Chapter 27: (S1) EP 24|The Lady In The Suit

“Hey, hey! You there!” 

Yurwa turned her head around, holding a basket that had the medicine and some food in it, she saw a group of three middle-aged men, dressed in filthy cloth, and all had a disturbing expression on their faces, she could already tell that they were up to no good.

“What’s your name, little girl?” One of the men asked.

“I- I’m… Yurwa…” 

They all broke into hysterical laughter, palming their faces in joy.

“Come here, we have some sweets!”

“No… I need to be home for my grandma…” Yurwa replied in anxiousness.

She turned back and started walking at a fast pace.

“I’m scared…” She softly said as tears started flowing down her cheeks.

She kept her head down and kept on moving, only to be surrounded by the same men.

“Yurwa was it right? We said we have candy for you, we are being very generous, so you better come alongside us.” The tallest of the three men said.

She started breathing rapidly as she felt extremely panicked, she did not have enough time to respond to one of the men grabbing her, holding her under his arms, afterwards walking away with the two others.

“Haha! You really thought you could run away? We will be having a lot of fun with you!”

She tried her hardest wrangling and punching the neck of the man that was holding her, but it was of no help.

“Hey, mind dropping her off?”

“Who’s that?” The man on the right said, looking around himself.

“I don’t know, hold the kid, someone’s trying to be tough.”

A lady walked out of the shadows of an alley, she was dressed in a black suit, wearing black gloves, her sharp green eyes made everyone in her field of view frightened.

“I am going to give the three of you ten seconds, let the child go, and you are able to live.” She said with a cold tone.

“Oh- oh… It's some f#cking lady!” The tallest man said.

They broke out another laughter, mocking the lady in the suit.

One of the men walked up to her and said.

“Also feeling lonely? We have always room for more, you know?”

The moment his left hand was about to make contact with her shoulder, in a flick of a moment, it was cut off. It happened so fast that it took the man more than a few seconds to react to it, as everything happened in slow motion.

“You have seven more seconds.” She said, walking towards the other two, whilst the man laid on his back behind her, silent, but his eyes full of despair.

“What did you do to him! You’re dead, you b!tch!!!” The smallest man shouted.

He rushed at her with his large machete, swinging at her a few times, she dodged his fast attacks like it was childs play.

“Five seconds.” She said with a cold tone, holding the head of the man upwards by his throat, his eyes were about to pop up due to the sheer amount of pressure she put on his throat.

She threw him off and slowly started walking towards her final obstacle.

“Three seconds.”

“Heh, who do you think you are?” He exclaimed, he let go of Yurwa, a strange dark red aura started surrounding his body, his whole body was transforming into that of a despicable monster.

“You think you’re all that? They’re just my pawns, let me show you my real strength!” He screamed as his voice distorted, a large wind blazed through the entire scene, the lady’s hair  started flickering, yet she seemed completely unfazed.

“Fool.” She said, walking past the abominable creature, who stood still, with his eyes and mouth wide open.

His body exploded in bits and pieces behind the back of the lady who was approaching Yurwa, who was crying her heart out.

She sat on her knees and wiped off her tears.

“They were pretty scared, weren’t they?” She said with a soft smile, closing her eyes.

Yurwa stuck her head against her chest, firmly grabbing her suit, and continued crying, she stroked her back as a few people could be heard approaching the scene.

“Let’s bring you back, okay?” She said

She held Yurwa in her arms and started walking through the crowd that was in total shock to see the gruesome scene, they could not notice the lady, she had concealed her presence, and the most the people could do is feel a soft breeze of wind passing through them.

“What happened?!” 

The two men were still speechless, the lady overlooked the scene over her shoulders with a cold stare, she snapped her fingers, and the two men started crying out loud.

“Don’t look, let’s go.”  She said covering Yurwa's bright eyes.
