Chapter 2: Chapter Two

The minute I entered I knew that I was in a whole new world.

This dimension that I entered was a simple one in the shape of a cave of various tunnels.

I knew this thanks to a feature given to me by my system, which is a map of the dungeon I entered.

I can't see what I'll be running into, but I can see the red dots on the map which I assume are the enemies.

For now, I only have one tunnel to enter.

I shined my phone flashlight and took the first step forward.

Meanwhile, outside the dimensional portal an existence I did not expect stood in the shadows waiting and observing.

Inside the portal I leaned against the wall of the cave after it took me a while to take down a couple of low leveled bats called Blood Bats.

Blood Bats had a very annoying ability that gave it the name it has, the ability to use their own blood as poison.

Thanks to my thinking ahead to use my pot handle as a shield.

I thought it not smart to come emptyhanded.

It's best to be prepared.

I should exercise more, for my stamina to be this bad, it's embarrassing to finally see how bad of a shape I'm in.

If just taking out three of those bats was stamina consuming, just imagine the tunnels with more in numbers.

It won't be an easy battle.

Despite my new skills, none of them are useful for combat and cannot be used for myself.

If I don't have a skill to protect me, then I should start finding people that I can make strong enough to protect me then!

Even so, I won't be completely weak, there must be a way to enhance my combat experience without having to train years to obtain.

I continued ahead, using my handmade weapon out of a mop stick and a kitchen knife together, I took down as many blood bats as I possibly could.

Like I thought, an F Rank Dimension isn't hard like I had expected.

Despite my lack of stamina and combat skills, I can still fight these low leveled monsters.

Phew, I stood staring done at my inventory given to me by the system.

I learned that I could collect the bat wings and the *gladder inside it's body to sell to a merchant that appears in the dimensional worlds randomly.

I took down more bats that I expected.

Now this...

I glanced up at the doors ahead of me.

I wonder if this is the boss room.

There were no other tunnels to enter and I haven't seen any secret entrances.

There's no time to think about it, so far I have the memento.

I entered through the doors and they closed behind me.

I tried opening them on my own but it did not budge.

Looks like it's like those online video game dungeons that one plays, there's no leaving until the boss in the room is defeated.

Which means...

I turned and faced a medium sized bat rising into the air.

This is definitely a boss room!

I kind of expected to face a difficult opponent soon. Despite it's rank being low still, it's a rank higher than my own.

This one was different with a plus symbol following after the letter F.

That means, it's a special kind of F Rank monster.

I don't think my makeshift weapon will be of any use against this monster.

The Blood Bat dived towards me at full speed.

It started spewing out Blood Poison creating mediums sized holes next to me.

Good thing I dodged them in time.

I don't think I'll be able to defeat this monster without help.

What should I do to take the advantage?

I, right now, was stuck in a very bad situation.

Despite our levels only being a plus sign away, I was still too weak to take this Blood Bat.

"Watch out!"

I blinked as I watched a large rock flying past me and crashing right into the Blood Bat.

Who!?

I turned towards the boss room's entrance.

Wasn't it impossible for one to enter a boss room just as it was impossible for one to leave?

Who on Earth is this shaggy man?

No, where on Earth did he come from?

This is not good, whoever he is, I might just have to kill him!

The bat screeched on the way down to the ground, tumbling a bit.

I stood on it's feet and tried to flap it's wings to take air again.

The man behind me ran passed me and immediately grabbed the injured wing, and as if they were paper began to rip them.

The bat cried until it died.
