The two transcendental beings held out their hands toward the void as a golden aura bloomed from their whole existence.

‘Crack’

A small cut appeared in space while a blazing rune and an ordinary sword came out of it.

Both the rewards flew in front of Lucas and the Kadija clansmen.

“Take it and put it close to your Unique Loop.”

Al’Zaroth said to the two challengers.

Lucas grabbed the sword and placed its hilt close to his wrist.

The unnatural being next to Selena also took the rune and got consumed by the Loop.

‘It disappeared?’

Lucas was befuddled for a moment.

“Now, check your Status and verify it.”

The other guide told the both of them.

Two ancient papers materialized out of nowhere as the two mortals seized them quickly.

Lucas was surprised that his weapon had Status variables as well.

“If you want your weapon to materialize, just think for it to appear and it will show up.”

Al’Zaroth suggested to Lucas with a smile.

Then, the previous sword came out of nowhere and was equipped in the right hand of the human.

‘Swish’

A sudden hot sensation was felt next to Lucas.

In their surroundings, the member of the Kadija clan had his whole body burning.

“Hey! Stop using your skill here. Test it later.”

Selena frowned and berated the other challenger.

“My excuses. I didn’t expect that the skill would be that strong. I should indeed experiment later.”

The Kadija member stared hungrily at Lucas and the sword.

‘This guy should have gotten something that has similar value to my weapon.’

Lucas didn’t mind the intense gaze given to him.

“Both of you should be satisfied with your reward now. Let’s proceed to the next stage.”

The male guide spoke to them once more.

“Ah! There’s no more time. See you later, Zar!”

Selene waved at his fellow guide and vanished along with the Kadija clansmen.

‘Bzzzt’

In a flash, Al’Zaroth and the human also disappeared from the surrounding space.

Silence returned to the empty void.

Lucas looked at the place he was teleported to.

He was finally getting used to getting transported as he didn’t close his eyes in panic anymore.

The view in front of him was similar to the tutorial, a massive open area except without the fountain.

Close to them, there was a jungle, not a forest.

Surrounded by an overgrown mass of vegetation and similar trees with obsidian leaves, there were some familiar and unfamiliar humans in the area.

The humans were blabbering nonstop as they discussed the precedent events.

They stopped talking when they saw the supernatural being floating above the sky.

All of them looked grim as they stared at the guide.

“Everyone, welcome to Firalos. The world where all of you will be taking the first challenge.”

Al’Zaroth saw the gazes of the mortals and continued to talk.

“The world of Firalos is filled with immense danger. Uncomparable to the previous tutorial everyone here experienced. Presently, we are located in the outer areas of Firalos.”

The guide waved his hand as uncountable necklaces with small Loops flew to each human.

“Touch the small Loop on the necklace and think of ‘Authority’ in your head.”

Everyone followed the words of this supernatural existence including Lucas.

A transparent screen appeared in front of them with black and white words written on it.

“Tap the ‘Shop’ option on your screen.”

Lucas and the other humans did as they were told.

Steel Spear: A normal spear made with steel. It can only damage average monsters.

“These are weapons!”

“Finally we can have something to use.”

“Woah! A firearm and even a sniper rifle.”

“Hand grenades are also available?”

The humans exclaimed as they currently looked like they were given hope.

“Now, now. Continue scrolling down and see.”

Al’Zaroth suggested from above them.

Lucas was swiping down the transparent screen as the weapons gradually disappeared while new items replaced them with ridiculous costs.

Longevity Crystal: Increases lifespan by 100 years.

Cost: 10000 Points

His eyes shined when he read the description of this item but then suddenly...

Returning Orb: Magical item that contains mana with space law. This orb will transport your body to its homeworld.

Cost: 100000 Points

“Huh? So, we can go back to Earth?”

Lucas said in a whisper while the surroundings went into a frenzy.

“Returning Orb?!”

“That’s the thing I was looking for.”

“Finally, we can return to our world.”

“Mommy, we can go back!”

The mortals went crazed upon learning the existence of this item.

Gazing at this from the air, Al’Zaroth spoke in turn.

“Everyone, calm down. Do you even understand how many points are needed for that item? Also, do you even know how to get points?”

The masses were hushed by his words which made them return to face reality.

The guide continued to talk seeing their silence.

“Points are something given when one has killed a monster, passed one of the challenges, or achieved a unique feat.” 

Al’Zaroth gave the information to the humans.

“Does that mean we can only kill monsters to get points at the moment?”

An old man raised his head and asked the being.

“Yes, or you can get recognition from the cycle for a special accomplishment.”

The guide responded to the human and turned his head to Lucas with anticipating eyes.

“But, what exactly is that unique feat?”

A female asked in consecutive.

“Hmm... I am not sure as it is the cycle that decides. Even though I said unique, it is close to impossible to achieve. So, forget what I said.”

‘Fuck! In the end, we have to fight monsters.’

Some of the humans complained in their heads.

“Excuse me, but where are the other humans?”

A bald old man asked the floating being.

“Humanity is separated in the outer parts of Firalos. My clones are handling them as we speak. This world is two times bigger than your planet and 50% of it is part of the outer areas.”

The humans pondered carefully about his words.

No one asked any more questions to the guide.

“Anyways. Congratulations once again to everyone for surviving the tutorial. As of now, 7,142,987,341 humans are partaking in the first challenge. 312,601,921 have died or have been disqualified.”

Everyone’s expressions became serious when they heard the number of people dead or disqualified.

“For the first challenge, survive for 180 days and a portal will appear in the center of Firalos for the second challenge. I wish everyone good luck.”

With those final words, Al’Zaroth vanished from everyone’s eyes as the various panicked voices came back to the surroundings.

“Hey! Lucas! Is that you?”

Kelvin came running at Lucas along with James.

“I only realized you were there when the guide stared in your direction.”

James spoke in turn with an excited tone.

“Where are the others? Are they with you or?

Lucas questioned the two policemen while looking around them with hundreds of other humans.

“They separated from us. No one felt safe anymore when they realized Kelvin ran out of bullets.”

James said with an angry expression.

“It’s fine. Anyways, what do you plan to do now?”

The other policeman with the firearm tapped his friend's shoulder and turned to Lucas.

“I will explore this place and move to the center.”

Lucas said to the man and pointed toward the jungle just a few meters close to them.

“Let’s go together. It should be safer than going alone, right?”

Kelvin suggested to Lucas hopingly.

“That’s okay for me. But, only you two.”

The two policemen were surprised and happy at his response.

They thought Lucas would surely reject them.

“Then, we should move out now.”

Lucas proposed to the two men and looked at the other humans.

‘Tsk. Most of these guys perhaps experienced something similar in the tutorial. Look at them.’

The humans in the area had wary looks as if they have been betrayed in the past or something.

‘Some here have probably killed fellow humans and took their Loops. Sadly, there’s no way to tell at all.’

He shook his head and walked away from the open area along with the two policemen.
