“Is that really you, Ju Long?”
“Theseus?” Ju Long asked absent mindedly. None of this made any sense.
Theseus walked over and hugged Ju Long. Everyone in the room was confused. Who was this F Rank Spirit Theseus was emotional about?
“Everyone, this is my old party member when I lived, Ju Long.” Theseus introduced Ju Long, who awkwardly waved.
Occasionally, people met other people from their former lives, but under the Suzerain Lords, it didn’t really matter. This was a new life, and the old life didn’t change their present oppression. Theseus continued to breach the long cemented unspoken rules of the Oceanic Realm, one by one.
“Theseus, what happened to the party? Did anyone survive? How did you become this strong?” Ju Long was full of questions.
“We can speak after this meeting; please sit down and watch for now.” Theseus remembered his position and thought Ju Long could learn more about his new life though the meeting. Ju Long was speechless at now domineering and commanding Theseus had become.
“Are you sure he should be watching?” Captain Centos asked, skeptical.
“One day, Ju Long could become a stronger Captain than you, Centos. Work harder if you don’t wish to fall behind.”
Theseus dismissed the rude Captain. Centos sat down, saddened. Theseus felt a bit bad, but the meeting continued. Ju Long listened as they discussed the matters of Oceanus with Theseus. This Theseus wasn’t the one he remembered at all. His hair was long and white, his arm was replaced with a metallic artifact, his eyes were grey with Spiritual energy, and yet, Theseus had the same, calm, and logical thought process as before.
Theseus even looked happier than before. A leopard beast stood at Theseus’s side, which also perplexed Ju Long. According to the legends, it wasn’t impossible for him to wake up in the same place as Theseus, but it felt forced and strange. Everyone in the room felt the same way. Theseus even thought that an Administrator of Hell was the culprit for sending Ju Long here. If he was getting the attention of higher beings, it could be a good thing, or perhaps a very bad thing.
After the meeting, Theseus sent everyone outside besides Gerald, Gemini, and Leo.
“Ju Long, these are some of my closest friends in Hell. Elder Gerald is the mayor of this city, Gemini is my apprentice, and Leo is the friend who saved me in the Phaunus Forest. He isn’t my tamed beast, by the way.” Theseus explained.
It was a lot to take in. Befriending a beast? Was that even possible? An apprentice who was at the S Rank Sage Realm? Just how strong was Theseus now? He was probably stronger than Alvaro, Hama, and Astrid put together! His other friend ran this whole city as well. Ju Long thought the rumors about Theseus ruling a country was farfetched, but he couldn’t contain himself much longer.
“Theseus what happened after I died? How did you get here before me? What’s going on?” Ju Long asked lots of questions.
“I’ll start from the beginning when we were still alive. Gemini and Gerald, I asked that you two be here because these are personal events I wish to share with the both of you.”
“Thank you Elder Theseus!” Gemini said.
“Are you sure you want to share it with me?” Gerald asked. In a way, he felt as if he had taken advantage of Theseus. He was under qualified for his position, and his aura realm was exceptionally weak amongst the Elders. He sat at the low D Rank Mortal Realm and was more of a figurehead than a warrior.
“Yes, Elder Gerald. You and the Oceanus Village has stuck with Leo and I since the beginning.” Theseus reassured him. Gerald looked at Theseus meaningfully.
“It all started after your death on the fourth floor…”

Theseus told the story in graphic detail, from the Heavenly Trial with the Goddess Aurora to the fight with Fayette. After that, Theseus told the story of meeting Leo and Aries.
“Impossible, six years have passed…” Ju Long wondered about the nature of the dungeon. His soul lingered in the Ocean of Souls and just so happened to appear in the Oceanic Realm around five years later. Months had passed since he arrived in Hell, and nearly six years had passed since Theseus died.
It was unbelievable.
“Do you think they survived?” Ju Long asked. He was talking about Berringer, Lydia, and Alvaro.

“I hope they did. If they don’t, I hope that they’ll appear here too one day.” Theseus replied.
“The odds are one in three if they did die, and even less if souls randomly awaken somewhere else.” Ju Long thought out loud. In reality, the other two people who officially died, Hama, and Astrid, could’ve been randomly sent to either Purgatory or Heaven as well as Hell. There was no telling where they ended up.
“We may never know, but I consider myself lucky to have found at least one member of the party.” Ju Long said. He saw Theseus in a new light. They both sacrificed themselves for the party, and Theseus grew into a monstrous power since he last saw him. His development was truly incredible.
“Ju Long, I will be honest with you, there is a war beginning soon between two of the Suzerain Lords. After the war, the Suzerain Lord Darkin will invade Oceanus. I’m about to give you a map. Head to the location and train. When you’ve recovered your old aura realm, come back to Oceanus City and find Elder Gerald. I will promote you the level of a Captain.” Theseus gave Ju Long directions to his cabin. There was still herbal material for him to use there, and Gemini had his hidden books of information there as well.
“Hmm, you want to protect me, even now?” Ju Long was touched. In the past, he and Berringer bullied Theseus mercilessly, and they antagonized other members into looking down on him. Yet, Theseus treated him as a party member and comrade, even now. He felt ashamed.
“How can I accept your kindness?” Ju Long had tears in his eyes.
“Just as you sacrificed yourself for you friends, so did I. If you really didn’t care for me, you wouldn’t have died for me.” Theseus said out loud and send Ju Long on his way.
Gemini listened to Theseus quietly with Gerald. After Ju Long left, Gemini thought Theseus’s life was too difficult. He didn’t know what to say. All his life, he lived in Oceanus, and then Theseus trained him up. Meanwhile, Theseus was abused, beaten, lost his love, and died. Then, he was abused further by the Phaunus Forest, Aries, and the Suzerain Lords. Theseus overcame all of these things, while he, just took in Theseus’s knowledge on Theseus’s whim.
“You two don’t have to say anything. Keep working hard, and start preparing, Lord Darkin will challenge us soon.”

Lord Scorpius and Lord Taurus stood on the hills overlooking a valley. Two armies stood behind them.
“Today, the Suzerain War begins. After we clash, Darkin will awaken and seize the Oceanic Realm!” Lord Taurus proclaimed.
“Fuck you Taurus, I don’t care about that. Come face me like a man!” Lord Scorpius yelled back from the other side.
“No, fuck you Scorpius! I don’t know why no one has killed you by now, you war hungry bitch!” Lord Taurus said, losing his temper. This was supposed to be a glorious moment for the history books, but that maniac Lord Scorpius couldn’t keep his mouth shut.
“If you don’t face me right now, I’m coming over!” Lord Scorpius shouted, and his army advanced.
“Psychopathic monster!” Lord Taurus shouted, and his army also advanced.
Fighting for three days and three nights straight, both armies wore themselves to exhaustion.
“Once I take a nap, I’m coming back for round two!” Shouted Lord Scorpius, turning around.
Theseus and Darkin watched on through Artifacts as the two Lords fought themselves into a standstill. Taurus and Scorpius held themselves back just enough to buy more time for their respective backers. Taurus wanted Lord Darkin to take over the Oceanic Realm whereas Scorpius was aligned with Oceanus on the surface. Under his agreement with Theseus, he would let another year pass before fighting the decisive battle against Lord Taurus. He agreed to this simply because if he did so, he would get to fight Elder Theseus himself after the wars were all done and through!
Theseus could think at frightening speeds, and his analysis concluded that at their current progressions, both he and Lord Darkin would advance to their respective next ranks after one more year. Invading Lord Darkin now was an option, but it was more costly. Because Darkin’s forces matched his own in theory, it would stay as a standstill, and Darkin would still advance while his Captains fended them off.
According to intel, some of Lord Darkin’s top Captains were actually already in the F Rank Royalty Realm! Lord Darkin’s forces has accumulated for decades now, so it was surprising, but not that surprising. Unbeknownst to Lord Darkin, Theseus was now travelling Oceanus, training his Elders and Captains to become stronger. Because Theseus’s power was directly tied to his subordinate’s powers, his teaching abilities were utilized once again.
Time drew thin, and Theseus started focusing on other projects. The seeds he planted the past few years in Oceanus would come to bear fruit soon enough. There were a few miscellaneous concerns he had, namely the Desolate, the Moirai Dungeon that kept people from climbing the mountains, and the scarce food situation. The matter with Lord Darkin was important, but it was not all consuming to someone like Theseus, who had Parallel Thinking.
First up, he would visit the frontier and Adventurer’s Guild that stripped the resources from the infamous Phaunus Forest. Then, he would investigate the Desolate himself. Lastly, he planned to send a Ghostly Projection into the Moirai Dungeon to investigate.
But before these projects, Theseus had to deal with the Suzerain War refugees. The borders with Lord Scorpius and Taurus flooded with refugees, and Theseus had to go there first to elevate his perception by the public. There was simply too much to do! Those who were originally afraid and fled Oceanus fled right back because of the war, and the two major superpowers of Lord Darkin and Oceanus were now clear in the public’s eye. It was time to take sides.
