[20 Years ago, Maledictus]

*Maledictus is the world where the Order of Hollow is situated at. Ziphot’s essence has made it so that Maledictus stays connected to Gaius, yet The Bridge is the only known way to enter Gaius.*

“I suppose it is time, my Lord. He has been reborn.” Nargaroth said.

*Nargaroth, #1 Phantom of the Order of Hollow.*

They both were alone with each other inside Cifer’s throneroom, a dark vast room that was slightly lit up by a brim light, there was an extremely long dark table in the middle of it, surrounded by a bunch of high chairs that also had a dark color. The table had silver skulls on some parts. The was a large window allowing them to overlook the everlasting night sky.

*The everlasting night sky was the result of Ziphot’s defeat during his war against Numen. The sky in Maledictus has turned dark ever since the Great War.*

*Cifer, lord of the Order of Hollow.*

“It will not be a worry, my revenge on humanity shall remain.” Cifer replied.

“Are you sure that it won’t be a worry? Lord Cifer, the last Alphagar.”

“Eventually, he would have most likely been killed if it was not for me. After all, I am the source of all powers the strongest nations of Gaius possess.”

“Control over those nations’ powers, yet you hold no possession over your sister’s powers, Nueleth. The last Siraph.” Nargaroth replied.

“Nueleth betrayed me and decided to stay with the descendants of our own kind, the Alphagar, even after the extension of the Siraphs.”

“And then have the nerve to conceal herself within the nation the Siraphs once inhabited they now refer to as the Aria nation. That she built herself…” Cifer said with an angered expression.

“If it were not for her… Humanity would have been destroyed for long already.” Cifer said, standing up, walking towards the large square-shaped window.

“But Lord, that Child might be a large threat to us.” Nargaroth replied, standing behind him.

“I fought for Alphagar, and they betrayed me. His case will be similar to mine. He will fight for humanity with the ones that wish for his demise. He will visit me, I know it. And I shall tell him the truth.”

“I see... I shall take my leave.” Nargaroth said turning back, and closing the door behind him that led to a dark hallway.

“Nueleth…” Cifer said with a soft but angered voice.

“Just wait, Nueleth. the Child of Balance has a mind of its own. You will not be able to deceive him.”

[Present time]

“Xy, when we both meditated, what did you see?” Ryushi asked.

“I’m not sure, I can’t recall.” Xy replied.

“I see. Well, there were a few things I saw.”

“There will be a certain God that will make you carry the greatest burden on your shoulders. That God will try and cause a million souls to die. It is a task only balance can prevent.”

“Amongst the Gods, there exist laws. One of them is that a God is not allowed to bring demise towards a human being. I first learned about this when I studied the foundation of Gaius.”

“I don’t quite understand, sir…”

“Let me explain it to you.”

“Gaius did not start with the nine nations. There were the Silphars, and the Alphagars. Those two species were direct creations of Numen. Hence why he did not want his Gods to kill his own creation.”

“The Silphars would later on go extinct. The Alphagars would call their descendants humans, Numen’s rule still holds effects on us, descendants of the Alphagars to this day.”

“This of course troubled the God that wishes for your demise, Xy. His only way to kill you is to summon the Kumo no Ki.”

“I see…” Xy replied.

*The Kumo no Ki is a gateway for the Kumo no Mori, the graveyard of Gods. The Kumo no Ki takes the form of a planetary large tree that has a large hole inside of it, and can only be summoned by the Bleeding Eye.*

“But for a God to summon the Kumo no Ki, one would have to sacrifice a part of his own soul, and the souls of a million individuals.”

“The Bleeding Eye requires a God to sacrifice a part of their soul. The blood pouring down from this eye would be the root of the Kumo no Ki.”

“This puts the existence of humanity in great danger, the Kumo no Mori is not meant for humans, it is meant for Gods, or those with Godlike powers. This brings unbalance to this world, and you must prevent this.”

“But why would a God want to do this? Who is this God?” Xy asked.

“I don’t know who this God is, but this God has to have ties with Qelena.”

“Qelena…” Xy replied touching his chest.

“I will have to tell you something, Xy.”
