Chapter 13: (S1) EP 11|Strong Girl

“What are the both of you doing at Ryushi’s house?”

“We were just taking our leave.” Zao said walking past him.

“You know that I can’t just let you go right.” He said holding Zao’s shoulder with his left hand.

“I think there is a misunderstanding here, if I were you I would let go of my shoulder, before I will make sure that leaving this place will be hard for the both of us.” Zao replied.

“And what if I do-”

*SWOOSH!* Right as he was finishing his sentence, Zao took his hand, put his feet in front of him, and slammed him on the ground.

“Then this happens” Zao said looking down on him.

*Tsk*

“You guys are still here?” Suda said walking in the hallway.

“Yasubo!”

Seeing Yasubo on the ground with Zao standing over him did not make the scenario any better.

“We were going to take out leaves.”

“You…” Suda said with an angered expression, as she walked towards Zao Yasuba held her back.

“Just leave it, Suda.”

“Let’s go Xy.”

“Alright…”

As soon as they walked outside a group of young kids surrounded the house.

“Who are these people?”

“Are these Ryushi’s friends?”

‘This place is pissing me off.’ Zao thought.

“Zao…”

‘Zao really is a whole different person when he’s angry…’ Xy thought.

[The moment when Ryushi panicked]

“RYUSHI!!!”

“What happened for him to react like that?” Xy asked.

“I don’t know… The only thing I noticed was him completely losing it.”

*Hmm…*

‘I’m sad we didn’t get any answers…’

“Anyways, don’t worry Xy, I’m sure there are other people who can help.”

[At Ryushi’s house]

“Master! You’re awake…” Suda softly said.

“Suda… Where is Xy?”

“Xy? You mean that person from earlier? What did they do to you!”

“I need to speak the- Ouch!”

“My head…”

“You need rest master, let us take care of you.” Yasubo said walking in the room with a wet towel.

“No… I need to speak with them!”

“Master… You promised me…” Suda cryingly said.

“Suda…”

[16 Years ago]

A young parentless Suda was about to die on a sideway, at this point of time Ryushi had recently opened his special dorm meant for children without parents, Yasubo was one of his first students.

Ryushi took Suda under his wing and brought him back to his dorm.

“M- mommy…” Suda said after waking up in a room that had a large opened window that would let her oversee the play field Ryushi’s students always went to play at.

*Knock knock*

“Mommy?”

“Finally awake?” Ryushi smilingly said with a plate of riceballs and a cup of tea, Yasubo walked behind him as he was curious.

“Who are you?” Suda said rubbing her eye with a cute surprised face.

“I have brought you some food, you must be hungry.”

“Is… This all for me?”

Suda grew up in a small neighborhood living with a very poor family, unfortunately, on one day as the family were celebrating Suda’s fourth birthday, an Kosho had attacked the city she lived in.

(Kosho) is one of the higher ranks the Zipholet (Monsters of the Order of Hollow) are given to.

There are five total ranks a Zipholet can have:

Kyohi - Weak Zipholet, can be defeated by any bronze fighter, Kyohi’s appear the most frequent.

Ikari - Strong Zipholet something only Elite (Golden) fighters should be able to defeat.

Kosho - Commander level Zipholets can only be defeated with either a group of Elites, an exceptional Sheer or an Elite Sheer.

Utsu - High Commanders - A group of Elite Sheers or above are expected to handle an Utsu type Zipholet.

Phantom - Highest member ranking in the Order of Hollow, can only be fought on par with a Great Sheer.

There are five known Phantoms in the Order of Hollow, their appearances are rare.

Phantom’s powers are on par with most Gods powers.

Suda’s father, wanting to protect his family unfortunately died in battle, following the death of Suda’s mother, and her two younger brother and sister.

She was about to be killed but luckily fled the scene, she ran until she couldn’t hold of herself anymore, and collapsed on the ground, where many people would later on walk past, yet nobody gave her a helping hand.

As mentioned earlier, she was living a poor life and was only eating one meal each day, two if her dad was lucky with fishing. Every meal she and her household would eat was as much as 25% of a plate.

Until at the end of the day Ryushi happened to see a small body unconsciously lying on the ground, he took her and asked around if she was anyone’s child.

He did not get any answer.

After spending almost 30 minutes asking around, he later on learned that her family had been killed by the Zipholet, after being told so by an army member.

Ryushi decided to swiftly take Suda, who was still unconscious to his dorm and patch her up, it was his only best option for now.

“Is it good?” Ryushi asked.

“Mhm!” Suda replied with her mouth full.

“Where is my mommy?”

Suda had forgotten her memories of the attack, Ryushi would realize this after being asked that question many times.

“Mommy told me to take care of you. What is your name?”

“I am Suda! Suuudaaa!!!”

“Suda… Nice to meet you, Suda! This is Yasubo.”

“Hi.” Yasubo coldly said.

“Ubo? Yuubo… Yuubo!!!”

This made Ryushi chuckle as he found that a fitting nickname for Yasubo.

“Sounds good, right, Yasubo?”

“No!” He said before running away.

[A few minutes later]

“Mommy said you take care of me?”

“Yes, Suda. But don’t worry, you will see her one day.”

“I miss mommy…” *Sniff*

“Oh don’t cry…”

“Where is daddy?”

“Daddy is with mommy…”

*Sniff*

“Okay, you should get some more sleep.”

Ryushi closed the curtains and tucked her back in her sheets before leaving the room, leaving the door narrowly open so that he could check on her at anytime.

“Sleep well okay-”

*Yaaawn!*

She’s fast asleep…

Suda was lucky enough to not have seen Ryushi walking out of her room with tears in his eyes.

"Master, why are you crying?" A young Yasubo asked him.

"Oh it's nothing, come, it's time for bed."
