“And your efforts?” A womanly, almost seductive voice spoke in the mind of Scath.
Scath was a Zetgast, but not one of the mindless summons that have been seen, albeit rarely, on Earth. He was one of Suffering’s primes, one of her most trusted slaves. Scath was aware of his existence, one of just a matrix of magical energies created by one more powerful than he, but wasn’t that the basic making of all beings? Weather physical or magical?
When he heard the voice of his mistress, he immediately fell to his knees though no one stood there in front of him.
“We have killed the Twins.” He replied in the voice unique to Suffering’s realm, the voice that was hundreds of voices speaking as one.
“And the others?” she asked.
The voice was different this time. It was not spoken in his head but… but… Scath looked up and standing in front of his was his mistress. A Zetgast had no eyes, but their magical senses would be considered supernatural to the most powerful senses that come naturally to the beings on Earth.
He had never seen his mistress before. Three hundred thousand years as a prime, he had never seen her before until now. What made these Twins so important? She was the only being in her realm that had her own voice, soft and melodic.
Standing in front of him was a woman, she stood nearly ten feet tall staring down at him with eyes a brilliant white that was a stark contrast to her skin. Her skin was black. Not dark skinned like many of the people on Earth, but black, or more of a shadow. There was no depth, though as she turned and walked, Scath could clearly make out an alluring figure. Long black hair swayed from some gust not felt by Scath.
“The… The others have escaped.” He replied.
She tisked then turned back towards him. Scath has not averted his gaze, he was stuck staring into the eyes of Suffering. When he stared into those eyes, he thought he could see his future, a future of horror and pain if he ever left her side.
“You don’t lower your gaze?” She asked him.
Scath shook his head, not as an answer, but to gather himself.
“I just wonder.” He replied.
“Wonder? Wonder of what? Child?” she asked him.
“I…” he paused thinking that he was going too far.
“Don’t you disappoint me.” She told him, noticing his silence.
“I wonder why these two are so important. Why have your shown yourself?” He asked.
He could see no face, though he could feel her approval.
“It is true, since I have been trapped, much energy must be expended just to show to a sliver of myself.”
She stopped speaking, but Scath stood to walk by her side, though he had lowered his gaze at this point.
“The Twins are not just two humans…” she said that word with disgust. “from Earth. They represented something that could have been the end of me.”

“End of you? That is impossible! You are an Entity. You are an essence, you…” he trailed off noticing her staring at him.
“I am a what?” she asked.
“You… you are like emotion; you cannot kill emotion.” He replied.
She turned her head up and began to pace around the large amphitheater. They walked in a large arch until they stopped by the bodies. It was the two women called the Twins, both mangled and nearly unrecognizable.
“The simple people here have created pills that can tamper emotion, child. No, you cannot kill emotion, you cannot kill me, but there are worse things than death.” She explained. “My enemies… they can…”
Suffering paused as the two bodies began to glow.
“Wha…” She said unbelieving.
Taylor’s bodie glowed a bright green while Jamylle’s glowed a bright blue. The light grew brighter and brighter, to the point that it began to hurt. Scath felt his skin burning, while the creatures around him began to flash off into ashes.
“No… NO!!!!! NOT THEM!” Suffering screamed.
From the Twins bodies rose an orb each, one green, one blue. They hovered then began to orbit each other in a slow rhythmic dance. They flashed brighter with each word spoken.
“We will fight you for as long as it takes, Entities can die.” They spoke in unison.
“No!”
Suffering screamed out in the sky as if speaking to someone else that was not there with them.
“We had a deal!” she screamed out.
“You were the first to break the deal.” The Twins said.
The blue orb slowly disappeared while the green stayed behind.
“One last goodbye.” Taylors voice echoes from the orb.
The orb then shot down into the ground, shattering the rocky floor in the entire amphitheater, releasing the build up of volcanic pressure. Everything and everyone in the room and the entire underground facility was obliterated completely, but two.
Scath stood protected from the inferno by a raving shadow woman next to him. In the middle of the cataclysm, Scath felt his body be broken down and everything went dark for him, but for only a moment. His senses returned, finding himself standing in a forest. His robes burned off from the fires and seeing that the fire had been transported into the landscape around him, he began to move.
“Time to go.”
