Morning arrived and Elijah woke up.
Rolling from the bed and landing in his feet, he leaped in the air exclaiming "this is the best day OW!" Bumping his head on the cieling, his cheer was cut short.
Rubbing his head and looking to the side where Sheridan slept, he was wide awake and wary, his knife in his hand and looking around with a vigilant gaze. Seeing as nothing attacked them, he calmed down, looking at Elijah with a hate-filled gaze.
"Sorry."
They slowly prepared to set for the tailor again, using more coin to get a meal, exchanging coins to pieces at a bank, and then setting off at noon. Elijah easily found the place again, this time majorly more clean.

Yrtwen was especially excited.
She had been making clothes for three centuries, and at one point during her one hundred and fifteenth year had the displeasure of being coerced into working for a royal court. The intrigue was not fun. Having escaped from such a predicament with the help a now-known adventurer, she had a soft spot for those who took up the profession. Still-despite all her trials, clothes-making was still her passion; something that was not normally seen in elves. After the incident with the court, she decided to seclude herself and focus solely on designs rather then making, reserving the latter only for those who chanced upon her shop. When a pair had stumbled in the other day, although she acted stern, she secretly hoped they'd find their way back.
Especially such an unusual pair. The one with gold eyes was weird enough, as she had only met three others in her six centuries away from her birthplace. The other one was...
All over the place. He was predominantly of tabaxi lineage, yet looked nothing like the bipedal felines. His other half was, unexpectedly, even more inhuman.
*CLUNK*
She let out an exasperated sigh. didn't understand why they knocked so loud- she wasn't deaf!
Sheridan entered, muttering "idiot," under his breath, which Elijah heard and responded "am not!" Entering after him, rubbing his head.
"Are you the same person as yesterday?" The tailor asked.
"I would hope not," Elijah answered, "everyday is a renewal, and every morning- a rebirth! No one remains the same as the were previously, even if the changes are minute on particular days, they accumulate!"

The tailor rolled her eyes and sighed. "it seems you're ready for new wear. Tell me, what is it you wish of a tailor?"
"Oh, oh! Do you enchant items?" Elijah asked.
"Don't be ridiculous," Sheridan chided.
"Of course," Yrtwen answered with a nod, and Sheridan turned his incredulous gaze on her, eyebrows raised in surprise. Elijah was excited to the moon.
"Though doing so would cost a significant amount..."
And with that, the heartbreak on Elijah's face was plain for all to see.
Sheridan interrupted Elijah's grand disappointment, saying "ignore my friend there, he's, as I've recently discovered, very... expressive. We're here because this one needs a new 'drobe, From head to toe."
Yrtwen gained a glint in her eye, her eyes flashing in what Sheridan felt was a dangerous manner.
"Yes, well, he does seem to be lacking some. For what purpose does your friend require a dress?"
"To wear!" Sheridan glared at him, and Elijah asked "what?"
Rolling his eyes, he spoke to Yrtwen, "darker colors would service him better, and something that may be stretched beyond normal wear. Easy to move in and not to flamboyant in design."
She listened to the requirements, and then stared intently at Elijah.
When Elijah started feeling uncomfortable, she turned and went to the back of the shop, returning after she retrieved a massive shirt. She fastened some parts with needles, and requested Elijah put it on. In the back, fool!
After, she did the same with pants, and asked Elijah of their comfort, to which he praised. Choosing colors and designs, shortly after they were presented with a complete set of cloths, including undergarments.
Yrtwen offered, then, to add an enchantment to keep the clothes clean, stating a price that would not pierce their pockets. Of course, Elijah agreed immediately, and after applying the enchantment, they set off, Elijah thankful for the new clothes that fit him perfectly; almost like magic.
Yrtwen stared by the doorway, leaning on the frame with her arms folded and shaking her head. She hoped her secret enchantment would be enough to keep him safe, though she wasn't sure to the effects or the strength of it, it would certainly give a little support in times she knew would be chaotic. This was the excuse she gave herself when applying the enchantment she designed for so long but never had a chance to use.
