Shortly after finishing our ice cream, we all went back to the dorms and slept.

As always, Rio and I woke up early, did our stamina training, showered, got dressed, and then went to class.

Although me and Rio both have ‘Real Combat’ class today, we had different teachers. If I had to assume I’d guess eventually the classes would fight each other.

“Good luck today, Leo!”

“You too.”

After entering the classroom, I looked around and there were a lot of people. Way more than my body training class. There was a little table with a bunch of blue rags on it, it seemed like everyone was wearing it, so I put it on as well. I could see a few familiar faces, Ally, Chloe, Violet, they were all people from Class C.

They were all standing alone though, it didn’t look like they were friends.

I decided to go up to Ally and give her a wave.

“Hey.”

“Hello.”

I still wasn’t good at conversation, but it seemed like she wasn’t either. So, we both just kind’ve stood there in silence.

A few minutes later the teacher came in.

“Good morning, everybody.”

“As you know this is real combat class.”

“And real combat, can start at any moment.”

“So, survive.”

All of a sudden, there was a bunch of people wearing red rags and wielding wooden weapons charging us.

“What!?”

“Huh!?”

“That’s too sudden!”

It really was sudden, I figured, that eventually the classes would face each other, I just didn’t know it’d be immediately.

Welp, most of us were weaponless, and the weapons were behind the enemies. There wasn’t really much we could do.

“Everyone! Fall back! Group up!”

Someone tried to take command, though unsuccessfully.

In a moment the one who tried to take command had his blue rag ripped from him and he disappeared.

I looked at the battlefield but didn’t notice anyone I knew, did Rio have a different teacher?

Suddenly, the girl besides me, Ally, had been thrown a spear which she picked up.

Who threw that? I looked around but couldn’t see anyone.

Ally got into a stance and stood still for a dozen seconds; the people who got close to us were getting eliminated from an archer.

The only problem was, I couldn’t tell where this archer was.

“Charge! The enemies are few!”

Someone from the red side yelled.

Looking around, there were only a few of us left, I could only count about 7 of us against their 20-ish. Though, counting the archer I couldn’t see probably 8 of us.

Ally opened her eyes and pierced.

The strength of her pierce caused massive wind to extrude, even my hair flew up a little bit and I was on her side.

I had thought that would easily take out a few of their team, but it didn’t. In front of Ally was someone with a big shield. He had taken Ally’s pierce and blocked it completely.

“We found their archer! Charge!”

I could tell that a lot of them were nervous, almost everyone on the field was. Except for Ally, that guy with the shield, and probably the archer. Of course, I wasn’t as well, my ‘Peace Of Mind’ skill was in full effect.

I wasn’t making any moves, mostly for the fact I didn’t think we could win. But looking at our team once more the few people left seemed to still have their eyes full of spirit.

Everyone had a weapon except for me at that point.

Hm... I guess I’ll at least try then...

Now by no means was I good at fighting, or even strategy, everything I knew shouldn’t have been useful in a regular class. All I could do was fight dirty. But since this was ‘Real Combat’ class, I’m sure that I could be useful then.

I scanned the field before finding a wide-open space towards the right, I’d easily be able to grab a sword.

I took a deep breath and started to run.

At the same time there was someone who suddenly appeared behind the guy with the shield, it was Violet, she held 2 small wooden daggers and tried to rip his rag off.

“Behind you! Kane!”

“Oh no you don’t!”

The guy with the shield quickly turned around but there was no one there.

Suddenly, Ally had pierced again, this time directly hitting Kane’s back and eliminating him.

Brutal... Isn’t this just a test? I thought.

I reached the weapon stand and took 2 swords, I also took 2 spears and hung them on my back.

It didn’t look like anyone was looking at me, or even noticed me. I had to think about my next move from there.

That guy in the back is commanding everyone... Who is he?

Jinn Klen – 17

Skills – Map

Talents – Strategy

Stats: D-

Strength: F+

Agility: D-

Dexterity:  D

Stamina: D-

Mana:  F

Jinn Klen? Who is that? I’ve never written about him, ‘Map’ and ‘Strategy’ those seemed pretty good. I would have for sure written about someone that useful for the war later.

Agh, I’ll think about this later, I don’t have time right now.

Since he seemed to be the leader, that meant removing him would basically give us the win.

But do I announce it to everyone, or just go attack him alone... Aghh, having that strategy talent would be useful right now, I'm not smart enough for this.

Suddenly someone appeared next to me.

“Are you going to attack?”

Looking to my left, it was Violet.

Where’d she come from? She just appeared out of nowhere like she teleported...

“That guy in the middle is the leader.”

“If we eliminate him then we can win.”

“All we need to do is kill- eliminate him?”

Did she just say kill?

“Yeah.”

“Follow me.”

She held my arm and started to lead me into the crowd of enemies.
