"That can't be Lucas?" asked Jane in a shaky voice.

What's going on? Does she know this boy or something?

"Jane, are you guys acquaintances or something?" I asked immediately.

But Jane was still completely in shock. She just couldn't understand what was happening. I've never seen her so upset.

"You bastard, what did you do?!"

"Hahaha, so you recognized him. How does it feel to see a dead family member after such a long time again?" the council member mockingly said.

What, he's supposed to be related to Jane? That creepy boy there? There are some similarities for example the blond hair but it can't be. Jane's whole family is dead. This guy can't be her family. But suddenly, I felt a tremendous lust for murder from Jane that frightened even me.

"I warn you, if that really is Lucas, I will KILL you!"

Only by the sheer murderousness that she radiated I knew she was completely serious. The look in her eyes explained everything. She would kill him come what may. This man would die at the hands of Jane!

"Wow, that scares the hell out of me. I commend your courage, woman. But this is your little brother, Theo Handerson's son, Lucas Handerson."

This boy is Jane's little brother! What the hell is going on here? I thought Jane's whole family died. They were killed by Theo Handerson the scientist, and he was killed by me. I had long suspected that Jane was the daughter of Theo Handerson, this was also confirmed when she mentioned her last name for the first time.

But as it turned out, he was only manipulated by the council leader and was no longer himself. But that this councilman now also manipulated Jane's little brother was unforgivable!

The scientist himself said that he was one of his latest inventions. That only means that he experimented with her brother's corpse and turned him into one of his puppets!

I saw how she clenched her sword so hard that her fist started bleeding. Jane was doing everything she could to suppress her emotions right now. It seemed like she was waiting. Waiting until she had a real answer. What she would do after that, even I don't want to imagine.

"Because I'm such a good person, I'll tell you. After Handerson experimented on him, you thought he was dead, but he wasn't. He had barely survived. But this self-healing process consumed half of my cosmo energy. Just a moment ago I had replenished it! I absolutely can't be hit by this attack again.

Standing up, I looked around, only to see Jane fighting her brother. But it was much too one-sided. Lucas just beat the crap out of her. Jane could only try to fight back, but Lucas punched her as if she were his punching bag.

"Lucas, that's not you! Don't you recognize me? I am your only sister, I'm Jane!" Jane tried to talk to him but to no avail. Lucas just went on emotionlessly.

"You don't even have to try," the councilman spoke to Jane, "He has no emotions anymore. He is just my faithful slave!"

Although I did not want to believe it, what he said was true. This person really seemed to have no emotions left. However, Jane could not accept this just like that.

Since I can not let Jane continue to fight alone, I participated in the fight. I created ice spikes around Lucas to separate Jane from him. These also hit him, but instead of Jane backing off, she yelled at me.
