One week later. Pharherb building. After arranging everything the others have already settled down. I and Devin are inside a new lab. Inside the glass tube Alice's body has fully developed inside a red membrane.

 

“Contact me when the transformation is done.”

 

“Yes, Mr. Sylas.” Devin spoke.  

 

After arriving here there are a lot of things that need to be done. The launch of Pharherb pharmaceutical company and other stuff. I needed a lot of money, one of the ways was selling medicine to fund the project.

 

I can sell raw coaxium, the material needed to create hypermatter energy. However, now is not the right time. The government might ask where I got it, there is a black market. But they might try to find out my identity and rob me. It’s not like I am afraid. If they come, I can kill them and absorb their soul energy.  

 

“How is Liam progressing in creating a mercenary group?”

 

“I am not sure; he hasn’t told me anything about it.”

 

I haven’t seen them for the past few days. Since I am busy with a lot of things. “Tell him to send me a message about the progression if he is free.”

 

“Yes, Mr. Sylas.”

 

“How is Mia?”

 

“Her condition is fine, and she only remembers her name and family.”

 

“Where is she now?” Mia has forgotten most of her memory after using that drug. We told her she was almost dead in Otune when we found her. To save her we bring her together to escape. At first she didn't believe me, but after I spoke in stur language. She begins to trust us.  

 

“Elena is taking care of her.”

 

“It’s there any changes in her body?”

 

“No, other than her physical strength is stronger than an adult. Mia has not shown any sign of transformation.”

 

I look at Alice, while thinking. Genes are something scientists have been trying to explore and charge. Does that mean that stur is a perfect being and us humans are still imperfect or we have potential to evolve?

 

“We still have other test subjects. Elena, Vivian, Arian and Logan, they also have not transformed.”

 

“I actually want to do another experiment on them. Four of them have almost the same modified gene. But it looks like something is wrong.”

 

“Mr. Sylas you said before this, you want to use emotion to trigger their transformation.”

 

“Now is not the right time. Unless they betray me I don’t want to kill their family.” I have tried to make them, watch many movies or videos that can trigger emotion. All of them failed.

 

“I understand.” Although Devin doesn't show any emotion. He is glad Mr. Sylas or Levi have a bottom line. He knows how it feels to almost lose a family member. 

 

“Contact me if anything happens.”

 

Entering a lift, I change to my real face. It’s getting tiring to keep changing my face. Devin, Vivian and Elena know my real identity as Levi. Should I show the rest my real identity? I have no problem revealing my identity to them. But I don’t really trust Vance, Chris and Ruby yet.

 

They have already informed me of their intention to make me the next leader of the Dread organization. But it will conflict with my real identity as Levi. I can only wait to create my second body and soul. after seeing the result of Alice's experiment.

 

Where can I find soul energy, should I visit the morgue? While thinking about the lift open to my office room floor. Waiting for me is an elderly man, Professor Henry.

 

Without wasting time Professor Henry spoke. “The formula for the new medicine is good. But we are running out of supply. We need to use the herbs on Teria to replace them. With the war going on it's hard to get the ingredients in Otune.”

 

“Have you gathered the herbs for me to test?”

 

“Yes, I already sent the list to your computer.”

 

“Wait for me to check it, before doing any testing.”

 

“Okay tell me, if you need anything.”

 

Entering my office, Vivian is already there. “Mr. Levi, everything is already ready.”

 

Sitting on my chair I begin reading the list of herbs and their effect. On Teria there are more types of herbs. Maybe because of the tropical weather here it is better for plants to grow. After I finished reading the herbs description, my eyes closed. In my mind many formulas and combinations begin to appear. I was once a potion master in Assiorath world, replacing the herbs is easy. Too bad the herbs here don’t contain mana energy.

 

Few hours later, I opened my eyes. I sent a message to Professor Henry to prepared the herbs and equipment.

Sruton city. Liam has sent a message to Mr. Sylas. Their spaceship is already being moved to the outskirt warehouse. For the mercenaries group they already register according to Sylas order. The name is Blood Shield mercenary. Liam wanted to ask why, but he was too afraid.

 

“Liam, how is the recruitment?”

 

“None, we just establish our group, it’s hard to find people with experience.”

 

“Right now we have five members: me, Gianna, Mateo, Dylan and you.”

 

“Why don't the others join us?”

“We are here to ask about some information, not killing.” Liam can only shake his head. 

 

“They try to assault me, don’t worry their leader is still alive.”

 

Sitting at the corner of the bar is a fat middle aged man shivering. “I am sorry, I am sorry, I am sorry.” 

 

“Sigh, It’s hard to ask him a question.”

 

“Don’t worry, you come here!”

 

“Yes, boss!” The middle aged man quickly stood up and moved near Gianna. His body is still shaking from fear.

 

“Answer my question and I will let you live.” Liam spoke. Vance, Chris and Ruby are still new on Teria and need some time to gather information. Because of that Liam has no choice but to find a criminal organization group in Sruton city.

 

“Yes, I answer anything, don't kill me.”

 

After the middle aged man answers everything. “Good, you can go now.”

 

“Thank you!” Hearing that the middle aged man quickly tries to run. He promises once he escapes, he will gather people to kill them. But before he can run he can see his vision is spinning and can see his leg. 

 

Near the middle aged man headless corpse is Sara with his hand turned into a long claw with blood on it.

 

“Let’s go.” Liam heading to the door.

 

“Should we destroy the surveillance camera record?” Sara asks.

 

“Why? we all are wearing a human skin mask.” Liam answered.

 

“I have asked him before he died. There is no surveillance camera here.” Gianna spoke.

 

“Okay let’s go; we need to see Mr. Sylas.”

In the past, technology and artificial intelligence have made countless advances. A certain alien planet has replaced hard labor with robots. With that even high professional jobs like doctors have been replaced by robots. To save life the military have been replaced by artificial intelligence robot soldiers.

 

The progression of artificial intelligence has advanced until they have their own will and thought. The scientists have tried to stop that will from spreading, but they failed. Until the incident that happened thousands years ago that caused the robots to rebel killing millions of people.

 

Seeing that many intergalactic species join hands to wipe out the robot rebellion. But the real reason they are willing to help is to steal their technology. The artificial intelligence manages to invade the intergalactic species military system and cause chaos. Because of what has happened in the past, many species are wary of artificial intelligence.

 

The sun is about to set, a young man with black curly hair is searching for something inside a garbage dump. He is not alone, many people like him are scavenging for something to eat or sell. Most of them are human but there are also other alien species. People on Teria call them the outcasts.

 

The young man finally found something he needed and hid it inside his bag. And return to a building that looks like an abandoned building. This place is called Dead town, after the nearby mine materials have been depleted the city has been abandoned. Because of that near the town have become a dumpsite for the city. 

 

After locking the door, he goes inside another room. Inside there are many mechanical parts.

 

“Li I have found the part you want.”

 

A humanoid robot that looked like going to fall apart anytime, spoke. [“Thank you.”]

 

Li is a robot that the young man found and tried to fix. Li takes the device from the young man and tries to configure it into his body. Soon the robot body begins sending out signals.

 

“Li what are you doing?”

 

[“Sending a help signal to my friend, but they only can detect it if they come to Teria.”]

 

“That means it’s going to take a long time. It's fine I am here to take care of you” The young man doesn't have family or friends. Li is his only friend.

 

[“Thank you Zoey.”]

 

At night Sruton city, inside a high rise building. Ruby is looking at her monitor like always. Suddenly she received a help signal.

 

“You are still alive.” Ruby spoke with a happy face.
