After the interrogation, the two pirates were already dead. Bloods coming out from their mouth and nose. I leave the pirate spaceship after I finish absorbing soul energy and storing all the goods inside my spatial storage. Most of the goods are food, material and weapons. There is no captive inside the spaceship. The captive must have been killed or being sold as a slave. The others have already returned and are waiting for me. 

 

“Mr. Sylas, what shall we do with the pirate spaceship?” Liam asked.

 

“Where is the spacesuit?”

 

“It’s near the exit room.”

 

After wearing the spacesuit, I order them to move the spaceship not far from the pirate spaceship. Standing on the exit door, the door behind me closed and the door in front of me opened. The spacesuit is not like an astronaut spacesuit on earth. It's more fit and can make movement in space easier and doesn't need an oxygen line.

 

At first, I was having problems moving in space and using a thruster to move. After a while I get used to it and move near the pirate spaceship.

 

Let’s test if I can create flame in space. A red flame floating in my palm. It looks like the law of vacuum doesn't apply to magic or vital energy. Does that mean I can survive in space without using a spacesuit?

 

Now is not the right time to test it. It’s better if I create a control room to create a vacuum environment. If anything happens my life will not be in danger.

Inside the spaceship, all of them are shocked.

“Flame in space, how is that possible?” Devin spoke.

 

“This is not something a human can do and why is the flame dark?” “Chris spoke.

The Dark flame lance pierce the pirate spaceship and what happens next the whole spaceship is engulfed in dark flame. The dark flame begins corroded and melted the metal. What is left after that is just debris from the spaceship. 

 

The people inside the spaceship can only remain silent. The large spaceship has been destroyed by a single human. 

 

“What kind of weapon did Mr. Sylas use?” Liam asked.

 

“I don’t know; I have never seen it before.” Vance spoke.

 

Seeing the pirate spaceship already destroyed, I return to the spaceship. Entering the spaceship all of them are sacred and more respectful. But I notice the eyes of the woman inside the spaceship are a bit weird. Ignoring them I go straight to my room to meditate.

“It’s not impossible, but I need to find one of their bases to gather information and make a proper plan.” Ruby spoke.

 

“I will tell Mr. Sylas later. With that we don’t need to be afraid of other organizations.”

 

“Why don't you stay in the federation?” Chris asked.

 

“I need to make a backup plan, if anything happens. Like what happened in Otune.”

 

“I agreed, I also almost died.”

 

Ruby has been thinking while listening to Vance and Chris. Concerning the dark flame that destroyed the pirate spaceship. She recalls a psychic experiment in which the test subject used her mind to control flames and set objects on fire. The power was named pyrokinesis by the scientist. The side effect of this experiment, the test subject has a short lifespan.

In the spaceship cafeteria Arian and Logan are having lunch with their family. Liam also joins them for lunch. Arian and Logan still treat Liam respectfully because they know He is Mr. Sylas earlier follower.

“My wife is happy as long as we have shelter and food for our son.”
