Various noises can be heard on the individual stalls along the street. 

Each merchant made a makeshift portable stage to stand on and highlight their product as to gather the attention of the onlookers

It's not as grandeur as the auction in the 50th  floor but it is an auction so I technically didn't lie

And so I started strolling around looking for particularly nothing, this is a small town after all, I can't expect an legendary weapon to suddenly show up here in a no name backwater town. 

That said, ever since I started walking around earlier I've bought many useful- ehem many things that I saw in the auction including this cool black mask that I'm wearing right now along with this full black raincoat. They have no particular ability except vanity but they're cool so... 

Ughh fuck it I have spending problems alright?! Don't judge me! 

Climbing the tower is not my priority right now so there's no rush, I do need to get strong though, I need strong allies too so I think I'll need to make my own guild in the future. 

"Now for our next product!! An Elvean slave caught from the outskirts of Viane!!! The bid will start at 500 teria-" 

"Liberation for all the slaves!!!"

Now this is an unexpected turn of events

Anyway let's check the commotion

"What happened to him" 

I asked as if I never saw what happened beforehand

"Are you a doctor? He's been stabbed in the chest" 

The mc said, looking incredibly worried

Bruh I think he pays you minimum wage, do you really need to be concerned that much? 

"Oh god if he dies who's gonna pay me!!" 

Never mind he has a whole other reason why he's worried

"Don't shout, let me see his chest" 

As I say that the mc removed the clothes of merchant and it revealed a wound- Its not that deep actually

Since I'm gonna be a wanted criminal after this I might as well grab what I can

"You slave girl, come with me."

And with a cool voice I grabbed the slave girl along with some other stuff that I can grab.

Today is the day. 

I said in my mind as I double checked my clothes, getting ready to meet Salia

"A bouquet of pomeca flower along with a basket of pomeca fruit, that should be enough..." 

That kid has always been such a rascal in this town ever since he was little, I'm still young myself so I don't know his parents but gramps did say that his parents we're both adventurer, that's why he's always here just looking around hoping that someday he'll become an adventure and find out what happened to his parents. 

Estal have such a sad backstory, seeing him buying equipment must mean he must've finally made up his mind. I'm so proud of him... 

Why am I suddenly thinking of him? I must focus on my goal too now that he's resolved himself to reach his goal... 

And just like that I departed from my humble shop and went towards the bakery.
