Chapter 3: [3] Going to the village!

I stay up during the night carving utensil with my teeth. It was so hard to do since im so big. 

*Whew. It finally done*

I look at the awful set of utensil and pot. I look at Mizi sleeping soundly in her new house. I smile and went to the forest to do my night hunting monster. I got total of 231 Gold from my hunt.

* Back to Mizi*

Mizi was woken up by my loud crunching some meat and bone. She came outside to see me just eating a Hound meat raw.

"Diles!" Mizi shouted from her house. Mizi sprinted toward me.

I look back at her to see she running with her 2 little feet. Mizi stopped next to me.

"Isn't that disgusting? You are even eating the gut and the blood!"

*Not really. I am used to eating raw meat after all*

"But still! I will cook you something! Just stop eating those disgusting monster meat"

She is so stubborn of not allowing to eat the monster meat. I guess she is still young and all.

*Huh fine. Cook me something that is delicious than the current one im eating*

"Im sure you will be impressed by my cooking!"

Mizi was confident in her own word when she said it. I sigh and followed her back to my home. She began using the tool that i carved and utensil. She prepared a fresh meat with some greenery from this world. Inhabitant from this world sure are skill in finding anything edible. 

She began by putting the meat into a very big pot and began stirring it. She added some extra greenery and spice into it. Herb, Mushroom, Potato looking thing was mixed together to create a wonderful aroma.

The meat was fully cooked to perfection as she put it infront of me.

*So it is finished Mizi?*

"Yes it finished! Try it out! It my special dishes that i copied from my mother"

*I guess i have no choice then* 

I lifted the plate with my big mouth and launched it to the sky into my mouth to swallow the food along with the wooden plate. 

Mizi look at me dumbfounded to just eat the whole plate aswell. It was understandable. I look pretty weird eating the plate along with the food.

The food has almost the same taste as the food from my world. It was clearly better better than the raw one. 

Mizi look at me intensely waiting for my judgment. I finally gave my statement after she keep looking at me with those puppy eye.

*It very delicious. I still prefer raw meat due to not require alot of time. Your cooking was good Mizi.*

Mizi was clearly sadden when i said i prefer eating raw meat than cooked meat. But she was happy regardless when i appraise her cooking.

Mizi goes back to her house to sleep in. As i sleep outside with my big body not fitting. I sleep soundly like i was in a dream and my consciousness drift apart and finally i sleep.

The next morning arrive with sunshine shine in my scales. I look around to see Mizi sleeping next to me! 

*Mizi wake up!*

Mizi was waken up by my voice very surprised.

"Huh Diles?"

Mizi look around to see that she was sleeping on my body the whole time. Mizi get up 

"Ah im sorry for sleeping on you!"

Mizi apologize with her head down.

*No no. It fine*

Now that i think about it. I haven't learned much about the outside world. I live in the forest for my whole life right now. So i asked Mizi about it.

*Mizi. Is there any village nearby?*

"Village? There is a village nearby. I think it called the Ashloss Village."

*Ah i see.*

"Anyway Diles. Why do you wanna go to a village?"

*Hmm. Im just curious really about the outside world*

"Ah. How about i guide you there? I was really popular with the resident living there. Now the problem is your size. Your size is literally the size of the biggest house inside the village!"

*Ah. Let's me figure it out"

Ah my size. It true if i think about it. I think my body is even bigger than the apartment where i live. Lets me see if i can search it in the System Shop?

Gosh these skill are pretty expensive. I better hunt more monster after this. So i purchase the Heal and Size control skill and spend some of the gold to mana crystal D. Making me level 19 now. My stats rose up by alot when i used to be level 1. 

*I got my answer. Let's me try it first*

"Okay"

A bright light appeared on my body as i become smaller and smaller every second. Until i was the size of a lizard. 

*This should work now*

Mizi look at me with those cute eye.

"KYAAK. So cute!" 

Mizi hugged my tiny body.

*Ah stop it Mizi!*

"Sorry! You just so cute i can't control myself" 

Although my body is smaller now. My stat and level is still the same as ever. I climb on her shoulder. 

*Now lead the way!*

"Yes Master!"

Mizi get out of the forest and began walking the road to the village. I defeated some monster on the way using my mana slash at them injuring them badly and Mizi take the final blow to gain some experience for her talent to unlock. Mizi feed all the mana crystal to me. The mana crystal crumble easily from my strength and absorbed. The hardness is like a rock candy.

After few more hound. Mizi finally reached level 5 and unlocked her talent. Which is beast taming, summoning magic and magic sword. 

"Whoa master! I unlocked a skill!"

*Can you use it then?*

"My mother used to teach me about summoning magic. Let's me try to mimic my mother"

Mizi open her hand and began chanting the magic. A light surround her hand as a being start to appear on her arm. And it a slime!

"Master! i did it!"

*That was nice*

Mizi look at the bouncing slime at her hand happily. Eventually the slime disappear due to a time limit.

"Aw. It was so cute."

*Im sure you will get better at using it*

" Now let's me try the tamer skill!"

Mizi brought her hand to me.

"Tamer!"

I nod against the request and my name appeared on Mizi Monster list.

Mizi was jumping happily after i accept her tamer request. After that Mizi now tried her 3rd skill. The magic sword

" What is this magic sword skill? Could this be a skill where i need to put my mana into?"

*Try focus on putting your mana on your hand and imagine a long sword in front of you.*

Mizi focus her mana on her hand until a blue long sword appeared on her hand.

"This is a magic sword?"

Mizi approach a hound and began moving toward it. The hound was not paying attention to Mizi coming after the hound. Until it was too late as it was slice in 2. Dying immediately.

"How is this so powerful?"

Mizi was get rid of her sweat. And we finally arrive at the village. A guard saw us and ask some question.

"Halt! Who are you?"

"My name is Mizi."

The guard was surprised a bit.

"Ah Mizi! We miss you so much. What bring you here? And where did your mother go?"

Mizi became sad instantly.

"My mother was killed by a slave trader."

The guard was horrified to hear the new.

"Im sorry to hear that. I shouldn't have said it"

"No it fine. It was not your fault"

The guard gave Mizi a head patt. And the guard pointed at me sitting in the shoulder.

"And what is this creature?"

"Ahh. This is a monster i tamed! I became a beast tamer"

Obviously i tell her to not reveal my identity yet or i will be classified as a High rank monster.

"Ah i see" The guard nodded his head and Let's us into the Village.

The scenery was filled with people and kid playing around everywhere. It was a active scene. With people going on with their routine. 

"Master. Where do you wanna go now?"

*Is there any place you wanna recommend. I think it better for us to rest first.*

"Ah i know. I have a friend who has a inn nearby."

Mizi began walking through the crowd. The vendor recognize her and after telling them her sad story. Most of them gave free stuff including fruit, some money, and food.

Mizi wave goodbye at the good vendor as she goes to her friend Inn.

We finally arrived at the big inn. It was packed with adventurer and people. Mizi friend spotted us and run to us.

"Mizi! Welcome back. What bring you here?"

"Hi Leandra! I need a place to stay. Is there any room available?"

"Hmm. Our inn has been busy lately. The customer began pouring in after the neighbouring village was attack by the demon"

"But don't worry! As your friend. My parent has prepared a room just for you!"

"Ah thank you."

Leandra saw me and began to look at me with curious eye.

"So who is this cute creature?"

Mizi looked at me and said

"Ah this is a beast i tamed! I recently got my skill today. His name is Diles"

Mizi bring her hand to me and i walk toward Leandra. Leandra patted my little head. I roar at her cutely.

"Wow the creature is so cute! I wanna hug it so badly. But ah i don't have time right now. So let's me lead you to the room"

Mizi friend bring us to our room after a long walk. 

"Enjoy your stay!" 

I sensed a ominous energy emerging from Leandra back as she left. The energy was the death waiting for the opportunity.

*Did you saw Leandra acting weird lately?*

" Now that i think about it. She was acting weird when she was 6. Why did you asked?"

*I sensed a ominous energy from your friend. I think she could die in any day now.*

Mizi was horrified to hear me said that her friend could die right now. Mizi stared in believe and ask me again the 2nd time.

"No way, Is this true?"

*Unfortunately it is true. The energy likely appeared when Leandra were still young*

"But why did she need to hide it from me!"

Mizi was tearing up.

*I think she don't want to make you sad*

But still. Mizi stop for a second and grabbed me. 

"Are you able to heal my friend? Please i begging you. I don't want to lose Leandra."

Mizi was desperate for me to heal her. Even i don't know if my skill are able to.

*Im not sure about my skill. But i will try*

Mizi was relieved to see i willing to heal her friend.

"Thank you!"

*Let's wait until Leandra finished with her work*

"Okay" 

After some time. The inn finally close and Mizi confront Leandra on her way.

"Leandra. Can you stop hiding it from me now?"

Leandra was surprised to see that Mizi found about her secret. Leandra was speechless.

"I guess i can't hide it anymore."

Leandra turn back and Reveal her infection on her back. It was a horrifying sight. Mizi was scared to see her friend was hiding this for her whole life.

*This is horrifying!*

"I got this when i was bitten by venomous snake"

"Is there really no way to treat this?"

"Unfortunately only Healing can get rid of it. The examiner once said i will die before i age up to 10. And look where i am now. I managed to shock the examiner that i live for 7 year then the expected time of 4 year. We cannot get heal because the cost is too expensive. As people with healing power rarely appeared in our village. Most of the dispatched healer reside in the capital."

Leandra was really sad.

*I think i can heal her. Bring me closer to her*

 Mizi nod and bring me to Leandra.

"Diles? Do you perhaps want to make me happy before i die with Diles?"

"No not that. He will heal you!"

"Is that even possible?"

"I believe in Diles!"

Leandra turn back to show her infected back again after seeing Mizi determination on her eye.

I began walking toward her back and open my mouth to cast a healing spell toward her back. I telepath to her mind

*Now girl. Close your eye and feel it*

Leandra was surprised to hear a voice in her head. She decided to ignore it and closed her eye. Until a green light started to appear on the infected back. The wound started to disappear in second. Mizi was happy to see it gone. 

Leandra look at the mirror and show her back. To her surprise the wound disappear! Leandra face became happy. 

"Thank you so much Mizi!"

"No no. Say thank you to Diles."

Leandra look at me. and began bowing

"Thank you so much Diles!"

*No proble-

Leandra jump to grab me from Mizi grasp and hugged my tiny body tightly.

*I can't breath!*

"Stop it Leandra! He gonna suffocated!"

I drop to the floor pass out. They both panic very hard.

"Kyaak! What have you done!"

"Im so sorry!"

They bring me to the bed after that. 

That was pretty embarrassing for me to pass out from a hug.
