Jonathan knew that the training ground wasn't the safest place during certain hours of the day. At least if he didn't want to get spotted. Considering that the fourth Hokage recently passed, many young shinobi like Kurenai Yūhi were bound to use that as motivation to grow stronger.
Though Jonathan focused on his training, he was also keeping a mindful watch on anyone who might have been close by. If anything felt off or abnormal to him, he would most certainly vanish from the scene. The less people who knew about Jonathan, the better. There was only one notable person who truly knew of Jonathan's existence. That person was Kabuto Yakushi.
The very presence of Jonathan was great enough to possibly prevent Kabuto from joining Root, Danzō Shimura's organization. If this were to happen, the entire story would take a drastic change. Jonathan needed Kabuto to join Root. If he didn't, Orochimaru and him wouldn't have their meaningful encounter. Jonathan, however, deduced that because he left the orphanage three years prior to the event, it would give Kabuto more than enough time to develop his bond for the orphanage. If anything, Jonathan's departure might fuel Kabuto's decision to join Root.
Root, an organization Jonathan would not only need to evade, but still had a slight interest in. That interest was in Yamato. His current name was Kinoe and he would eventually leave Root to join the Anbu. The Leaf was comprised of not just clans but several organizations. Each one of having their own branches and sub branches. If Jonathan ever hoped to become strong, he needed enough power to demolish even those of Root and the Anbu. For they were where the Leaf housed their most dangerous ninjas.
As Jonathan's chakra reached a low point, he stopped his training. Despite being only about five years of age, his muscle growth had been accelerated thanks to the effects of his healing jutsu. Sadly, Jonathan couldn't take advantage of this style of training.
When he removed the weights, even he could feel a difference. Jonathan picked a safe route he was sure no one would spot him as he was leaving the training grounds. Before he fully departed, however, he heard loud banging noises close by. Jonathan changed his direction to see who was strong enough to train at such intensity.
When he spotted the shinobi, Jonathan's heart pounded in excitement. He smiled. Jonathan wasn't one to covet, but the person he was watching was Might Guy.
Jonathan was low on chakra, so he couldn't keep the sharingan active for long even if he wanted to. He had spent much of the day training with it vigorously. As such, Jonathan judged the time and place he saw Might Guy training. This is what separated Jonathan from most. He wasn't greedy and had much patience. In time, he would return to watch this world's soon to be best taijutsu specialist train.
When Jonathan made it home through the back entrance, he was greeted by Ayame.
"Onii-chan, you're home."
Jonathan placed a special suggestion in Ayame's illusion. That was not to focus on making friends. Teuchi would be at the ramen shop from morning to late evening. It would be troublesome if the two brought unwanted visitors to the house.
It was required that Jonathan spent the time in solitude. There were many events to unfold this year, so he had to take the time to not only revise his plans but also remember what those events were. After the fourth Hokage died, this part of the story was mainly filler. Since it wasn't so bad to Jonathan at the time, he recalled only of the important events. Things such as Anko Mitarashi and Hiruzen Sarutobi reclaiming the position of Hokage. More importantly, he knew of the background characters that would help him develop.
Whether they themselves knew it or not.
