Chapter 34: Chapter 33: Price of Freedom. (1)

One week later, Otune Spaceport. Most of the people inside the mansion decided to follow Madam Daisy migrate to another planet. Because they don’t know how long the war will last, Daisy and Levi have prepared everything in Planet Teria.

 

“Mom, you can let go of me now, it’s almost time for your space flight.”

 

Daisy is hugging her son tightly and has not let go for a long time. “Levi, why don't you come with mom, here is dangerous.” Daisy is still in her wheelchair because her leg is still weak.

 

“Mom, I already explained to you why I can’t leave.”

 

“But I will miss you.”

 

“Don’t worry, I will contact you.”

 

After reassuring my mother, she finally boarded the spaceship. Looking at my mother's spaceship that has flown toward space. I am finally relieved. Now there is nothing I need to worry about. Since the mansion has no one, I will be living in a Pharherb building.

 

The experiment is progressing fast, and I'm thinking about asking Sara if she wants to become stronger once the results of the human experiment have been completed. The strange thing is that I used Sara's human experiment data on a woman test subject. I was able to improve it using other experiment data. The strange thing is that she has no side effects like the mutant soldier experiment. However, the other human experiment has a negative side effect.

 

The only difference after examination is that I have sex with her. That means my sperm can help to slow the deterioration. To be more specific, it is my vital energy. More human experiments are needed to find the result.

 

For that woman ever since I have sex with her, she become different and become well behave. Maybe she has developed a Sherlock syndrome where the hostage's development of positive feelings towards the captor.

 

I can't do anything about it, and I need to concentrate on the human experiment as the war approaches.

The humans living outside from the city, begin traveling to the nearer city for protection. The criminals saw this opportunity and began looting the town.

 

Seeing the large migration, President Royce has ordered the citizens not to panic and stay where they are. But citizens ignored the order, because even the politicians, public servants and police have gone to the city.

 

“Hahaha this is fun!”

 

“Quick carry that stuff.”

 

“Why are you in a hurry? It's not like the police are here.”

 

“Kaboom!” one of the buildings exploded.

 

“What happened to the army!”

 

The criminals seeing that begin running, because they thought the military is here. But they are wrong.

 

“Bang!”

 

“Bang!”

 

“Bang!”

 

Multiple bullets pierce the criminal's body trying to escape.

 

“Please don’t shoot, I surrender!” The man stops and raises his hand in the air.

 

“Bang!” The man gets shot on the head and collapses to the ground.

 

“Captain, this area is clear.”

 

“Move forward and kill any human you see.”

 

“Yes, captain.”

 

The storm army wearing a black military uniform is entering human settlement and killing humans. Behind them thousands of tanks have been deployed to protect them. Not all towns are defenseless; there are police that try to protect the human.

 

“Where is the military, we can’t fight tanks!”

 

“Keep firing until the military arrives.”

 

Inside the town there are still humans that can’t escape in time or have nowhere to go if they enter the city and decide to stay put.

 

“Kaboom!” one of the buildings got hit by tank shells.

 

“No, I don’t want to die!” Some of the police become afraid and begin to flee.

 

“Where are you going!”

 

“Captain, should we escape?”

 

The captain went silent and saw the chaos that was happening around him. “You escaped, I will cover you.”

 

After some hesitation, the police nodded and began to flee. He still has a family that he still needs to protect.

 

“Bang!” The police that try to flee look at his chest and see a bullet hole, after that he collapses to the ground dead. 

 

“Damn it, die!” The police captain opens fire at the storm army.

 

But the stur army is wearing a military vest and weapon.

 

The stur speaking their language is giving order. “Shoot them, don't let anyone escape.”

 

“Bang!”

 

“Bang!”

 

The bullets pierce through the police car and kill the police that are using it as a cover.

 

“Ahhh!”

 

“Nooo!”

 

While the storm army is searching the building they find a group of humans hiding inside. “Captain, we found a human including a woman and child.”

 

The group of humans seeing the stur army try to be quiet and hope the stur will spare them.

 

“Kill them.”

 

“Yes, captain.” After receiving the order, the stur aimed their weapon at the human.

 

“Bang!”

 

“Bang!”

 

“Bang!”

 

“Noo!”

 

“Help!”

 

“Ahhhh!”

 

Seeing that a husband and mother try to protect their children. But it was useless, all of them died.

 

Similar scenes happen everywhere in human towns, the stur doesn't even spare women and children. It was a complete genocide.

Kaross city, presidential building.

 

“President the stur terrorist have begun to attack, we need to counterattack!”

Many politicians that decided not to leave Otune voice out their opinion and suggestion.

 

President Royce raises his hand to make all the politicians to be quiet. “General Conor, what is the plan?”

 

The elderly man spoke. “We need to gather all the terrorist in the open before we can obliterate them in one fell swoop.” 

 

“I understand, but the civilian is dying in the masses, we need to send help.”

 

“If we send our army now, they might go into hiding again and it will take us more time to find them.”

 

Suddenly a woman wearing a military uniform entered the meeting room and whispered something to the general Conor. Hearing the woman report the elderly general face begin to change and the room has become colder.

 

After the woman left. President Royce spoke. “What happened?”

 

“The stur terrorist have begun a human genocide.”

 

The politicians' expressions change from pale to rage.

 

“Those bastards, we need to kill them!”

 

“Kill them!”

 

“Kill all the stur!”

 

“Kill them!”

 

“Silent!” President Royce shouted.

 

All politicians who hear that stop shouting. However, their expressions indicate that they are enraged.

 

President Royce is also mad, but for a different reason. If this news comes out, he will lose the support from the people and the next election. “General Conor, order the military to be mobilized immediately.”

 

“Yes, President.” General Conor thought he could delay the time and set up a trap. But the situation right now is dire.

 

President Royce addressed his assistant. “Order an emergency call to all stur union leaders, and I want to know how they are going to handle the stur freedom fighters; if there are none, we will launch a full-fledged war on the stur.”

At one of the human towns that have been taken over by the stur freedom fighter.

 

“Lance, why are you giving an order to kill all the humans!”

 

“Leader, you need to give us the answer now!”

 

“Do you know what you have done!”

 

Several high ranking members of the stur freedom fighter spoke. After everyone has finished talking.

 

Lance looked at the face of his comrades and spoke in a calm manner. “This is the price of freedom.”

 

After a long silence. One-man laugh follows with other people. “Hahaha!”

 

“hahaha!”

 

“Lance, are you trying to make a joke!”

 

After the people finished laughing one of the stars looked at Lance's face and spoke. “I understand, but what is the use if we all are dead. The human will not let the stur freedom fighter live after this incident.”

 

“We still have a chase to live.”

 

“How?”

 

“By forcing the stur unions to war.”

 

“Impossible that a bunch of old fogey leaders will not join us.”

 

“I am already prepared for that.”

 

One of the stur realizes something and becomes panicked. “Lance, what have you done!”

 

“You'll find out soon.” Lance continued to speak calmly. But everyone around him knows that when he is calm, something bad is about to happen.

A group of human military aircrafts is flying above the cloud, inside the aircraft not a human pilot but a stur.  

 

“All Pilots, I know what we are doing is a sin, but with our sacrifice the next generation will have freedom!”

 

“For freedom!”

 

“Freedom!”

 

The human military aircrafts come out from the cloud and head to stur capital city.

 

Stur capital city is calm, although most of them know about the war. It involved the human and stur freedom fighters, not them. Suddenly one of the civilians saw something in the sky, after that more of them saw an aircraft heading to the city.

 

“Do we have an aircraft parade today?”

 

“I don’t think so, maybe someone important is heading here.”

 

One of the citizens recognized the aircraft and began shouting. “Everyone quickly hides that it is a human military aircraft.”

 

Hearing that the stur citizen remembers something that happened in the past and begins to panic.

 

“Run!”

 

“Quick call the police and military!”

 

The city begins to sound its alarm and many anti-aircraft guns and missiles come out from the building rooftops.

 

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!”

 

The military aircrafts fire their weapon and missiles at the incoming missile.

 

“Kaboom!” 

 

“Boom!”

 

Most of the military aircrafts manage to maneuver the anti-aircraft missiles. But it's having trouble evading the anti-aircraft gun bullets and falling down to the ground.

 

“I will have my revenge for my family!” One of the pilots shouted inside the military aircraft before falling, maneuvering the aircraft to crash into a building.

 

“Kaboom!” The building floor gets destroyed and soon the whole building collapses to the ground.

 

Seeing their comrade action, the rest of the stur pilots follow suit. The military aircrafts begin to attack like crazy and crash into a building or fall into the civilian.

 

“Boom!”

 

“Kaboom!”

 

The stur capital city is not the only palace that has been attacked by human military aircrafts; the other stur cities have also been attacked.
