"It was just a prank, Mrs. Smith," I told her, "If this happens again we can look into it," I could tell from her surprised look and the smile that followed—I had made a 'good' decision, at least in her mind.
"Alright, Mathew, Prince, Riley, go fetch Mura a desk from the storeroom," She ordered the three friends, seeing a good opportunity to find out how my forgiveness affected the three I jumped on the bandwagon, "Madam, can I go on with them?"
She shoot me a surprised look but nodded, "Fine."
They were less than pleased at being singled out, it was written on the blonde Prince's face. And Mathew was still red, and Riley had enough melanin content in his skin that I couldn't tell if he was flustered or not.
They followed me out under the gaze of the entire class, sticking to one side of the hallway we reached the storeroom. Mathew pushed open the door and the rest entered before me, and as soon I stepped in I closed the door behind me.
They turned to me and before they could ask what I was doing, I started without any preamble, "Bullying me was a dumb idea," and immediately added, "You three do know that there are cameras in the class right?"
Mathew's eyes grew wide and Prince's white blonde face changed, "Shit," He cursed. Riley, like the brute he was slammed his hand on the desk.
"I could have gotten all three of you caught and punished with one word."
Mathew with perhaps the few brain cells have had nodded.
And I continued as my eyes trailed the three boys, "It was stupid, you guys should have trashed my locker, there are no cameras there."
"Damn it, so what will it be? What do you want?" Riley barely suppressed his voice.
"Nothing really," I shrugged to their utter surprise, "Just don't do it again," It's funny, the looks of surprise that the three gave me and Prince finally asked, what I had been waiting for, "Why?"
"Simple, you thought it was funny, didn't you? Well, I did too," I lied with the most disarming smile in my arsenal.
"Funny? Seriously! I nearly got a heart attack when the teacher called us up!" Mathew spat out.

"That was the funny part for me you know," My smile turned to a giggle, "Come on guys it was hilarious when the teacher mentioned the camera, the looks on your faces were priceless," I said with a light giggle.
"Seriously? So underneath all those faces, you were laughing?"
"Not laughing mind you. Barely keeping myself from belly rolling."
"Jesus Christ and I were about to shit my pants," Mathew admitted and I nodded, "You were red as a tomato Mathew."
"Right," His face was bitter as he said it.
I had thought of recording this whole conversation, but then I realized that this is not high school where I would absolutely be doing that.
"So, why did you guys do it?" I asked, my has tilted to the side as I tried to make up an innocent expression.
"We heard that you were picked..." I cut off Prince, "Off the streets?" He nodded. People should pick better reasons to bully people.
"And so? Why did you bully me over that?" My voice conveyed my confusion as Mathew answered, "You are the teacher's pet too, and..."
"Right fine. I don't wanna hear it," It might give me brain cancer if I do.
"So, um...sorry?" He mouthed off and I laughed, "Apology accepted."
"So we are cool right?" Prince asked and I nodded and they breathed sighs of relief.
"But you guys do need to do one thing," I told them as their sighs got caught in their throats, "Yeah?" Mathew asked.
"Carry one of that," My figures lifted toward a huge pile of desks piled atop one another in the room, "To the classroom."
