Ferwen and Elijah boarded the lava train, and found a seat.
Elijah had to pay for both as Ferwen would recieve his pay from Braen, and all his other belongings had been destroyed in his original confrontation with the sorcerer that Elijah had already forgotten the name of.
"So", Elijah started with a wide smile, "we have time. What's the plan?"
"What do you mean?" Ferwen was confused.
"The method!"
"You mean a Method. It is similar to a warrior's martial path, but instead of setting a path at tier three, rogues and outlaws decide a Method."
"So a Method is a subclass?"
Ferwen considered for a moment before agreeing "it is the roughish equivalent of a subclass, yes."
"How did you know I was on the verge of becoming a Method?" Elijah asked.
"A special ability. On the matter, I suggest you don't delay your ascension- the Methods of rogues are innate, unlike martial paths, and delaying would not grant any benefits. You should do so when we return to Braen's," Ferwen suggested.
Elijah mulled it over in his head, and realized that, as someone with much more experience, both physical and metaphysical, Ferwen knew a lot more about this world then he did.
"I'll do so as you suggest."
They spent the rest of the seven hour long ride by Ferwen retelling adventures and funny stories.
Eventually they reached Melire once again, leaving the lava train and setting twords Braen's place.
Elijah entered the 'DrinKIng bReard' with Ferwen right behind him.
"Heya Brian, I'm back!"
"It's Braen, n'so soon?"
"Yeah and I've brought a guest!"
