Andrew had to shut his eyes. After the incredible pain that Taylor had inflicted on him… no that wasn’t right. The pain was necessary, and the fact that he could feel his arm and legs, and not the dull and distant pain when they were torn from him, only made what she did more real for him.
Ander was trapped in a prison of stone and thick roots; he could do nothing but stare forward and what he saw made him cry. He watched his mistress get torn apart, and only wished he could cover his ears from the terrible cries, but all he could do was close his eyes and cry himself.
Minutes turned to hours and hours turned to days. The only thing that happened was that at some point during his imprisonment was fire. Flame and magma poured through and burden the bodies of the men who had trained him along with what was left of the demonic creatures. The heat built up was incredible uncomfortable, but whatever magic Taylor had placed on him, had kept him safe from the worse of it. But then everything exploded, and he was knocked unconscious.
Andrew woke up. he found himself lying on rough ground. A sharp rock jutted into his lower back, and he rolled over to rub down the area. The release led him to believe that he had been lying there for a while.
“What the…”
He grunted and pushed himself to his feet. Andrew shouted when he noticed the slithering green and viny arm. Then screamed again when noticing the lack of pants and lower half that was made up of the same vines. Flowers grew all around his body, then died and flaked off.
The memories were faint, but they came back, and Andrew found himself back on his knees crying for the fate of his mistress.
It was then that he noticed his surroundings. He was in the center of an enormous crater. It looked nearly a mile across and noting stood in his vision but destruction and rubble and… and… and two glowing orbs.
One was green, and one was blue. They moved towards Andrew.
“Stop!” he shouted and raised his hands.

The blue one let out a cooing noise. No, it was not a cooing noise, was it laughing?
“I think I did the same thing when I first received that staff.” It glowed brighter with each word.
“Don’t make fun of him.” the green one scolded.
Andrew recognized the voices, it was… was it? Could it be?
“Come Andrew, we must find the others.” The green one said.
“If that is your real name.” the blue one said, then laughed.
“You need to grow up.” the green one said.
“We are gods now; I have plenty of time.” The blue one relied.
