It had been three days but Harvey was still not present. John was very worried about the man who just disappears and was not yet back. He tried to call the police and reported the strange hole but they said it was impossible. The policeman advised waiting for 24 hours. John waited but now it was the third day and there was no presence of Harvey.

So, he decided to went to a psychic who lived in his hometown. He thought that there was no other way since the legal authorities can't find a solution. He needed to drive five hours just to reach that old woman.

While he was driving his motorcycle, there was a sudden stampede on the road. The people were chaotic and some were weeping in pain. The blood was noticeable when it flowed down the concrete street. There was an accident. So, John who was a doctor quickly approached the people and helped. One of the women can't move his right leg after it was fractured by the strong impact. The other one was no longer breathing as her head was ruptured and some gray matter was

scattered where she was located. The accident involved a motorcycle and a ten-wheeler truck. The big truck was there and the driver was not injured. But, unfortunately, the two women were crushed. John called an ambulance and there he advised the surviving woman to not move. "Relax, don't move your leg."

The people around the spot froze after witnessing what happened. They were very silent. A few moments later, the siren of an ambulance was heard and it was coming nearer. John who was crouching down beside the fractured woman stood up and gave way to the rescuer. The other woman had no hope to survive what had happened to her so, the rescuers placed the corpse in a black bag. Then, after, the ambulance rushed going to the hospital.

The silent environment was turned into chaos and contemplation as they watched the driver of the big truck. The driver who was in his thirties was crying below the truck. He was there screaming and the onlookers glared at him.

One of the people said, "That was your fault. You have the big truck so you need to be more careful."

The old lady who brought a basket full of vegetables uttered, "Yes, I saw him. He overtakes the motorcycle. Poor women who suffered his carelessness."

John wanted to listen for more but his way to his hometown was long. So, he drove his motorcycle again.

After a long time drive, he reached a narrow road. It was grassy and houses were scattered. John remembered the way because when he was young, his mother brought him to that old lady for healing. At that time, the lady was not that old and now maybe, she was aging since that was a long time already. John passed on a wide ricefield and there he noticed an old lady along the road. So, he quickly stopped and asked, "Granny, do you know where Nonna Angelina lives?"

The old lady was surprised and widened her eyes, "I am. I am Nonna Angelina, young man. What is the matter?"

John leaped down from his motorcycle and talked to the old lady, "Nonna, I want your help."

"Come with me to my house. It was scorching here. We can discuss it there.", the elderly pointed to

the small hut which was also near. So, John walked while holding his motorcycle and the old woman fell silent.

A few moments later, they reached the shabby hut. The interlaced bamboo walls were dilapidated and the nipa roof was also very dry. There was little space inside the hut so John decided to sit on the little wooden bench outside.

"Young man, come in here. The sun is boiling.", Nonna Angelina invited John to come in.

"Okay, Nonna Angelina", John stood up from the wooden bench since he had no choice, the sun was also burning his skin.

John was offered a small stool so he decided to sit. The old lady was sitting on the bamboo floor while arranging the small candles on the top of the table. She kindled it and then offer a little prayer.

"Young man, what happen to you these last days?", Nonna Angelina asked while closing her eyes.

"Nonna, last Wednesday, at my apartment. There was something strange appeared. It seems like a portal. I don't know what it is.", John told the story about the white hole.

The old Granny opened her eyes and stared at the man with an ugly expression. So, she added, "The portal? Netherworld appeared again after its centenarian rest. It was very dangerous."

"What do you mean, Nonna?", John was puzzled.

"A long time ago, the netherworld existed together with our world. It was dominated by an immortal Kahuna. But, I remembered it was already fallen.", the Granny reminisced while looking at the candles.

"Who is Kahuna?", John was intrigued about immortality.

"I did encounter that man in black before. He was a young and exceptional beauty.", the old Granny smiled.

"How did you meet that man?"

"He was my keeper before. He guarded me when there was a black hole. I was young before but now I am already 120 years old. I vaguely remember anymore.", Nonna Angelina said.

"Did you enter that holes, too? My friend was similar to you. He just disappeared from that hole.", John spoke.

"Really?", the Old Granny was taken aback after she heard John's talk.

"Yes, Nonna. It was already three days but he was still not back yet. I am worried what if he dies in there."

"What is the name of that person?", Nonna Angelina posted a question.

"Harvey Cruz.", John quickly answered.

"What?", the old woman clarified.

"Harvey Cruz, nonna." John repeated.

"Is he a man?", the old Granny verified.

"Yes, he is. Why?"

"As far as I knew, the black holes didn't allow males to get inside.", the Old Granny said.

"But, there he was there in that hole.", John stammered as he spoke.

"Young man, if you think I can help you, I would tell you that I can't. That matter is about the netherworld."

John was taken aback and continued, "Help me, Nonna. My friend was stranded in there."

"Wait for nine days. Always check where the hole appeared for the first time. Maybe, you can find the solution that way."

"Nine days? That is long."

Old Granny answered, "Yes, holes appeared every nine days or every forty days. It was dependent on the death calendar."

John was surprised when he heard the death calendar. The nine days were talking about the dead reviewal. That fortieth day was about the departure of the soul to purgatory. That was the belief on the death calendar. The family of the dead will offer prayers and flowers on the tomb. If they forgot that death phase, the soul of the dead will return to the world and haunt its family. That haunting will be on the way to a nightmare or even swing mood. Some will suffer absolute fear and depression.

"Don't bother yourself about that thing. We can't help it. Death is always there.", Nonna Angelina said dismissively.

"One last question before I go. I was puzzled by the expression you had while talking about that Kahuna. Don't misunderstand my talk but am I right that you and Kahuna had some relationship?", John had no shame while asking about the controversy that he had on his mind.

"You misunderstood, young man. That Kahuna is just there guarding me. We have no other particular matters.", the Old Granny assured.

John's visit to the psychic reaped without what he wanted to have. He gained no answers or solutions. It was all bound to death. He can't stop or avoid it, no matter what he did. Good or bad humans were always facing fate. John stepped out from the small hut and rode his motorcycle on the way home. His mind was confused about Harvey's disappearance. He had no idea about the security of that hole.

John arrived at his apartment at exactly eight at night. His body was exhausted after the long driving. So, he took a sit on his bed and opened his phone. He was looking for some references on online websites. But, it didn't satisfy his questions. There were many references but there was no particular topic about that netherworld and the immortal thing. Thus, he just lay on his bed to relax his body. After a while, he fell asleep until the next morning.
