly, as if electric currents passed through, itchy and numb.

Zhou Jingze turned his head, and the heat poured onto her ears, itchy. He smiled lazily: “It’s too late. That’s my morals.”

“I haven’t taken a shower yet.” Xu Sui’s ears were so red as if she was bleeding. She pushed him away and hurried off the sofa while he was focused. She rushed into the bathroom, and after a while, there was the sound of running water.

Xu Sui was taking a shower in the bathroom and suddenly remembered that she had to set an alarm tomorrow to pick up a package when the courier delivered it. Thinking about it now, her phone was still outside.

“Zhou Jingze, can you help me find my phone?” Xu Sui opened a small crack in the door and asked with a soft voice.

Zhou Jingze narrowed his eyes and replied slowly: “Okay, call husband and I’ll help you find it.”

“Won’t,” Xu Sui’s heartbeat missed a beat, and she closed the door with a “pa.”

There was no sound from outside. Xu Sui was thinking about it while washing away the foam on her body. She tends to turn her phone on silent mode, so it probably would take him a while to look for it.

The foam on her slender arm was washed away bit by bit. There was a patient knocking sound on the bathroom door. Xu Sui hastily took a towel to cover herself and opened the door.

Zhou Jingze leaned against the door, his dark eyebrows suppressing the turbulent emotions. The pressure was a little low, and he had the word “unhappy” all over his face. He lowered his head, looking at her.

“What’s wrong?” Xu Sui looked up at him.

Zhou Jingze handed Xu Sui’s phone to her and licked his back molars with the tip of his tongue: “Explain?”

Xu Sui picked it up and saw that her phone showed two missed calls from Zhou Jingze, and the contact name was ZJZ.

She suddenly understood why Zhou Jingze was angry, but he probably wouldn’t understand such a complicated girl’s mind even after explaining it.

Xu Sui took a breath, grabbed the bath towel on her chest with one hand, and said very obediently: “I’ll change it right away.”

The door was opened very wide, and the heat dissipated little by little. Xu Sui subconsciously shrank her shoulders. Her fingers were wet, and she didn’t type correctly on the screen several times.

Zhou Jingze leaned against the door and looked at her lazily. She had just soaked in hot water, and her whole body was covered with a layer of faint pink color, as tender as a freshly peeled lychee. The two collarbones on her chest were like two crescent moons.

She seemed to be thinking about what contact name to change it to; her misty eyes were full of indecisiveness. Her moist pink lips were opened slightly, and she bit her finger.

With a “bang”, Zhou Jingze stepped in sideways, blocking her view. He stretched out his hands and pulled the bath towel on her body, his dark eyes surged with emotion, and his throat rolled slowly:

“Take your time to think slowly.”

The water in the bathroom dripped, and the mist slowly wrapped around. Xu Sui only felt a pain that came from the rubbing sensation in the ribs, like ants gnawing; painful but carried a pleasure. The space was small, and she felt extremely hot.

The water in the shower was not turned off yet. The water droplets hanging on the mirror surface were covered with water vapor, slowly sliding down. The hot water splashed on the ground, and the room was full of steaming heat.

Zhou Jingze’s eyelashes were stained with sweat, and he said in a hoarse voice, “Tsk, I only watched a third of the movie, and I wanted to finish watching it on the sofa with you.”

“Now, it seems that there is no chance.” Zhou Jingze raised his eyebrows, carrying hidden meanings.

Xu Sui bit her lip and said nothing. Zhou Jingze picked up the phone from the sink and handed it to her, and said in a casual tone, “What do you want to change it to?”

Xu Sui had no choice but to blush and stammered, “Boy… boyfriend.”

Xu Sui was stared at by him and wanted to change the name on the spot, but she didn’t even have the strength to hold the phone firmly. The boy came forward and put his broad palm on her back, holding her joints with his fingers and teaching her to type.

Unclear if he did it on purpose, but Xu Sui felt that she had no strength at all. At that moment, the hot water from the shower just poured down. She felt a chill, hot and numb, and unsteadily typed the word:

Husband.

In the end, Xu Sui almost passed out in the bathroom.

The next day, Xu Sui overslept and slept until late in the morning. When she woke up, she found that there was no one beside her pillow. Master Kratos was lying by the bed, basking in the sun lazily, while 1017 jumped up and down on the bed, dragging her hair and biting it.

Xu Sui saved her long hair from the fat cat’s mouth, put on a jacket, and got up. When she woke up, she found that Zhou Jingze had already bought her breakfast and left a note — going out for something.

After eating, Xu Sui’s phone on the dining table rang, and she ran out of the yard to open the door and sign an international express delivery.

Xu Sui carefully carried it inside and went straight to the second floor. She hesitated for a while before walking into an empty room at the innermost corner of the second floor. She put the things there and cleaned the room again, staying there all afternoon to arrange it.

At eight o’clock in the evening, Zhou Jingze came home on time and fed the cat like he usually did. When he opened the door, he found Xu Sui sitting on the carpet and leaning on the sofa, reading a book.

Xu Sui raised her face from the book, and after seeing the person clearly, her eyes sparkled: “You’re back?” ”

“En, came back to feed the cat.” Zhou Jingze smiled and brought the food in front of her.

Xu Sui put down her book and crawled over. She placed her elbows on the table to open the bag and found a red velvet cake beside him. Dimples appeared on her cheeks: “Hey, why did you suddenly think of buying a cake?”

Zhou Jingze sat on the sofa and opened the plastic package paper, handing her a fork: “I saw a lot of people lining up on the side of the road, so it should be pretty good.”

Xu Sui took a bite of the cake. Her cheeks fluttered as if thinking of something: “By the way, the game console seems to be broken.”

Zhou Jingze put the phone aside, went to the lower shelf, and turned it on. He tapped and pressed, turning on the button, and said, “I’ll go upstairs to get the toolbox.”

Xu Sui nodded and continued to eat the small cake. There was no movement upstairs, and it took five minutes for her to react and immediately rush forward.

Xu Sui ran upstairs in a panic and almost fell on her way. When she reached the last room, she found a red toolbox beside Zhou Jingze’s feet, and he was staring at the three-dimensional thing in front of him.

She patted her chest and let out a sigh of relief. Fortunately, he didn’t open the thing, and the curtain behind him hadn’t been lifted.

“What is this? My birthday present?” Zhou Jingze looked at her intently.

Xu Sui shook her head, pretending to be indifferent: “No, that’s my package.”

Zhou Jingze looked at her with a half-smile and said in a low voice, “Let’s open it, I want to see it.”

Xu Sui’s eyes on Zhou Jingze were deadlocked for three minutes before losing. In the end, the gift was too big, and she was easily exposed. His real birthday hadn’t happened yet, and there was still a week left.

Xu Sui puffed her cheeks: “Okay, but you have to close your eyes. I have another gift for you on your birthday.” ”

Okay.” Zhou Jingze.

Zhou Jingze closed his eyes. There were rustling sounds around him, and then he heard the sound of Xu Sui unpacking the box. After a long while, there was a sudden snap, and the lights went out. The surroundings fell into darkness.

“You can open your eyes now.” Xu Sui tugged at his sleeves with a soft voice.

Zhou Jingze felt that he had waited as long as a century. He opened his eyes with a casual smile on his face and was about to ask her if she was going to propose to him so slowly. His eyes inadvertently swept around, and his smile froze. No word came out.

A tall Halo Mandalaki sunset projection lamp was lit in front of him. The orange light and shadow hit the opposite white wall like a huge orange, illuminating every photo on the wall.

Some of these photos he couldn’t clearly remember, and he didn’t know how Xu Sui patiently rummaged and found the photos through his social platforms. Some of them seem to be from the official website, which was a bit blurry.

When he won the championship in the baseball league for the first time and when he got first place in the Math Olympiad and took a group photo with his teacher and classmates. Also, when he was 16 years old, he bungee jumped from the Navajo Bridge in the United States. 17 years old, when he played Bach abroad for the first time at the Grand Theatre in the Central Hall.

In the center of the sunset on the wall was a small aircraft model — the aircraft G-588017.

That was the plane that Zhou Jingze and Gao Yang used in the flight competition, and it was also the first time in his life that he successfully flew into the sky.

Last year when he drove her to the high-speed rail station, Xu Sui asked, “What do you usually do on vacation?”

Zhou Jingze drove the car and said with a reckless tone: “Skiing, bungee jumping, car racing, whatever exciting.”

“But aren’t these things very dangerous?”

“But I don’t mind. No one cares, so I just waste my time. Thinking about it, it’s worth dying on the road one day being able to see the sunset.” What Zhou Jingze said were half-truth and half-false.

The photos on the wall recorded every wonderful and meaningful moment in Zhou Jingze’s life, as well as the small model airplane in the center. Xu Sui told him in her own way — your life has not been wasted, the road ahead has just begun.

“Happy birthday, Zhou Jingze.” Xu Sui said softly.

Zhou Jingze was a little speechless, and he could only look at her and smile. He said slowly, “I suddenly want to grow old with you.”

How could there be such a silly girl who had been working hard to get first place a while ago only to get money to buy him gifts? She prepared it meticulously with all her heart, trying to give him the best.

Xu Sui smiled and hooked his fingers quietly. Zhou Jingze held her backband with great strength as if he was grasping something.

I hope you are safe and proud.

Happy birthday, my dearest.
