Chapter 2: CHAPTER II: The Opening of the Netherworld

Harvey decided to bring the safe box inside his room. He tried to break the lock, pick the lock but he was unfortunate.

It was afternoon when Harvey received an email from his boss, saying:

To Mr. Harvey,

The company had approved your leave. You will be paid accordingly. The company also complement on your 

achievement and you are one of the candidates for the promotion. Good luck!

He was glad that even if he was not there in the office, he will be paid similarly as he's present. He was little relieved that he had time for a vacation. After he saw the email, he contacted his mother. He told her that he was free for one week and he also urged his mother to join him on a vacation. But his mother refused because she was busy. 

Harvey slept for the whole afternoon. When he woke up, he saw the letter again similar to the letter in his office. 

"CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'RE HIRED."

This note puzzled him, and he wanted to call for someone who can help him. But, who? He reflected for a moment when a sudden gust of wind touched his arm. He anticipated that this was the man in black but when he turned around, he saw some black hole in the wall. He had goosebumps about these things as what he saw in some sci-fi movies. He tried to go out from that room but unexpectedly the door was locked. He pulled harder the knob and peeked on the hole outside. He called for help, but nobody responded. He tried to call the police, but his phone became erratic. He scanned the environment searching for some valuable things but what he saw was the safe box. The locked safe box was now open. It was mysteriously opened itself. 

What he saw inside the box was not he expected to be some valuables but some prototype of the Earth. It was like a world inside the box. He scanned the safe box and he saw his self in that world. He saw his self in a rice field. He looked like a farmer in that world.

He watched the prototype of the world for a while. He felt anxious about his self. He even questioned, "Why am I? I am just 23 and now I am dying. Why the world is so unfair? I don't even have girlfriend. I don't even experience to travel outside the country. Lord, help me."

A while after, a devilish laughter was heard. "HAHHHAHA".

"You, people, you are just empathizing the Earth.  Your life has a limit. Don't be stupid.", a sinister warning followed.

Harvey demanded, "I am a religious person. I believe in God. God will let me live for long."

"God gave you, people, gifts. But you, people, are squanderer. You're all bound to death."

"Who are you? God will punish evils.", Harvey responded.

'HAHHAHAHAHA'.

The unknown voice was faded.

Harvey checked the black hole in the wall. It was still there. He thought for a while before he decided to enter the hole. But before he rose his last step, a hand gripped his arm. He moved his head when he saw Zion. The man in black before was wearing now a casual clothing. Zion smiled but Harvey was serious. 

"You, keeper, why you're here? You're looking for death, too.", Harvey asked coldly.

Zion laughed loudly causing Harvey to get angry. In this time, Harvey was puzzleheaded while this man in casual wear has a time for enjoyment. Harvey wanted to have a tantrum with the man, but he said earlier that he was religious. He was defeated by his conscience. So, he just ignored the man. He threw his self to the black hole leaving Zion behind.

'What an attitude?', Zion murmured before he entered the black hole.
