Chapter 1: Chapter 1: I am sanguinolentus(1)

In the darkness of midnight, a scary noise could be heard.

"RRR…RRR...RRR"

I opened my eyes and started to get up, and slowly I started to move towards the noise. Every part of my body tells me to not move. It is dangerous, but I don't care. 

"RRR...RRR...RRR" 

I left the house and slowly walked toward the noise. The noise gets louder and my heart beat accelerates. 

"RRRRR... RBRRRR" 

Finally, I stopped and looked forward. I saw a creature that I had never seen before. Or should I say I couldn't?

Suddenly, it looked behind and our eyes met a red eyes with a black face. I couldn't see his/her nose or ears or anything. It was dark but terrific.

It moved toward me and I moved toward him/her. We looked at each other and then he/she rushed toward me and jumped. I saw the creature's claw as it moved toward my face, but still I remained in my place, not moving, waiting for death.

"human, why are you not running?"

I was surprised. I supposed it to be death.

I opened my eyes and looked at the creature,still the same darkness with red eyes.

" Why should I run away if I welcome death?" 

The creature's eyes opened wide but I couldn't see his/her reaction and his/her voice was too shallow. 

" Interesting human. What's your name?"

"Odol" 

"Odol... Why are you not scared of death?" 

" My life has no meaning. That's why it doesn't matter if I die." 

" What do you mean?" 

" Everyone lives for something. Some people live for money, some live for their family, some live for themselves. I don't have that."

" That's why you came here to die?"

" Yes and no, I want to know."

" Know what? "

" I want to know what kind of creature you are. I didn't care that I would die."

" Nothing will change with that, Odol."

" They can't because we are the only ones who can fight darkness and we can easily turn humans into our servants."

" They won't be like pure blood sanguinolentus, but they are good spies." 

" What is darkness you talk about?" 

" It is our mother's rage against us."

"I think I have said enough. Now you have 2 choices: 1.die, 2.become my servant."

He/she put his/her hand into his/her mouth and took out some kind of dark parasite and forcefully put it into my mouth. I could feel parasites moving in my body.

" By the way, my name is Luca Windsor. I am a female. My petty servant have a good death." 

Everything went dark as my body was crushed and I dropped to the ground.
