The space pirate lair located inside the base of a mountain. Their spaceship is hidden deep within a vast chamber. Their hideout is currently in shambles. There are corpses and body parts all over the place.

 

“Hahaha!” The humanoid mantis shrimp punches the pirate to death. Every punch that hits his target will cause a shockwave. The pirates inside will get damaged and start bleeding from the eyes, mouth and nose.     

 

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!”

 

“What are you doing? Shoot them!”

 

“The monster moves too fast and the bullets can’t pierce the monster skin.”

 

The humanoid mantis shrimp gene has been modified and not only makes him stronger but also faster. While he is playing around killing the pirates. Suddenly he heard someone shouting at him.

 

“What are you doing quickly to kill them!” The black scales monster shouted.

 

“Yes, quickly kill them!” The red scales monster shouted.

 

The red and black scales are humanoid monsters. Move like a blade every pirate that near them gets slash by their sharp claws and blood sprayed from the victim's wound. Head and limb fall to the ground.

 

“Yes, big sis!” Hearing that the humanoid mantis shrimp body quiver and move even faster.

 

There are a lot of space pirates, however most of them are sleeping at night. They are having trouble defeating the intruder.

 

While they are in panic a group of pirates come out from the large pirate spaceship. Several of them are carrying a laser rifle.

 

“Take this.” A man takes out a laser rifle and begins shooting. But the humanoid monsters are not scared and use the corpses or a living being as a shield. While they are busy shooting a humanoid komodo dragon, they sprint and leap at them.

 

“Watch out!” The space pirates that are too late to evade the attack, get shredded by the monster claw and mouth. Every time the pirates go to use their laser rifle the monster will evade or use other pirates as shields. The normal bullets don’t do any damage to the monsters. 

 

“What kind of wild beast is this?”

 

“I don’t know; I never see them!”

 

While they are busy fighting, a skinny man with messy clothes comes out from one of the entrances. “What's going on?”

 

“Vice-captain, some kind of monster entered our base.”

 

“It’s just a wild beast, kill them!”

 

“We are trying but they are too fast and use our man as a shield.”

 

“Activate the spaceship weapon.” The vice-captain realizes how grave their situation is right now.

 

“But we will kill our own man.”

 

“Don’t you see our situation, if we don’t do something all of us will be dead.”

 

The pirate spaceship laser turret begins to activate and aim at the monsters. When the laser turret fires. A large beam of red light pierce through and obliterates everything on the laser path. Including the pirates that can’t run fast enough.

 

The monsters that begin to scatter and find a location that the laser turret can’t fire at them. At the same time killing any pirates that near them.

 

“Ridicules, why can’t you hit them!” The skinny man shouted. At the same time, he is really scared of the monster. The monster kills anyone that is near them.

 

“Everyone keeps firing!”

 

More pirates come out from the entrance.

 

“Big sis what should we do?”

 

“We wait.”

 

“Don’t worry I am sure that Liam and Zoey will take care of it.”

 

“Kaboom.”

 

One of the pirate spaceship engine thrusters exploded. But the explosion only damaged some parts of the spaceship. The spaceship weapon is still functioning.

I stop on the tree branch and can hear the explosion. It looks like they also almost finished their mission. But I don’t think they can kill all of the pirates. I move fast and finally arrive at the large chamber entrance. With the entrance this big it’s weird no one can’t find it especially near the vice president mansion.

 

The vice president must have bribed people to keep this location a secret. Entering inside I can see smoke coming out, and the smell of blood. While walking I absorb the soul energy of the corpses that near me.

 

I can finally see them; the space pirates can’t do anything to them. The only problem is the laser turret is still functional. Raising my hand, many small green flames floated in front of me. The space pirates are only wearing simple armor or none. I don’t need to waste a lot of energy to kill them. Using poison flame is enough.  

 

The multiple small green flames launch at the pirates. 

 

“What is this?” The small flame hit the pirates face. Their faces and hair are being burned. The green flame enters their mouth and nose.

 

“Ahhhh!”

 

“Waaaa!”

 

“Hottt!”

The pirates are holding their head in pain from the flame. At the same time the poison from the flame already circulates inside their body.

 

The monsters all stop moving seeing what happens and they see someone they recognize.

 

“Mr. Sylas has come!” The humanoid mantis shrimp shouted.

 

The pirate spaceship laser turret sees the new intruder aim the weapon and fire. The large beam hit the intruder. Everything that the laser touches gets obliterated.

 

The shield cracks continuously and my vital energy restores the shield until the laser beam is gone. It looks like I can only take three more hits before my vital energy is depleted.

 

The pirate spaceship laser turret seeing that the invader survived, wanted to fire again. Before the turret can fire, a large dark flame lance pierce through the laser turret. What happens next the dark flame begins engulfing and killing any pirates inside. The part of the pirate spaceship that touched the flame began to corrode and melt from the dark flame.  

 

“Find the pirates that are still alive and kill them!”

 

The four monsters rush through the entrance inside the base and begin a massacre. Liam and Zoey have been hiding after setting up the explosive. Seeing Mr. Sylas strength, Zoey is scared.  

 

For me I enter the pirate spaceship to kill and loot anything that I can find.

 

“Is Mr. Sylas a human?” Zoey asked.

 

“I don’t know.” Liam answered truthfully.

 

I found other captives inside the pirate spaceship and released them. After a while the military and the police come to rescue them. At that time we already disappear and returning to our base.

Next day the news is full about the destruction of the space pirates on Teria. The president and federation, have altered the information to make the civilian don’t lose trust for the government and federation.

[“The vice president sacrifice himself to exposed the hideout of the space pirate.”]

[“Vice president found out his friend is actually a space pirate and have been hiding kidnap people in his mansion.”]

Turning off the screen tablet, I lay on my chair. After absorbing the soul energy, I have a feeling that my soul is strong enough for the next process. The Splitting soul technique, I still remember the pain, when I did it the first time in the past.

 

Should I do it now, or wait for my second body to be made? Different from cloning that has many defects and low success rate. I am going to combine the Mutant soldier and Phoenix reborn project to create my new body.

 

I decided to check on Alice. If the experiment fails, I need to find a new test subject. There are many criminal and homeless people here on Teria.

“Mia, what a wonderful name.” Zoey eyes never leave Mia's figure.
