The absolute evil. The worst person in the whole world. A person without feelings. He was all that. The man who controlled the council and brought ruin to Jane's whole family. The man who brought me into this world. Our enemy!

Jane slowly stopped crying, but I didn't know if that was a good thing. It seemed as if she started to suppress her feelings and lock them away. If she does this, feelings of revenge will be her only source of energy.

Exactly what I thought happened. Jane completely succumbed to revenge. Her hatred was the only thing that kept her from collapsing. I knew that feeling all too well.

Nevertheless, our current situation was an exception. No matter how strong we might be, we had no chance against him. I realized this when fighting against him. If we fought against him, we would die. That was a fact.

That meant the only solution was to escape. We had to escape to have a chance to defeat him at some point in the future.

"Don't even think about escaping. I will not let you go!"

Once again it seemed as if he had read my thoughts. I was starting to really believe that he could. That would not even surprise me anymore.

After he said this, someone appeared in front of him. It was a man with short black hair and a defined physique. He was wearing the same black attire as Lucas, but the most striking thing was that he had the same aura as Lucas. Immediately I knew he was also a cyborg.

"Jane, answer me! I know you want revenge but now is not the time. If it goes on like this we will die!"

"Jane, watch out!"

But Jane did not move. Damn it, does she want to die? Instead of dodging the beam, she held her sword against it and tried to stop it that way. What the hell was she planning? But it was too late. The purple beam caught her completely.

That was what I thought, but Jane was unharmed! The attack was absorbed by her sword and her sword started to glow purple. Totally surprised, I just looked at her.
