Chapter 49: Chapter 4 – District 78, Rojinki

"Spiritual energy," Jay watched the particles of spiritual energy in his palm, over his body. His sight was different from before, allowing him to see his body from inside to outside. Even look at the energy.

These two were the characteristics of Byakugan and Sharingan, which filled him with wonderment.

He was curious about the effects of karma, but this was for later. He could see the depths of energy, looking at the physical matter particles in the spiritual matter particles.

Jay stopped in between, shaking his hand, feeling the vein pop inside, "Shit, there is no chakra network."

Without a chakra network, the chakra was starting to flow through blood vessels, turning it into a high-risk, high reward situation. Jay was about to press on his forearm to use the pressure point to stop the bleeding when the karma automatically started paining, healing his wound.

"Ughh, troublesome," Jay rubbed his forehead, "This just turned a bad situation worse."

He closed his eyes, rubbing the karma mark before opening his scarlet eyes, "Yes, that might work. Although...it would be a bit inconvenient."

District 78, Outside Rojinki,

Tsunade stood beside a river, looking at her reflection, touching her own cheek. She was worried that she'd look old, but she was looking young, far younger.

She looked about two, with a tight body, having curves in all the right places. She even tied up her hair in a single ponytail instead of double.

Tsunade ran her hand through her high ponytail, carrying a smile on her face, "This is nice."

"If you are done admiring yourself, then can we go?"

Tsunade glanced back, seeing the brat with red hair, standing with crossed arms and an annoyed look over his face. Beside him was the little with black hair, looking around with a faraway gaze.

Tsunade put her hands in the green haori, walking towards them, "Yeah, yeah, brat. I am also curious about this Naori. Where was she again?"

"There! It's said that she lives in the Rojinki district!!"

"Ok," Tsunade whispered, shifting her eyes towards the forest of trees. There was a giant tree at the center of the forest, far above others, even older.

It took a few hours, but she stood up, but not without destroying the land, tens of meters around her. These two were nearly caught up in that destruction, barely making it.

For a moment, the two were frightened, but then there was a glint in their eyes, asking her how she became so powerful. Either way, she decided to let them tag along with her to know more about this place.

Along the way, the two of them explained to her about the spiritual pressure. It gave her an understanding of the energy.

The moment she entered the woods, her footsteps came to a stop, making her feel a pricking all over her body. Her eyes went towards the treetops, "Ohh, do you want to fight?"

Suddenly, the feeling disappeared, allowing Tsunade to enter the forest when someone appeared in front of her, making her come to a stop.

Tsunade watched the woman with purple hair, black eyes, which reminded her of bloodline limit users, "What is your clan name?"

The woman politely bowed, "Uchiha, Naori Uchiha."

"Uchiha?" Tsunade looked at her with an astonished expression, furrowing her brows.

Naori looked down, seeing the reaction from Tsunade's eyes, "So the things haven't changed?"

Tsunade smiled, "No, they have changed...if I am not wrong, then the Fifth Hokage might be an Uchiha. I was just surprised that the first person I met was an Uchiha, me being a Senju."

"Oh, I guess that is a wonder...but...what is a Hokage?" Naori blankly asked.

Tsunade looked up at the treetops, "You didn't ask them?"

Naori pressed her lips, "Although they are here, they aren't exactly talkative. Water is close from here, and it gives a good vantage and hiding point. They might be hiding here...doesn't mean we are together."

"Hah," Tsunade looked up again, "So which one is your tree?"

Naori pointed towards the center of the forest, towards the old, aged tree, "That one."

Tsunade looked back at Renji and Rukia, standing just outside the reach, "Don't worry...no one will hurt you."

Renji straightened his back, stepping inside when he shuddered. He started running, rushing over to Tsunade, with Rukia running over, with him. She was quiet, feeling the frightful atmosphere of the forest.

"These two?" Naori curiously looked at them

"From 78th District, they found me when I was about to faint from hunger," Tsunade shot a look towards them, watching them hold on to her haori.

Naori stopped, looking back, with a three tomoe Sharingan in her eyes, "You just said that you are a Senju. You want me to believe that a Senju was nearly starved in a few days?"

'Whoa!! What happened to your eyes!" Renji stepped back, crying out as he pointed at her.

Rukia made a fist, cutely nodding, "Yeah...what happened to your eyes?"

Naori glanced towards them, turning her Sharingan back towards Tsunade, "You should be more interested in Senju Clan. Every Senju is born with a massive life force and energy. Which is apparent even in this afterlife. From what I know, an ordinary Senju can live months without food and weeks without water. A starving Senju? Now that's a joke."

"Really?" Renji suspiciously looked at Tsunade, who shook her head, "My situation is a bit special."

She pointed towards her forehead, at her Karma mark, "Try to see through this." From what Tsunade knew, usually, Sharingan users can see through seals and look inside. She didn't know what, but Naori should be able to see something.

Naori confusedly looked at Tsunade, trying to see through her karma, but she could barely see inside. Her eyes rotated faster, turning into Mangekyo Sharingan when the world around her changed.

She closed her eyes, coughing blood, "What in the world are you?"

Tsunade walked past her, "It's a long story...we should talk back at your place. I am starting to feel hungry."
