“Is it about my parents.” Xy coldly said.
“Well, yes…” Ryushi replied
“I don’t care what you will say, I love my parents, and they are my real parents. I don’t remember being taken care of by anyone else other than my mother and my father.” Xy said closing his eyes.
“I understand the frustration, Xy… We only want to tell you the truth.”
“What truth? Why have I been chosen to do this? I just want to find my brother…”
“I am sure you will find out more about your brother, I can assure you that.”
“I don’t get it… I just don’t.”
“You will have to visit Nueleth if you want it or not, Xy. Or else humanity shall truly perish.” Ryushi said.
‘This is unfair…’ Xy thought.
…
*Knock knock*
“Hi, father!”
“Rani, you’ve come at the right time.”
‘So this is Rani, the brother of Yehuda?’ Xy thought.
“How are you feeling, Xy?” Rani asked softly smiling.
“I’m feeling alright, thank you alot for taking care of us.”
“Oh no worries! Did I interrupt something?”
“No, Ryushi was just about to take his leave to get some more rest.” Tezuka said.
“Oh no, we will leave, no worries. Let’s go, Xy.” Rani said.
Xy closed the door as he was the last one to leave the room alongside Rani and his assistant. Tezuka and Ryushi were left alone.
“Ryushi. Why did you lie about Chaiser?”
“If I were to tell him what happened he would be engulfed in rage. This message was more important to bring him at the moment. He will find out sooner or later.”
*Sigh*, “Where did it go wrong with that man…” Tezuka said.
…
“Is this your dorm?” Xy asked.
“Yes it is, it is the dorm closest to my father’s house!”
“I see…”
“Greetings, Xy. I’m Yuka, Ryushi’s assistant!”
“Nice to meet you.” Xy replied.
“Are you sure you don’t need more rest by the way?” Rani asked.
“Not really, I feel the need to stretch my arms a little.”
“Right, well, your sword is still intact. However, we only fight with wooden swords.”
“That’s alright. Is it okay if I lend one and swing around a little further?” Xy asked.
“Ofcourse! Yuka, would you bring him one?”
“Coming right up!” Yuka replied walking at a fast pace towards a small wooden building that had numerous sets of wooden swords and other weapons in it.
…
“Here you go.” Yuka said handing over the wooden sword at Xy.
“Thank you, I’ll just head to the nearest hill. Won’t take too long.”
“Take your time, we will be preparing some food for when you’re back.”
…
Xy walked through the grassy fields in order to reach the mid-high hill that allowed him to oversee Rani’s dorm, it had a large tree in the middle of it, and a few wooden poles
“This should do.”
*WOOSH*
*SWING*
*CRACK*
*Pants*, “Who even were those guys…” Xy said reminiscing about the moment he was apprehended by the three creatures on the bridge.
“My arms feel weak…”
Xy continued his swings, so much so that he ended up damaging the tree to a degree.
“You recover fast.”
Xy turned around and saw the same individual Zao had floored when they were here for the last time.
“It’s you, what was your name again?” Xy asked.
“I’m Yasubo.”
“Hey, look. I feel bad for what happened that day.”
“Especially after what my brother did…”

“It’s alright. I did think that the both of you were up to no good, but Rani told me a few things.”
“What did he tell you?”
“Most likely the things Ryushi told you, I suppose.”
“Right…” Xy said, he noticed that Yasubo’s left hand was not visible.
“Oh, are you looking at my arm? Well, what’s left of my arm.” Yasubo said.
“You’re one-armed…?” Xy asked.
“Correct, I lost my arm due to a disease. Rani and his medical team had removed my left arm, this disease would otherwise spread throughout my whole body, sadly.”
“I see… When did this happen?”
“I was abandoned by my family… I come from the Yarion clan, you know, Lothar’s clan.”
‘Seriously…’ Xy thought.
“My father is Lothar’s closest acquaintance. When my household learned about my disease, they left me for dead. I was about four years old.”
“But Ryushi luckily took care of me and brought me to Rani, ever since I turned five years old, I’ve been living with just one arm.”
“But enough about me, I’ve come here to see how good you are.” Yasubo said, aiming his wooden sword towards Xy.
“Y- you want to spar?”
“Did I stutter?” Yasubo said, he rushed towards Xy at a great speed, Xy did not have enough time to react but heedfully avoided the slash.
The slash let off a firm slash of air that caused his hair to flutter.
“What is this strength?!” Xy thought.
Yasubo wasted no time and changed the trajectory of his sword, slashing it upwards from the back of his hand, again, catching Xy off guard.
“You have good instincts, but you think too much.” Yasubo said.
He went for continuous slashes, his arm moved at such speed that the slashes were extremely tough for Xy to deflect.
Yasubo saw an opening and dealt a powerful slash from the right on Xy, successfully landing it.
“Fine, let’s do it, Yasubo.” Xy said with a serious expression on his face, yet Yasubo held a very calm facial expression.
They both swung at each other with great speed, and Xy started to become more aggressive, wanting to hit a strike, Yasubo saw through this and easily avoided Xy’s attacks.
“I thought you were better than this.” Yasubo said.
“I am. I can be way stronger than you are!” Xy said, as he charged towards Yasubo again.
“Not today.” Yasubo said, before Xy could land a blow.
“That was close.” Yasubo said, he then swung his sword at Xy, knocking him down.
“I hate to say this, but I knew you weren’t gonna win.”
Yasubo sat on his right knee and stared at Xy, who was still frustrated.
“You lack focus.”
“Focus…?”
“Yeah, you should have been thinking more about when I attack, you had to think about dodging and then think about your next move. That’s why you were getting so many hits, but only a few landed. Your speed alone isn’t enough. You need to focus harder. If you can get your mind into the fight, you will be able to take down any opponent, no matter how strong they are. But if you don’t, even though you may be faster than them, you won’t be able to land any strikes. And that is why you lose.”
“So, you mean to tell me that if I wanted to beat you, I needed to focus hard on what you were doing?”
“Yes. But only moderately, you need to be at peace at all times. If you overthink it, you will end up messing up your balance, like what just happened.”
“Then, I guess I need to train my mind more, right…” Xy replied
“Everyone does. But you became overwhelmed as soon as I proved you wrong that I could defeat you in a fight. You underestimated me with the fact that I only have one arm.”
“I have to admit, that is true…”
“It’s okay, it was not the first time this happened.”
“I have to know, what is your rank, Yasubo?”
Yasubo stood back up and turned around gazing at the afternoon sky that was about to reach sunset.
“I’m a Great Sheer.”
“A Great Sheer? You became a Great Sheer by just using one arm?!” Xy replied.
Yasubo gazed at Xy over his left shoulder, giving off a soft smile
“Nothing will be impossible when you set your mind on something. Think the same about finding your brother.”
Xy paused in awe.
‘That’s incredible…’ Xy thought.
“Xy, I know that you wish to embark on a journey across the world, but right now, you’re not ready for it. Rani wishes to teach you the sword. He was my master, as well.”
“I’m not ready for it? But… I don’t have enough time…” Xy replied facing downwards.
“Xy, you are not ready. Be reassured. Everyone tries to become better in order to find the treasure.”
‘To think that Rani was the one who taught Yasubo the sword…’
“Let’s head back, you should get more rest and eat some food.” Yasubo said walking down the hill.
“Alright…”
