After closing the portal, I turned to face the dirty man behind me.

He just stood there looking all mysterious.

Thanks to that overgrown hair of his covering his eyes, I couldn't make out his expression.

"You...who are you?" I asked pointing my makeshift weapon in his direction.

He raised his hands in immediate surrender, "woah there, girly! I come in peace." He says.

The tone of his voice was deep and gruff.

I frowned, if I let him walk away my secret is bound to be known.

"I can tell what you're thinking, but you have nothing to worry about. I won't tell a soul about this." He tells me.

"Why should I trust you? You look like a very suspicious person." I refuse to lower my weapon.

 "I look suspicious? Says the strange girl randomly using weird abilities." He points out.

I frown, I mean he does have a point and it is my fault for not being certain that no one was around to witness it.

"A for who I am, as you said, I'm just a homeless man who witnessed everything and just saved your life." He adds.

I lowered my weapon, "I had a handle on it." I tell him turning away.

He followed behind me to the entrance of the abandoned building.

I roll my eyes and whip around to glare at him, "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Hm? I figured that since I saw everything you'd want to take me with you." He says.

I stiffen, "and will you tell anyone?" I asked.

He turned his head and whistles, "you never know." He mutters.

I slapped my forehead for my stupidity, and glanced up at him.

What the hell, do I really have to take this stranger home with me?

I blow out a breath, "fine, but no funny business." I tell him pointing my weapon at him again.

He nods and I turned to continue home, the homeless man following right behind me.

I must have lost my mind, but I had no other choice.

We finally made it back to my home, once inside I rummage through a few of my things and tossed him a towel.

"You stink, take a shower." I pointed towards the bathroom and watched him enter and close the door.

Once he's done I should figure out what he wants.

I waited with my arms crossed and was met with a shock once he left the bathroom.

The shaggy hair was no more and it seems he found one of my razors.

He looked to be in his early to mid thirties.

I looked down and was met with a very muscular chest, down to the towel wrapped around his waist.

Does a homeless man usually look this healthy and fit?

I turned, let's find him some clothes to wear, good thing I still have a few of my father's clothes.

I managed to find a pair of jeans and a tee shirt and tossed it to him, "get changed, let me know when you're done. I'm not done questioning you." I tell him.

He nods and went back into the bathroom.

While he does that, I'll use this chance to bind my two skills in the new glass globe I bought with a bit of the money I had left.

By the way, I should go to a bank to turn my gold into money, then get a card to use for buying things.

I transferred my two skills into the globe, it glowed before the light dimmed.

The brighter the globe glows the closer a potential employee is.

 

Suddenly the globe began to glow bright enough that it nearly blinded me.

Doesn't this mean that there's a potential employee right in this very apartment?

"Hey, was this your boyfriend's clothes?" The man stepped out of the bathroom.

I turned to look at him and the both of us stared at each other.

This globe....is it possible that it's trying to say that this homeless man is my potential employee?

Though, I guess looking at him now, I wouldn't even had thought he was the same person from earlier.

He's pretty stern looking, but his looks weren't half bad.

Me, on the other hand, I'm still this ugly duckling. I wonder if I could become beautiful as well?

He points at the globe, "what on earth is that thing?" He asked.

It still hasn't dimmed down as a matter of fact it only glowed brighter since he left the bathroom.

This means that he was definitely the potential employee.

"Let me see your hand!" I demanded grabbing his wrist and placing his hand on the globe

The glow dimmed and a misty color in the globe began to take form.

This! I can't believe my luck!

He looked at me suspiciously, "what was that just now?" He asked.

"You're now officially one of my employees." I tell him with a big smile.
