“Vadea…?”

“Well, thank you for saving me. I was seriously about to be killed.” 

“No need to thank me. This is what was vital to happen.” Vadea said helping Xy stand upwards.

“Xy, it is because of destiny we have met.”

“Destiny- Wait, how do you know my name?!” 

“As I said, I am Ilnir’s Hysteria. Of course I would know the name of Ilnir’s son.”

“Ugh, here we go again with this son of a God stuff. I don’t understand where you got this from, but I won’t be fooled this easily.” Xy said turning around and walking towards the large gate that led to the city.

“Turning your back from saving the world from imbalance? Not entirely expected from you, Xy.” Vadea said with a smile.

“You don’t wish to seek more answers regarding your brother, Chaiser was his name. Right?”

Xy froze in the moment.

“What did you say?”

“Search through the Eye, and all of your answers will be answered. Or that is what the majority discloses, right?”

“Where is Chaiser.” Xy said with a loud and serious tone, walking towards Vadea.

“Do you think you will be able to find any answers by just walking this path of adventure by yourself?” 

“What do you mean by that?” 

Vadea closed her eyes as she sat on her right knee before Xy.

“I have come here to offer myself to become your sword, God of Balance.”

“Why are you doing this, Vadea?”

“It is your duty to prevent demise from overwhelming the world of Gaius.”  

‘Why is she giving me a reassuring feeling… I don’t feel hostile at all, it feels like I’ve known her for my whole life…’

“Please stand up, I’m not fond of all this formality.” Xy replied.

“I’m trying to process what is going on, who send you to me?”

“Your father sent me.” Vadea replied.

“Stop with this father stuff! I don’t know who Ilnir is, nor who Qelena is.”

“As expected. Take my hand, and I will show you the truth about your origins.” Vadea said with a smile.

Xy stared at Vadea as she reached her hand onto him.

“...Nevermind this, just leave me alone. You got the wrong person.” Xy said turning his back towards Vadea.

“I am sure that I am not speaking to the wrong person, am I, …”

She spoke out a name Xy had never heard in his life, yet it made him falter down on his knees.

“W- what is this- Feeling…” 

His eyes started to spin, as he was about to lose consciousness, Vadea caught him right before his face fell to the ground.

[The next morning]

Xy woke up in the same room he slept in when he arrived here alongside Yurwa.

He let out a long yawn and held his head in pain.

“What is this headache I’m feeling? What happened last night… Wait, that woman…”

“I must find her right no- *Ouch!* What’s this headache, man…”

“Besides, that name… I don’t even recall what it was, but I suddenly felt a strong surge of nostalgia, I saw many things flying through my mind, I need to talk with her again.”

*Knock knock*

The door opened, and Tezuka walked into the room with a plate of food in his hand.

“Good morning, sleepyhead.”

“T- Tezuka...”

"You've been sleeping for a long time."

"I have?" Xy replied.

"Indeed, we couldn’t find out where you were after dinner, my daughter found you sleeping in this room. To our surprise."

'That was all a dream?!' Xy thought with a shocked face.

"What is wrong? You seem aggravated."

"Oh no, it's nothing..."

“Anyways. Eat some food, you have visitors.”

‘Visitors…?’ Xy thought.

“Yes, they are all waiting for you at Ryushi’s house.” Tezuka replied.

“By the way, did you bring that fancy sword here by yourself?” 

“What… Sword?” Xy said.

He followed Tezuka’s gaze, turned his head, and saw a long, beautifully carved pitch-black sword positioned against the wall, it had a dark red gem integrated into the guard.

Xy stared at it for a good little time, before Tezuka intervened.

“Hey, quit dozing off.” Tezuka said patting Xy’s shoulder.

“Oh, sorry. And yes, this is a sword I was… Given to when I was walking outside!”

“I see, well, be careful with it... I will be taking my leave, I will see you at Ryushi’s place.”

“Yes, sir.” Xy replied.
