Chapter 56: Chapter 56 Building a church to yourself

It turned out not to be very easy to climb a giant moving statue. The serpent part of the enormous statue was covered in rough stone scales that slithered against each other as the creature slowly advanced on the Heirs. Nathan leapt over the creature’s tail and landed on its back. He ran across the uneven footing, trusting his skills and excessive amounts of Stamina to keep him upright. The lessons learned from Stella’s impromptu Nathan-juggling bore fruit, allowing Nathan to skip across the rough surface even as it rotated and twisted beneath him.
