Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Talking with Tatsuki

The next day Ichigo woke up before his father could get an opportunity to spoil his rest. After freshening up he went downstairs and saw the surprised face of his father who was just about to go upstairs to wake him up.

"You're awake? That is new for a sleepy head like you. Alright, let's go down. Breakfast is ready." Isshin said and turned back.

Ichigo followed him and soon reached the dining table where he saw the similar surprised faces of Yuzu and Karin due to his early entrance. Ichigo could realize that it was an everyday activity for them to wait for him which somehow warmed his heart even though he wasn't the original inhabitant of this body.

After eating his breakfast, Ichigo went back to his room to get ready for school. It was a normal walk to school, unlike yesterday. He soon entered the school premises and walked towards his classroom. He followed the path in his mind which appeared without him needing to even try.

On the way to the classroom, he found Tatsuki and Orihime talking with each other in the hallway. "Yo, Ichigo. Why didn't you come to class yesterday?" Tatsuki said.

"Yo, I overslept," Ichigo said while rubbing the back of his head. Ichigo also nodded his head towards Orihime who had quietened her voice down since the moment she saw Ichigo coming towards them.

With that said, Ichigo entered the classroom. 

"I wonder what led to Kurosaki Kun oversleeping yesterday," Orihime said.

"Well, he's a deep sleeper. Besides that, he seems strange today." Tatsuki said to herself.

"Strange?" Orihime tilts her head in a confused manner hearing Tatsuki.

Entering the class Ichigo is wished by a nod from chad to which he reciprocates. Seeing him right in front of him. The guy indeed seems very intimidating. The class soon started as the homeroom teacher entered the class.

The first lesson or the day was mathematics, something he was very familiar with. Though he didn't go to school in his former life but in order to live a normal life later on he educated himself and finally was able to find a normal job.

Thinking on that line made him remember about his wife which made him furrow his eyebrows. Even after what she did to him it was still hard for him to completely hate her. He could only blame it all on the choices he took in his former life.

"Kurosaki Ichigo, Is there something you don't understand?" The homeroom teacher asked noticing Ichigo's furrowed eyebrows.

The teacher's question jolted Ichigo awake from his thoughts and he replied that he figured it out. 

The teacher understood that he wasn't paying attention but since Ichigo had a record of performing good he didn't make things difficult for him.

Ichigo didn't noticed but at that time Tatsuki was also looking at him worriedly.

Classes soon got over one by one and finally it was lunch break. Ichigo had just bent down to take his tiffin box out when he heard Tatsuki's voice.

Following the source of the sound with his gaze he soon found Tatsuki looking towards him from the doorway.

Seeing that Ichigo had heard her voice she pointed towards the roof and went out. Ichigo took out his tiffin and started walking towards the rooftop while wondering about what Tatsuki wanted to talk with him.

'Did she started doubting that I'm not the real ichigo.' A thought came to his mind but he waved it away because a that type of possibility would be the last thing come to the mind of a normal person.

Reaching the rooftop, Ichigo found Tatsuki waiting for him in a secluded corner. He walked towards her and asked "Is there a matter?"

"Yeah, that's what I want to ask?" Tatsuki said.

"Hmm?" Ichigo replied unsure of what she was talking about as many thoughts started entering his mind.

"You've been acting strange today. Are you really alright? I could clearly see the sadness on your face when you zoned out in the maths class." Tatsuki said.

"Yes, I am... about that, I suddenly just had thoughts about my mother out of nowhere." Ichigo said.

Hearing Ichigo's reply Tatsuki curved down a little but she further asked "There's no other matter right? I just feel that after your off yesterday you somehow are different now."

Hearing her Ichigo itched his neck with his index finger and then pushed it in his collar to create some gap as he said "W-well..it might be because...."

"Because...?" Tatsuki asked cause of the long gap.

"I think I've grown fond of you..." Ichigo said.

"You've grown fond of me?...What does that even mean?" Tatsuki asked not understand clearly what he meant by that.

Ichigo couldn't help but take a sigh seeing that she was so dull and rephrased himself while staring straight at her "Tatsuki, I like you. The way a man likes a woman."

Tatsuki took a while. Ichigo could clearly see her eyes that were staring at him widening as he brain slowly processed what had been said to her.

Before long, a red hue appeared on her face as she immediately stopped looking at Ichigo's eyes and said while stuttering "Y-you, H-how could j-joke like that. I-Its n-not at all funny you hear me? Don't try to joke like that with me ever again or I'll kick your ass you bastard." Tatsuki turned around by the end of it and started leaving trying her best to not meet Ichigo's eyes.

Ichigo was quick and grabbed her arm before she could move away from him. He applied some force on it so Tatsuki naturally was pulled towards him.

At first he didn't planned to but seeing Tatsuki's face coming right towards him he has only one thought in his mind 'Fuck it' 

After that thought Ichigo's lips submerged into Tatsuki's as she saw Ichigo kissing her with widened eyes of surprise. With each passing mili second she felt her body growing weak and the feeling of losing herself to this pleasure entered her mind only to be stricken down by a shred of sanity that was barely left in her.
