"He failed?"

"He... didn't get the Art of Chaos?"

"He couldn't defeat Death?"

"Annie Arline didn't fall for him?!"

"SILENCE!"

The figures, who were sitting at the tables, discussing something seemingly important, all shut up upon hearing the authoritative shout. They all turned toward the source of the sound—a woman with long gray hair and molten-red eyes, and said in unison, ""Greetings to the Storms.""

The woman nodded and sat down on a nearby chair, as if she hadn't just rudely interrupted them earlier.

"I'm sure that you all are aware of the Hero's failure," the woman said with a sigh.

"Indeed."

"It was a mistake to choose someone like him as the protagonist."

"Everything went wrong..."

This time, the woman waited for the murmurs to quiet down before continuing, "this narrative is already ruined, so we have to choose a new one. Tell me, fellow Gods, do you have any suggestion?"

The Gods whispered to each other, intensely discussing about the narrative. After a while, they broke away from the discussion and all looked straight at the woman.

"We all ran out of novels."

"Figured," the woman sighed.

Before she could say anything else, a God spoke up, "Lyra, why don't you choose? You haven't chosen the narrative before despite being the representative, and I'm sure you still have a lot of unused novels in your collection."

"W-well," Lyra stammered, not expecting them to suggest that at all. "Do I have to?"

"You're the only one who can make a new narrative."

"B-but I only have one novel!"

"That's good enough. It'll buy us time until we can acquire another one."

Not being able to refute anything, Lyra decide to just shut up and brace herself for what was to come. Psyching herself up, she reached into thin air and took out a pink-covered book.

"H-here it is," Lyra stuttered as she slid the book across the long table; her head was hung down low, and her face was flushed red in embarrassment.

The Gods picked the book up and flipped through the pages with immense speed. After literally 2 seconds, they finished reading the book, and was looking at Lyra with shinning eyes.

"This is genius! Why didn't you tell us of this before?"

By now, Lyra's embarrassment was replaced with bafflement. "Y-you liked it?"

"Of course! Up until now, all we've done was action, adventure, and 'isekai'. Your 'romance-plus-transmigration' would be a nice change of pace. Plus, we just need to tweak the current setting a bit for it to work. I'm sure the Council will love this!"

Lyra regained her confidence and discussed with the Gods almost enthusiastically about what to do. Eventually, they finished with their discussion, and Lyra cleared her throat to make an official announcement.

"I hereby proclaim the new narrative! Let the Holy storms guide the way of she who will romance the leads!"

As soon as Lyra finished her words, the pink book levitated into the air and disappeared in a torrent of Lightning. Seeing that it was a success, Lyra fell back into her chair and chuckled, "If we do this right, then we will only need to erase the consciousness of one person." 

"What about the villainess?" A God asked. "We haven't discussed about her. Who will take her role?"

Lyra thought for a bit before she grinned. "Don't we already have a perfect candidate? Someone beautiful, powerful, have a lot of political power, yet very cruel at the same time."

Hearing this, the other Gods widened their eyes in realization. "Of course! Why didn't we think of this before!"

"Glad you can understand so quickly. Oh, and don't change the Stone of Prophecy."

"Why?"

"I figured that the setting with work best that way."

"Got it."

With everything figured out, Lyra ordered the Gods to do their part. Soon, she was the only one left in the room. Heaving a tired sigh, she muttered.

"Everything should go to plans this time... unless Theodore... or his children decide to do something stupid again."
