Chapter 5: Vol 1 – Chapter 5 (Discovery)

• 3^rd Person POV

Entering the world of ‘Eidolon’ Evan is back where he logged out as he move quite fast to the general store shopkeeper. Since Umbra is with him, he felt safe to write more words to his notepad to the shopkeeper. The old man read it quite quickly.

“I see, I see you want a robe that’s not brown in colour, and some napkins?” He seems to be confused at the last item Evan wanted to purchase. Before sighing, the shop keeper thought “He reminds me of my grandchild who wanted to try every tiny bits in the world”

“Here ya go, everything for 1 gold. Mind you the robe I have isn’t enchanted for fancy folks. Ouh? You want to purchase more Napkins? Alright…” Shopkeeper gets more confused. “What he’s going to do with all of these napkins?” The shopkeeper muses while seeing the figure dressed into green robe.

So far, Evan bought 5 napkin packs which contained around 10 of each so he has 50 individual napkins. Instead of trying to infuse them one by one, Evan thought of 1 pack at a time as such he held the pack of napkin on an alleyway with Umbra beside him.

He occasionally give treats to Umbra whenever he went on alert and sensed someone who comes too close for comfort as Evan begin the infusion process.

The flow of mana being redirected and soaked into the napkin pack that he held as he thinned out the threads, so it is easier for it to enter. In addition, he took care to make sure they cannot leak from its container.

The process took quite a while approximately 1 hours for 1 napkin pack as he then realigns the flow of mana to make the intended effects of the broom with added benefit this time. He heard a ping, but he opted to ignore it.

Upon opening his eyes, the napkin pack he held has been turned magical.
