The high stade was still shaking and cracking the grounds. Harvey, on the other half, watched the ground with fear as it broke and revealed a deep steep. On the ground where he was crouching, it was no longer safe. One step can be made him fall below. His mind was occupied with fear while observing the dark abyss. What if there were monsters in that bottomless pit? The reddish ground slid onto that depth and eroded the high stade. Harvey thought that he had no escape this time so, he just closed his eyes and prayed. His every move will be bound to that bottomless depth. His body seemed immovable and similar to a frostbitten.
On the other side, the three people also suffered. Every ground on their spot was slowly corroding. The little child was also trembling while witnessing what was happening. Old Grandpa was silent and seemed to be contemplating a way how they could manage to escape on the brink of death. Lookie was separated from his Grandpa and the child after his spot cracked and slowly moved away. He had a very ugly expression while screaming for help. He wanted to stand but his legs were shivering so he decided to lower.
Harvey was still closing his eyes when suddenly there was a black hole appeared before him. He didn't notice it but there was an extending hand that emerged. That hand was grabbing similarly as before. When it grazed onto something, it quickly seized it and pulled it inside. Harvey's arm felt something so he moved a few steps. The ground that he was kneeling on was only enough to support his two feet. There he stepped on his foot and it fell. Harvey's mind was no longer working when it was already dominated by fear. Luckily, he immediately flexed his hand onto the ground and held it tightly. His body was falling into that abyss and his only arms were supporting him.
He thought that once his arms will become numb and tired, he had to decide for himself. If he will be lucky, he will be alive. If not, then he had no option but to die. He had nothing to do while facing death, so he just closed his eyes and remembered those happy and sad moments. It was like a death note. When you seem you will die, you will take time to reminisce. He would be happy. While he was thinking about those experiences, suddenly, his tears fell.
Harvey had to face his fate. If he can fight, he will find a way but seemingly, he had no choice.
After a few minutes, Harvey's arms became numb. His hands were wounded which also hindered him to hold tightly. His body was heavy and beyond his strength. So, he had on his mind to jump that abyss. He didn't care anymore what will be his life after taking that risky jump. He was hesitant but he can't endure it anymore. "I am dying anyways, so why I am still hesitating.", Harvey said to himself. He had already looked down and was on time to jump when suddenly, there was a black
hole surfacing his feet.
"Come down. It is safe here.", there was a voice coming from that hole. It was similar to Zion whose voice can be heard in that hole too.
Harvey had livened up and quickly replied, "Zion, are you there?". He was no longer thinking.
The black hole was silent but in a few seconds, "You will know if you come down."
Harvey was no longer hesitating so he jumped into that black hole below his feet. That brink of death was impossible when this black hole appeared. He thought that jumping down this hole was more secure than jumping into that unknown abyss. He remembered what prediction that feng shui expert had, death was always with him. He was maybe unfortunate but always lucky in other ways.
The place Harvey had entered was having a sense of home. There he stood around in a red environment. It was similar to hamlet but it was not lively. There were no people while he was observing the environment. He stood up before a manor house. That manor was covered with red and had a haunted aura. There he already saw roses and pine trees. There was a bridge on the north but it was decorated with decapitated heads. No one will dare to cross that bridge. Harvey scanned his environment for a while. He also saw some little houses which were similar on that way along the high stade. The air was aromatic and fragranced. Harvey described himself that it was
no longer oxygen anymore that was odorless. That pleasant smell soothed Harvey who was still nervous.
The manor house suddenly opened its door widely. Harvey saw it and so he hurried his steps.
"Welcome.", the decaying man stood there and beckoned Harvey.
Harvey was taken aback after seeing the man. It was a corpse with decaying flesh infested by worms. It was a ghastly sight.

"Welcome. It is already the place you are looking for.", the decaying man continued.
"Is this the monster's lair?", Harvey asked with a puzzled face.
"Yes, you had searched this place.", the decaying man waved his hand to let Harvey in.
Harvey was befuddled. He thought that was why this corpse talked about he was searching. He wasn't searching the monster's lair. It was just an incident that brought him here. He had no other purpose but just to test the hole that appeared in John's door.
"Really?", Harvey asked.
"I am your servitor. I will run errands for you.", the decaying man introduced himself.
Harvey quirked his brows and clarified, "What do you mean by servitors?"
"We are the servitors of the monsters' lair. We are many but I am the only one sent to welcome you."
Harvey interrogated, "Who sent you here?"
"The keepers sent us here. The high stade was on the top of the manor house. You can look at it and be amazed at the two moons in the evening."
"So, you mean this is the netherworld?", Harvey looked around and was befuddled.
"Indeed, we are in the netherworld." the decaying man replied to him with a twitched face.
"This place is what the netherworld villagers call love lair, am I right?", Harvey verified the netherworld's controversy.
The decaying man twitched his face as it was smiling. "No, there was no love lair. That villagers were just making stories. They can't help to become loveless so they mold that story."
Harvey was surprised. He can't believe that those three people were just wasting their efforts. There was no particular love lair but what was there was the death lair. Monsters were always haunting humans and will not show them any love.
