Chapter 2: Chapter 2: I am sanguinolentus(2)

I slowly opened my eyes and started to get up.

"ahhh... My head hurts because of what happened to me." 

I look around me and get shocked. 

" What is this? Why is everything red? No no no." 

As I focused more, I saw another change. I could see the inside of things. I could see water moving inside trees and grass. 

"are you OK?" 

Somebody called me and I looked toward that person. 

' What is this?' 

I could see his brain, his heart, bones and everything and then suddenly a really strong feeling of hunger overwhelmed me.

It was like I hadn't eaten anything for 3 months. Suddenly I remembered what Luca said yesterday. 

' It is your meat and blood, meat and blood, meat and blood.' 

No no no, I can't kill a person like this. What if humans discover me? I will die. I had to run away. 

" You don't look good, do you want me to call..." 

" No, I am fine. Get away from me pls." 

I started to run away. 

' What should I do now?'

I ran as much as I could until I reached a park. 

'I will hide here for now.' 

But my hunger grew stronger. I don't know how much I could endure this and then suddenly I heard a voice. 

'hmmm Odol, you endure your hunger better than I thought.' 

Luca! How can I hear her voice in my head?

' Where are you? Why can I hear your voice?' 

' You are my servant Odol. I can talk to you because of parasites inside your body.' 

' You should help me Luca, I can't endure my hunger anymore.' 

' Well, you are all alone for that. This is a test. After all, I can't let a failure inside our family.' 

' What the **** are you talking about? I am dying here.' 

' Now you better don't be rude to your master, Odol. I can abandon you anytime.' 

'I am sorry, forgive me.' 

' Good boy, now you should achieve 2 things to complete this test. Odol, first you have to satisfy your hunger without making anybody notice you. Second, you have to find me. Only then will we let you into our family.' 

What? How can I do that? I can barely keep myself sane. 

' How can I find you, Luca? '

' We have a connection, Odol, you have to find it. Now I have other things to do I will pray for your success. '

' No wait, don't leave me Luca. '

Shit, I am done for OK. Calm down. Let's think about this carefully. First I have to do something about my hunger. With the amount of hunger I have, there is no way I can just cut off a little part of human and satisfy myself also if I do that humans can find me if they test injury and find anything related to me. 

'I have to kill.' 

I had to kill someone and leave nothing behind. I looked around carefully. My eyes could see way better than before. 

' Yes, that guy.' 

It was a tall guy in a car. I ran toward the car and made him stop his car. 

" What are you doing? Are you crazy?" 

" Please, my friend fell and got injured. You have to help us."

" Where is your friend?"

"inside of the jungle we were camping there." 

"OK, come in." 

I am sorry for this. I don't have another choice. 

We moved deep into the jungle until I told the guy to stop. 

" Yes, it's here pls we have to hurry." 

"OK, let me take first aid."

We moved together until we reached the edge of the jungle. 

" Here, it's here." 

"OK, I am coming." 

He moved toward the edge to see where I was looking for. And then I pushed him off the edge. 

"ahhh what are you..." 

That was the only thing he could say before his body was crushed into a tree. I took a stone nearby and moved toward him. 

He was still alive but not long, anybody could say he would die for sure.

I crashed his skull with a stone, ending his misery. And then I started to eat. I also realised my teeth weren't normal. They were sharp. I don't know how much time passed after all. I just wanted to satisfy my burning hunger, but when I came to myself, I could only see bones. Nothing was left of poor guy who died for me. 

I started to dig a hole and threw all the bones into it. There should be nothing left of what I did here. 

" The first one is done now is the second one." 

Luca told me we had a connection, so I sat and closed my eyes and focused. I heard parasites could sense each other. I held my hand and tried to make all my parasites go toward my hand. As my hand turns black, I point it in each direction until I sense something. 

" There you are." 

I smiled and moved toward poor guy's car. I have never driven a car, but it doesn't matter. I turned on the car and moved in that direction. I could sense Luca. After 1 hour of driving, I finally reached a mountain. 

I started to clean everything in the car so there would be no finger prints on it and left. 

After another 1 hour of walking, I finally reached a cave. 

" Luca, I am here. I did as you told me." 

Nothing happened, so I was wandering. Did I go in the wrong direction but suddenly someone was behind me. I couldn't even guess how this guy moved towards my back. 

" So you are lady luca new pet." 

"who are you?" 

"I am Windsor's first butler, Jorge. Lady Luca told me to wait here for you?" 

" Then can we move?" 

" First, I have to confirm you succeeded in the test." 

Suddenly, another shadow appeared. It was so frustrating that they didn't let me look at them. 

"Annabel, how was it? Did anybody notice this guy?" 

" No Jorge-sama, we also confirmed nothing was left of the corpse and all evidence was cleared." 

" Good looks like our new pet isn't useless." 

Who are you calling a pet bastard? 

" Tell me how you found this place." 

"I just moved all the parasites toward my hand so I could sense Lady Luca's location." 

"interesting that's first time I heard somebody do it like that." 

"are you telling me there is another way?" 

" Yes, you just need to cut your hand and let your blood show you the direction. Also, Lady Luca should allow you to find her too, otherwise nothing will happen." 

"I see." 

" Annabel, give me the serum." 

"Yes Jorge-sama." 

Serum? What kind of serum? 

" Now you can look back." 

I looked behind and saw both of them but this time it was different... 

" What? You guys are normal..." 

" Only sanguinolentus eyes can see our true future, otherwise you will only see darkness. You see everything in red. Don't you focus on your eyes and move all the parasites in your eyes to a different part of your body, then your eyes will come back to normal." 

I did as he told me and when I opened my eyes everything was colourful again and

It was true, Jorge was a tall, serious old guy with white hair with closed eyes. He also wore a butler's costume and Annable was a typical maid with red hair in a ponytail , red eyes, beautiful and a calm face. 

" Do you think we look like monsters?"

" No, I am just shocked." 

If that is the case, what Luca will look like? 

"hold your hand, I have to inject you with this serum."

" What is that? "

" It is a serum made to specially let you have more control over your parasite and your hunger. We don't want crazy people inside our family." 

Oh my god, that is a holy god's gift. I held my hand and let him inject me. Immediately, I could feel a pain in my head. I had to sit and focus as the pain was too much. After a few minutes, the pain went away and I could feel control over every part of my body. 

" That was the last test. If you gave up on pain, you would turn into a parasite monster and we had to kill you." 

Why didn't you tell me that at first, you bastard? 

" Now I will welcome you to our family, Odol Windsor." 

And then suddenly, the whole mountain changed before me toward a big castle and my mouth had dropped to the ground. 

" What is this?"
