[YURWA’S POV]

‘I can never forget the memories Theia and I have shared… It is because of her my grandmother is still alive, ever since she had to move to the elderly center, Theia was there for me for all these years…’

“I feel something dreadful approaching…” Vadea said.

“Dreadful? What might that be?” Yurwa replied.

“That boy might be in great danger. Ilnir told me about this around 20 years ago…”

[ZAO’S POV]

"Ugh! Why is he not answering my calls, this dumbass!” 

*Door opens*

“Ooi! Zao san, I brought you some food- OUCH!*

Uldok walked inside Zao’s bedroom, he couldn’t finish his sentence as Zao slammed a pillow against his face.

“How many times do I have to tell you, you can’t keep on coming into my room like this, tsk!”

*Rubbing his cheek* “Oh come on Zao, cool down, I brought some food!”

“Besides, it’s only you who’s complaining about this.” Shira said walking into the room behind Uldok.

Shira looked outside of Zao’s window sitting on his bed, with the other two clattering in the background whilst eating.

[A few minutes later]

“There’s something odd going on.” Zao said, standing back up.

“What is it?” Uldok replied lying on the ground, facing the ceiling.

“It’s about Xy, he never leaves my messages unread for this long, it's been 2 days since he was here at home.”

“Hmm, maybe he’s traveling alone?” Uldok said.

“I was going to ask the same.” Shira said, she still seemed to be worried about Xy regardless of her anger towards him.

“Where were the both of you for the last time?” She asked.

“Well, we went to a Shaman, then the Dragon’s Keep… Wait, the SHAMAN!”

“What is it?” Uldok said turning his head towards Zao.

“We both went to this old guy, and… Well, things escalated, but that’s a story for another time, they must know more.” 

“Shaman? Do they still exist?” Shira asked with a curious expression.

“Yes, they really do! Besides, I and Xy both got marked as Hunters!”

“WHAT?! The myths were true?!” Uldok shouted.

“You guys okay up there?” Mari asked from the first floor.

“Yes, mom! My bad!” Zao replied.

“But yes, they are true. He must know more, I just feel it.” 

“Well, let’s go then.” Uldok said, standing up.

“Ah, man… My dragon’s still at the Keep, I’ll have to fly with one of you.”

“All good, you can hop on mine.” Uldok said.

“Great, let’s go.”

The three were walking towards Uldok's house, they had to walk through a small forest before reaching the main road leading to the village Uldok lived at.

“How can you be so sure that Xy might be there?” Uldok asked.

“I’m not, I just have this slight feeling, a bad feeling…” 

‘A bad feeling…’ Shira thought.

*WHOOSH*

A powerful wind blazed through their bodies, as they uncovered their hands from their eyes, they saw a person levitating in the air.

“Hm, he’s not among you?” He asked with a loud tone.

“Who the hell are you?” Zao asked.

“My name is Earus, I am the High Earl, of Ilgadir's Dei.”

*The Alis Dei. It is known to be the military arm of the World of Dawn, much like the Order of Hollow, it is led by seven different Heads.

To put it into an easy-to-understand perspective, The World of Dawn is currently ruled by Ark, who is also the Head of the 1st Dei.

Each Dei has its own High Earl and a group of five Earls. 

The High Earl has direct connections with the Dei, while the High Earl sends operations received by the Dei to the five Earls of their specific Dei. The Earls are much like Squad Commanders that oversee the general Squad.

Igaldir is one of the seven Heads that alongside Ark and five other Heads govern the World of Dawn, only three Heads, with Ark included have fought alongside Numen during the Great War.*

“What do you have to do with us?” Zao asked.

“I’ve been tasked by our High Earl to search for Ilnir’s child.” Earus said.

“Ilnir’s child- Where is Xy!” Zao said.

“Is that what you mortals name him as?” 

“What do you mean?” Uldok asked.

“That boy is no mere human, he’s the reason my lord’s heart was broken… And him I must destroy.” 

“You’re not destroying anyone!” Uldok exclaimed as he summoned his silver claws that covered his arms.

“I don’t know what bullsh!t you’re crapping about, but touch my friend, and you’re dead.” Uldok said with a serious tone.

“Who do you think you are? Lower your tone when you talk to me.” Earus said, he swung his sword towards Uldok, he nearly managed to dodge it, but the slash left great damage on the floor.

“Watch out!” Zao shouted, he activated his purple flames and fired a great amount of the fire towards Earus, temporarily covering his eyesight.

Earus leaped through the fires and went for a massive slash, Shira jumped in front and deflected it.

“You mortals aren’t as bad as I thought!” He said.

Zao was found jumping above Earus, and threw a massive flame attack on him.

A large smoke covered the area as the result of Zao's attacks.

The smoke disappeared after a few seconds, and Earus was nowhere to be found.

"What was that?!" Uldok said.

"That wasn't a Zipholet." Shira said.

"It was a God, but why would a God intervene with us?"

“I don't know. But we must head to Xy as fast as possible..." Zao replied
