Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Trouble. (3)

Intergalactic star cross camp. At night, the mercenaries are caught by surprise. More than half of the mercenaries have gone to the terrorist hideout. The mercenary is having problems defending the camp.

 

The terrorist also is using heavy firearms to fight the mercenary. They try contacting their leader and government but can’t go through. In the end they all gather at the center of the camp protecting the staff and civilians. 

 

The terrorist also stopped firing and surrounded the area.

 

While they are waiting for the next attack. A man from the terrorist group came out and spoke.

 

“As long as you give your supply of vaccine and medicine we shall leave this place.”

 

Someone from the mercenary shouted. “You think we are kids, we have been dealing with terrorists many times. Once you get the vaccine you will kill us all!”

 

The other mercenary agreed. While they are talking the other terrorist is already preparing to attack. 

 

Inside the tent, Logan, seeing that spoke to the other Blood shield mercenary members. “We might die today, if any of you survive, tell my wife I love her and my kid.”

 

“Why are you saying that, you might survive.” Arian spoke.

 

“Have you tried contacting Liam?” Zoey asked.

 

“I already sent a message but there is no reply.” Logan looks at all of the members of Blood shield mercenary. Especially the new member. They all escaped from being a slave but end up dying here. “I will try to make an opening for you guys to escape.”

 

Logan begins walking. The other mercenary group are puzzled, but soon understand what he is trying to do. Following behind him is Arian and Mia. Three of them are the first members of Blood shield mercenaries. Zoey wanted to join but Logan ordered him to take care of the others.

 

Outside the tent. “Since you want to die, everyone opens fire!” The leader of the terrorist shouted.  

 

Before they can fire, three silhouettes come out from the tent and open fire.

 

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!”

 

“Ahhh!”

 

“Ahhh!”

 

The terrorists that get hit by the bullets fall to the ground dead.

 

“Fire!”

 

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

 

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!”

 

The mercenaries also begin firing.

 

The terrorist bullets pierce through the three silhouette bodies that are not protected. Blood from their arm and leg flows to the ground. After a while the injury that the three people sustain is serious and they collapse.

 

The three people are faster than humans, but they are still slow compared to bullets. And they can’t evade a rain of bullets that come out from everywhere.

 

“To think I will die here.” Logan spoke weakly.

 

“I hope Mr. Sylas will take care of my brother and sister.” Arian spoke.

 

“Don’t worry I am sure…Cough.” Blood comes out from Logan's mouth. Since he is wearing a helmet the visor is covered with blood.  

 

Mia kept quiet, her family already passed away. After that she didn't remember anything. Her body suddenly feels hot, is she going to die?

 

“You bastard, how dare you kill Mia, Die!”

 

Mia can hear someone calling her name. It must be that stupid man. Her body feels tired.

 

While their life is almost at the end. There is an energy inside of them that has lay domain for a long time. That energy is a vital energy that stabilizes the gene from deteriorating. Sensing the danger, the vital energy begins to move protecting their host body. But it was useless, their body was dying.

 

The vital energy like a living being circulates around their body. Finally, the vital energy has triggered something inside their body. 

 

Levi never thought about the vital energy that he used to create mutant soldiers. Can save their life one day.

“Kill them all!” 

 

The terrorist and mercenary have ignored the three people that are lying on the ground. For them the three people are already dead. 

 

One of the terrorists sees that three corpses are moving. But he ignored it because no one can survive that kind of injury.

 

The three corpses stand up and their bodies are expanding and tearing their clothes. They each grow different fur colors, gray, brown, and red. The helmet then disintegrates, revealing a wolf's face with a sheep horn. As the transformation progresses, the three corpses grow larger and taller.

 

The terrorist and mercenary saw that stopped firing.

 

“What is that?” After saying that, the terrorist's head disappears from its body. Without anyone noticing a horn gray werewolf disappear near the other two horn werewolf. And attacking one of the terrorists using his claw.

 

“Fire!”

 

“Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!”  

 

The horn werewolves ignored the bullets and began killing the terrorist. The bullets can’t even penetrate the monster skin. 

 

“Ahhh!”

 

“Help!”

 

“Stop that monster!”

 

The monster rip apart or bite anyone that is close to them. The horn red werewolf pierces the body of the terrorist with her claw and throws the corpse away.

 

“Quick use of a rocket launcher!”

 

Several people launch the rocket at the three monsters.

 

“Boom!”

 

“Boom!”

 

“Boom!”

 

The people near the monster also get caught by the explosion.

 

“Do we manage to kill it?”

Inside the fire and smoke three bloody monsters come out and continue massacring the terrorists.

 

The leader of the terrorist ordered a retreat.

 

Seeing that the terrorist has retreated, the three monsters stop attacking. The mercenaries that watch everything. Their bodies begin to tremble from fear. Except for the Blood Shield mercenary. While the monster is heading toward them, their injury from the explosion is regenerating. 

 

“Good job.” Zoey spoke.

 

The horn werewolf’s body shrinks and returns to normal. Two men and one woman are naked in front of them. Then they passed out and collapsed to the ground.

 

“Bring them inside and bring clothes!” Zoey order. He almost goes to hug naked Mia, but manages to stop.

At the collapse cave. The mercenary is busy digging to save their comrade.

 

Near them is a large humanoid Komodo dragon punching and moving the rock. The other members of Blood shield mercenary help remove the debris and rock. The other mercenary doesn’t know where this monster is coming from. But they are okay, as long as the monster doesn’t attack them. 

 

After one hour they all take a rest. The humanoid Komodo dragon is Mateo.

 

“Mr. Mateo, do you think they are still alive?”

 

“Don’t worry, they will be fine.”

 

While they are resting. A noise is coming from the collapsed cave. 

 

“What is that?”

 

“Bang!”

 

The rock debris burst and flew into the sky. The mercenary soon sees a large humanoid mantis shrimp come out from the hole. Behind the monster are two scaly lizard woman holding an injured human.

 

“That is Boss Liam and others!”

 

“They are alive!”

 

“Let’s talk about the spaceship.” Gianna spoke.

 

“Yes, vice leader!”

 

Liam has been put inside a glass tube for emergency treatment. But they need to return to Teria. Liam's injury is serious. When the cave collapses the other transforms. Because of that their body manages to withstand the damage. But Liam hasn't gone through the mutant soldier experiment.

 

Returning to the camp they see that the camp has survived a terrorist attack. The government has sent a military to save the trapped mercenary in the collapsed cave. After the discussion the intergalactic star cross decided to return to end the mission. Since the mercenary saves their life all of them are getting the payment for completing the mission.

Planet Teria, Pharherb building. Inside a room there is a red battle suit that is under inspection by Vance, Ruby and Li.

 

“This battle suit has no problem.” Ruby spoke.

 

“I also find no problem.” Vance spoke.

 

“Li, is there anything wrong?”

 

The humanoid robot after inspection of the battle suit has been quiet. After a few minutes the robot spoke. [“Mr. Sylas, do you know the name of the battle suit creator?”]

 

“His name is Lucas.”

 

The face of Vance and Ruby changes.

 

“Mr. Sylas, do you know where he is now?” Vance spoke.

 

“Yes, we are willing to buy that information.” “Ruby spoke.

 

Seeing their reaction, I begin to explain where I got the battle suit.

 

“Li, have you found anything?”

 

[“I need more time; Lucas might leave some trace or it might be people with the same name.”]

 

Vance and Ruby soon calm down. Li is right, it might be people with the same name.

 

“Mr. Sylas, can we examine the battle suit for a few days?” Vance asked.

 

“Sure, I am not using it for now.”

 

All of them thanks Sylas.

 

Because there is nothing to do, I leave the room.

 

“Mr. Sylas, we have a problem!” Vivian came running toward me.

 

“What is the problem!”

 

“Liam is in critical condition.”

 

“Where are they now?”

 

“They are still in space.”

 

“How long they will arrive.”

 

“Five days if there is no problem.”

 

“Prepare the medical room and contact me when they arrive.”

 

After Vivian left, I grinned. Because I will have another mutant soldier.
