Chapter 1: CHAPTER 1: Blessings in Disguise

Under the sunny skies, Mr. Harvey was in rush to go to his office. He forgot that this was the day he needed to submit his new work to his boss. He even lost his wallet while he was walking in the road. When he reached to his office, he found a letter that wrote "CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'RE HIRED".  He paused for a moment before he reacted. He even going to call his mother for this great news. However, the moment he touched the sticky note, a blast of confetti had been exploded and fell it through his face. He was surprised and looked where the people who having fun on him hide.

But a robotic voice erupted and said, "You are now subjected for the Death".

  "What the hell is going on?", he busted his anger. Finally, a ruckus of people had been heard from the outside and he felt relieved. He thought that he was still in the office and nothing bad will happen again. He followed the voice of the people, and he found that sound was just a stupid ringtone of his officemate's phone. He scanned the environment of his office, but he did not find any weird things. He felt a little tired and sat in the sofa for a moment. A little while, he felt asleep.

When he woke up, he saw a shadow staring at him. He got up and rubbed his sleepy eyes to confirm that there was someone. Indeed, there was someone in his office, his boss, came glaring at him. He sensed that he made his boss angered that was why he explained. "Sir, I am very sorry, in a sudden, I just felt asleep. I didn't even notice that you were here.", he explained. "Harvey, are you okay?", the boss was concerned. He widened his eyes for surprise because his boss suddenly expressing concern to him not a contempt. He unconsciously rubbed his nape and said, "Sir, I've thought I need to go to some vacation." The boss nodded. Harvey was surprised and continued, "Do you want me for some vacation?" The boss agreed and reminded him, "You are just in your 20s and you are very talented. But it seems you are bit anxious about life and sometimes I noticed that you were acting stupid inside in your office. Don't exhaust yourself and don't drink too much coffee." Harvey was confused what his boss meant on 'acting stupid'. He wanted to clarify but his boss seems in a hurry and did not say a word when he went out.

He sighed and murmured, "Who are these people or thing bothering me?".

Harvey walked out the office and went home. Whist he was walking in the alley, he saw his friend. His friend was a little bit blunt, so he tried to escape from meeting him, but his friend already approached.

"Harvey, why you're being so afraid of meeting me, hah? Oh, you look older than your age. Oh, I am sorry.", his friend praised him with contempt. This friend also had the guts of making apologies from nowhere.

Harvey was stunned by being called old. He froze for a moment and smiled, "Due to work, I became a little bit older but unless I am more handsome than you." He counterattacked his friend with disgust. His friend noticed the 'sting' and bid for a goodbye because he was defeated by his handsome friend.

His looks cannot be compared with Harvey's aura. Even though he has the symmetrical face, but Harvey's has the perfect symmetry. Harvey was amused by his friend who left without hesitation. Harvey even shouted, 'What's in the hurry, man? '.

Harvey went home exhausted and preoccupied. He thought lot of things that happened him inside the office. He even verified his appearance in a mirror. He saw his face with the gloomy eyes and the dried lips which made him looked old. He washed his face and asked himself, "Am I crazy, am I?". He pricked his nose and slapped his face until it turned red and swollen.

He wanted to hurt himself for more, but a sudden bang heard in his door. His heartbeat beat faster, and his body trembled. He wanted to inspect what happen, but a cold gust of wind touched his skin and a deep voice suddenly spoke, "Don't come'. He turned where the voice had come from and he saw a man in black.

The man in black was taller than him and having an eye-catching aura.

Harvey asked," Who are you? Where did you come from? Are you a ghost, huh? What do you want from me? What is that thing outside my room? Huh?". He posted all these questions in one talk and the man in black looked very amused by Harvey's expression.

Before the man in black spoke, he slowly walked and looked out the window and said, "I am your keeper."

Harvey interrupted, "What keeper? Are we in a Martial Law? Am I a convicted criminal?". The man in black laughed loudly and even hummed like letting a baby sleep. Harvey was bewildered and he thought, "What kind of person is this, a guardian angel?".

The man in black continued, "I am Zion. From Netherworld. Well, we, keepers, were not ghosts. Remember that. What I want from you..." The man paused for a moment and said, " I want your body and soul." Harvey sensed mockery on his talk and wanted to beat the man. He lifted the chair from his side and wanted to smash it to Zion.

However, Zion had already gone from nowhere and his room returned to normal again. He had an eerie feeling that this man was hiding from the corner and watching him. He searched in every corner and even looked under his bed, but he did not find any trace of Zion.

He remembered the thud in his room, and he quickly looked for it. He was stricken when he found a safe box. He looked around in the hallway, but he did not find any presence of people. 

He wanted to rummage the safe box, but it was locked by some special key as the lock was spiral.

A warning from Zion suddenly came to his mind "Don't come'. What do these two words mean? Is it about the box or about getting outside the door. Through his thoughts, he came up a ridiculous idea, that God had already made judgements and he wants people to turn to dust.
