Chapter 22: Soul Energy.

 

The soul is divided into two parts: the soul consciousness for reincarnation and the soul energy. What my body absorbs is soul energy. Because of this drawback, I rarely absorbed the soul of my enemy in my previous life. Soul energy has the potential to corrupt my soul, turning me into a madman addicted to consuming soul energy if I am not careful.

Sara appears to be confident fighting in close range. The weakness of this type of fighting is that she cannot win solely on brute force. This is an era of firearms and advanced weaponry, unless she has a battle suit. While considering her next training.

 

Sara looks depressed after waking up. ‘I am stupid, why I am fainted in last minute.’ She has decided to fight alongside him; she doesn’t know why. Maybe because she has no way to go.

 

“Sara.”

 

Hearing her name, she quickly kneels. “Please don’t kick me out, I don't have anywhere to go.”

 

“Don’t worry I won’t, even if you are begging me to. You need to learn how to use a firearm, I will tell Liam later.”

 

“Yes, I promised not to disappoint you.

 

“Let’s go, there are a few more people we need to kill.”

 

Sara stood up “Yes, sir.”

“Ask them to search for recent terrorist attack.”

 

“Brother, it’s impossible to find them each human territory have terrorist attack each year. We also don’t know if the brother's ex-lover lives in human or other species territory.” 

 

Edgar gives up after some thought. “Forget about it; it's not our problem.”

 

“You are right brother; I am sure when the time comes. We will see big brother illegitimate child.”

“Where is the other?”

 

“They are still thinking about it.”

 

“Why are they afraid of a young kid, we can just send people to kill him.”

 

“Don’t be in a rush, do you forget we tried to kill Madam Daisy in the past and all of them failed.”

 

“Don’t worry, according to my man. The people that protected her in the dark have vanished.”

 

“What really?”

 

“If that was true, we can make a plan. If he dies there is no one to inherit the company.”

 

“How is Madam Daisy secretary, have you managed to contact her?”

 

“No, she has been missing since Mr. Levi took over the company.”

 

“Do you think this has something to do with Mr. Levi?”

 

“I don’t know, but it’s better to order our man to search for her.”

 

“I agreed.”

Outside the shareholder mansion, I found out they are having a meeting. the shareholders sure are hardworking even at night. “Sara, are you ready?”

 

Beside me is Dara wearing a black hooded with bulletproof vest and human face mask. “Yes, sir.”

 

Wearing black hooded and human face mask, I begin to detect the guard and find a place to enter the mansion. “Les go.”

 

Jumping over the wall, there is nobody around. Sara follows behind him by climbing over the wall.

 

“Go and kill the guards outside.”

 

"Yes, sir." Sara quickly bends her body and moves stealthily. She has honed her abilities through assassin training. The only disadvantage is that she cannot use any assassin's skill because she lacks vital energy. “What happened!” After saying that he also falls down to the ground.

 

Both of their bodies can’t move.

 

“Don’t worry I only used paralyzing poison. You need to answer my question if you want to live.”

 

One of the guards spoke weakly. “cure us or you will die.”

 

Without replying to the guard, a dagger slices the guard's throat and blood begins to flow out from the wound. The guard's eyes went wide because he never thought that he would die.

 

Looking at the next guard. “How about you?”

 

“I speak don’t kill me.”

 

“Okay where is your boss?”

 

After the guard answered, I began asking several more questions and the guard obediently answered. “I am satisfied with your answer.”

 

The guard can feel; his body becoming weaker. “Give me the antidote.”

 

“There is something I want to tell you. I am not using paralyzing poison.”

 

“What?” The guard heart stops working and dies. Transparent energy enters Levi's body from the two corpses.

 

After hiding the two corpses and casting a water magic to clean the floor from the blood. I move toward the room that the shareholders are in.
