“Jeez… I will finish you off quickly, the whole neighborhood will be awake because of you.”

‘Finishing him off won’t do in this place, I’ll have to lure him.’ 

The Zipholet swung repeated strikes of its tentacles at Xy, who had trouble trying to deflect them all with his sword.

*WOOSH!* a large tentacle wrapped around Xy’s body, levitated him, and another tentacle struck Xy’s abdomen with great force, sending him flying.

*Tsk*

Luckily, he landed right at the place where he wished to finish off the monster.

The monster slowly moved towards him with its tentacles, ready to fire them again.

“Alright, big guy.”

*WOOSH!*

It flew at great speed towards Xy, he managed to avoid it but his shoulder had been damaged.

"Gotcha!"

Xy swung down his sword with full strength, and the monster screamed in pain as its head was severed cleanly from its shoulders. It fell on the ground, twitching violently before finally calming down.

He leaped into the sky, and summoned a small fireball in his left hand, he threw it at the Zipholet, and upon contact, a gigantic blaze of fire emitted, burning its body to a crisp with no traces left.

“Urgh, getting hurt on purpose does make the fight easier, but it’s annoying…”

It was after a few seconds that he heard a large explosion coming from a block away.

“What’s that?”

Xy ran towards the scene unsheathing his sword, he arrived at a large bridge that was surrounded by water that led towards a field.

In the middle of the bridge, he saw a young blonde-haired female wearing a white robe fighting off against a Zipholet that seemed like a Seruth type.

‘Shoot, she’ll die at this rate.’

Xy ran towards the scene and lit up his sword with fire, he leaped in the air at great speed, and slashed the Seruth’s head with great force, pushing it backwards at a safe distance.

“Hey, you alright?” Xy asked.

*Cough, cough* “Let me finish him by myself!”

“You seem like you’re hurt. You do know that this is a Seruth, right?”

“Yes, I know…”

She pushed Xy to the side and started her God Invocation technique.

She held her hands on each other and started chanting spells in a language known as the ancient language the older generations of the Aria nation spoke with.

“Ashliva, Lathem, Nishogiya.”

She was engulfed in a yellow aura as she had summoned the Goddess Theia to aid her in battle.

Her eyes turned yellow as the aura intensified, and suddenly, a golden light shone from her body as her hair grew longer and reached the ground behind her.

‘I did not realize that her hair would grow so long.’ Xy thought in awe.

The golden light enveloped the entire area, and lightning bolts shot outwards from her body, striking the Zipholet.

“Zephran, Zanmater, Sylphos!"

The dark sky above created a massive thunderstrike that struck upon the already damaged Zipholet, ending it for good.

Her body was about to fall to the ground but Xy caught her right in time.

“That was impressive.” Xy said.

She gave no response as she seemed exhausted after having used a lot of mana.

…

“Well, well, well. That was quite the show I must say.” A deep and dark voice said in the background.

“Who is that?” Xy said laying the lady on the ground.

He turned around and saw three individuals levitating in the sky, he could already notice that they were not human from the aura they emitted.

They were all clothed in white kimonos that covered their entire body, it tightened up making their body figures appear more transparent, the one who spoke had his arm sleeves cut off, exposing his arms that were covered in tattoos.

“Who are you?” Xy asked.

“We’ve come to retrieve Theia.” He replied.

One of the three moved at the speed of light and appeared right in front of the lady, who was still unconscious, he grabbed her by her neck holding her in the air, the sight angered Xy greatly.

“Hey! Let go of her!” Xy said lighting up his sword again.

His words were no use towards the pale-looking creature, who had his face covered with a mask, wearing a set of black leather gloves.

He put the lady in the right position and slammed his fist right through her abdomen, her eyes popped wide open in shock.

“Hey!” Xy angrily shouted, he ran towards the creature with his sword in his hands, but got apprehended by the second creature that landed right in front of Xy.

His length was unnatural, a tall giant with a slender but muscular body, He was dressed in a unique white kimono with blue stripes on it, his face was covered in undistinguishable runes, he too did not have his kimono sleeved, his arms were exposed, and they were fully covered in black runes.

He had an absolutely cold expression in his dark blue eyes that was slightly covered by his long white hair, Xy noticed that he had a symbol that looked a lot like a fire symbol on his forehead.

“What do you think you’re doing, huh?!” He said with a loud tone.

Xy could barely move as his presence sent chills through his entire body.

*THUD!* 

He afterwards kicked Xy on his chest with great force, normally, humans would not survive a single kick from this specific creature, yet Xy stood right back up and ran towards him.

“AAAGH!”

His sword emitted an extreme amount of fire, Xy slashed his sword towards the creature, a great amount of fire exploded upon contact.

The amount of fire took a little to disappear, after that happened, Xy saw that his attack was blocked with just two fingers.

He afterwards landed a knee on Xy’s abdomen, this time, Xy faltered down in hopelessness.

“Was that all you got?! Come on! Show me more!!!” He exclaimed repeatedly kicking Xy’s body, dealing fatal damage to his body.

“OUGH!”

“Weakness absolutely disgusts me!” He said.

“Extraction is complete.” The other creature said, he held a lifeless unidentifiable body of what seemed to be the Goddess Theia.

Theia could only mutter a few words as she too was on the verge of dying.

“I’m sorry, Yurwa. I'm sorry..."

The one who attacked Xy turned his back, and Xy grabbed his ankle with an absolutely great force that made him fall on his left knee.

“Oh? So you do have something up your sleeve, huh?”

He grabbed Xy by his neck, and held him in the air.

“Are you sure that you’re a human?” He softly said staring into Xy’s angered eyes.

“Alright, Wyz, that’s enough. We’ve captured Theia, nothing else to do here anymore.” The first creature said, he summoned a glowing white sword and slashed it in the air.

A dimensional slash appeared in the sky that allowed them to travel to another dimension. It took the form of a prism that led to a space of nothingness, with an unidentifiable planet being vaguely visible in the midst of it.

The second creature let go of Xy, followed by the third creature, they had all left the place, leaving both bodies for dead.

…

A while passed, and two people arrived at the brutal scene.

“Hey, Tezuka, this must be the boy Ryushi told us about!”

“That must be him. But who is the lady?”

“I don’t know, did they fight with each other? They look horribly wounded.”

“Alright, no time to waste. You grab the lady, I’ll grab Xy.”
