Xy opened his eyes to see that he was lying on a futon, covered in a dark red sheet that warmed his body up well, there stood a lightened-up candle on the window balcony that gave off a pleasant smell.

“Wait… Is this not Ryushi’s house?”

“Not entirely correct, you are in my dorm.” Tezuka replied, standing at the doorway with the door half-opened.

“Who are you?” Xy asked.

“I am Tezuka, I and my student have brought you here.”

“Ah, wait…”

He started to remember what happened last night.

“Where’s the lady?”

“She’s sleeping in the room next door.”

Xy stood up to check up on her, he walked past Tezuka and checked the nearest door, she was indeed resting on a futon, also covered in sheets.

“How did we end up here? All I remember was… Those guys…”

“Oh? The both of you haven’t fought with each other?” Tezuka asked

“No… There were three guys, they looked unordinary.”

“Three guys… What happened after?”

“One of them punched a hole right through that lady’s abdomen, I saw it all, I tried to rescue her but then another one of them attacked me…” Xy replied touching his chest.

“Huh… The pain, it’s gone!”

“Yes.” Tezuka replied with a smile.

“Rani helped us when we got back here with the both of you.”

“Rani? Who’s that?” Xy replied.

“He’s Ryushi’s earliest son.”

“Oh… So he had sons?”

“Yeah, it was him, and Yehuda.”

“Wait a second.”

“Did you just say Yehuda?”

‘No, it can’t be. There is no way that Ryushi was his father…’

“Yes. Ryushi is the leader of the Hachijuro clan. I’m his right hand.”

“I cannot believe this… He is the leader of the infamous berserker's clan?”

Shira gave no response.

“You don’t wanna talk with me?”

“I do, I just… Don’t feel like doing so right now.” She replied.

“It’s about Lothar’s birthday, isn’t it…” Xy replied.

Shira gazed at Xy with eyes of anger, afterwards jumping off the roof, smoothly landing on the ground.

“I’m sorry…” Xy said.

“I should go.”

Xy hasn’t seen her ever since this conversation.

“You’re right, Tezuka. That clan is truly malevolent…”

“You seem sad, do you originate from the Yarion clan?”

“No, I come from the Helong clan.” Xy replied.

“You seem like you know him.” 

“A little bit, Ryushi however knows him better than most people. Do you want something to eat or drink before we head to him?” Tezuka asked.

“No, thanks. Let’s just go.” Xy replied.

“Alright, but… Get dressed up first.”

“Oh, shoot!!!”

“That towel was everything we had for now, my student had just brought the fresh kimonos this morning, Rani had to undress you completely to properly heal your body.”
