Slowly opening my eyes I stretched my arms into the air.

A smile on my face as I did so.

Last night with Margret helped me out a lot more than I thought. It's like almost all the stress and anxiety I was feeling about my situation just melted away.

Finishing up my stretching I moved to wake up Margret only to find her gone from the bed.

"Right, she runs this place." I said to myself.

So of course she needs to get up early to deal with a bunch of things like the other customers, food, etc..

Remembering Margret's overall job I got up from my bed. Then as soon as I did so I noticed a tray of food sitting on my desk.

Different from the one Margret brought me last night, which began our night of passion, this tray contains a loaf of bread, a bowl of soup, and a glass of milk. Along with a slip of paper.

Moving over to my desk I looked at the slip of paper and read it.

[Dear Aelion, this is your morning meal. Hope you enjoy it. PS: I really enjoyed last night and wouldn't mind doing it again. Margret.]

Seeing this I smiled.

Well if Margret is willing I'll definitely take her up on her offer.

*Grrr!*

Hearing my stomach grumble I stopped thinking about sex and instead focused my attention on the food in front of me. Seeing some light steam wafting off the top of the soup I knew that means it's still hot.

And as my mother always said, eat it while its hot.

So I quickly put on my clothes, sat down in the chair, and then said a quick blessing over the food before digging in.

The moment I took my first bite I couldn't stop myself from grinning.

Since this stuff is really good.

Before I knew it I finished it all off, and left nothing behind.

Leaning back in my chair I put a satisfied smile on my face.

I then waited a few moments before standing up and grabbing my room key.

Once I did I exited the room, locking the door behind me.

I then headed downstairs. Finding Margret standing behind the welcome counter a smile on her face.

"Hello Aelion." Margret said.

"Hello." I replied back.

"Heading out are we?" Margret asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, to the guild." I told her.

"Well then see you later." She said.

"Yeah, you too." I said. "Also thanks for the food, it was really good. Before I knew it I finished it all off."

"Ah, I'm glad." Margret said. "Also you needed too, considering how much energy you used up last night." She said. Putting a satisfied smile on her face as she did so.

"Right. Again thanks, and see you later." I said.

I then left before Margret could say anything else.

In no time at all I arrived at the guild, and when I do so I spotted May at the front counter and immediately walked up to her.

"Good morning May." I said.

"Oh, good morning Aelion. Here to speak with the master again?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Well then go right on up." May said.

"Thanks." I told her.

I then headed up to Igraine's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in." She said.

As soon as she did so I entered, closing the door behind me.

"Aelion, good morning." Igraine said.

"The same to you." I told her. Taking a seat on one of the couches like I did yesterday.

But as I did so Igraine stared a me for several seconds.

She then put a knowing smirk on her face.

"Looks like someone had a rather enjoyable night." Igraine playfully spoke.

"You could say that." I mused. Deciding to play along.

"Oh no need to be shy Aelion." Igraine said. "I can tell from how you are glowing. Margret took care of you didn't she?"

"Is that the reason you recommended the Red Rover as a place for me to stay then?" I asked. "Did you know something like that was going to happen between me and Margret?"

"To both questions no." Igraine said. "The reason I recommended the Red Rover is truly because I knew you needed a place to stay. As for what happened between you and Margret, I had no idea she would do that. But you must've really made quite the impression on her if she did."

"Please explain?" I asked. Since I feel like I'm missing something here.

"Thing is I've sent other players to stay at Margret's inn when I first meet them." Igraine told me. "Most of them are like you, scared and confused with no idea what to do next. And Margret understands this a lot better than most, so I send you guys to her inn to see if she can help you in any way. Sometimes it's just a shoulder to cry on, sometimes people just want to vent their worries and frustrations out, and others times its like in your case. Where Margret really takes a shine to you and gives you a rather enjoyable experience. But just to be clear, no one forces her to do this. She does it of her own free will."

"She told me that last night." I said. "So is Margret a player?" I asked.

Since I didn't use {Appraisal} on her given that I was "pre-occupied" with other thoughts.

Igraine shook her head. "No, Margret is not a player. But her father was. He was actually the one that founded the Red Rover Inn and does what Margret does in helping players try and come to terms with being in this world. He is actually the person I told you about who helped me all those years ago." She revealed.

"Wow, he sounds like a pretty cool man." I said.

"He was." Igraine said.

"Was?"

"He passed five years ago." She revealed.

"Oh, sorry." I said.

"No, it's fine." Igraine said.

I simply nodded my head at her words.

"So, I've come to a decision about becoming an adventurer. I'm in." I said.

"Great." Igraine said.

She then reached inside of her desk and brought over a form to me, along with a pencil.

"The process of registration is really is. Just fill out this form." She explained.

Nodding I took the form and pencil from Igraine.

I then looked the former over.

Name:

Age:

Race:

Main Class:

Sub-class: ]

Seeing how simple the form is I quickly filled it out. Listing my name, my race, both my classes, and my age. Which I put as 21 years old since that's how old I was in my last life before coming here.

And on the subject of age, as soon I placed mine on the form a thought ran through my mind.

"Hey Igraine, how do people of different races age in this world?" I asked.

Since back in the game, the lore described the races of Ur aging at different rates.

Humans live from `100 to 120 years.

Dwarves live from 300 to 350 years.

Beast-kin live up to 500 years.

While elves are the longest living race, their lifespans being up to 1,000 years.

The same applies to dark elves in that regard, so I can potentially live to be 1,000 years old.

"The people here age the same as described in the games lore back in the old world." Igraine explained to me.

So now I know I can live for 1,000 years.

Which is not bad at all.

Nodding at Igraine's words I double-checked to make sure everything is filled out properly on my form. Once I did so I moved over to Igraine and handed her the form and the pencil back.

Taking both Igraine glanced over my application form before slightly nodding her head.

"Ok, everything looks in order." She said. "Now all that's left is to have this processed and viola, your officially a recognized adventurer." She explained.

I nodded my head.

As I did so Igraine tapped a crystal orb sitting atop her desk and then it glowed in the next second. When it did so I heard May's voice coming from it.

"Yes master, what do you need?" May asked.

"Aelion just finished filling out an application form in my office. I need you to come process it and collect it." Igraine quickly explained.

"Right away." May answered.

"Thank you May, reliable as always." Igraine said.

She then tapped the crystal ball again and the light faded, canceling the connection.

"Magic orbs, great for communication purposes whether long-range or short-ranges." Igraine explained.

Since she saw me staring at the crystal orb.

"I see." I said. "They never had anything like that in the game."

"Yes." Igraine added. "They didn't. But in this world it's actually commonplace." She said.

Just as she did so we heard a knock on the door.

"It's May, may I come in?" May asked.

"Yes." Igraine answered.

May then stepped inside.

Seeing Igraine holding out the form in her direction May came to quickly collect it and then moved to leave.

Only to stop in her tracks when Igraine spoke up.

"Oh May one more thing. Make Aelion a C-rank." She said.

"Yes." May answered.

She then left the room, closing the door.

As she did so I looked at Igraine.

"C-rank?" I questioned.

"Right, you don't know much about the Adventurer's guild or adventurer's in general. So while your registration is being completed let's take care of that." Igraine said.

I nodded.

Once I did the two of us moved over to the couches and Igraine started explained to me about the Adventurer's Guild and adventurers in detail.
