The surrounding area fell silent as the night grew deeper, while the starry night sky watched the scenery of the forest. Many of the forest's surviving inhabitants, the majority of which were Slugs, were resting after the brutal day that had occurred. Sentrowls could be seen flying around in the dark sky, looking for prey, but there was none because the island was nearly empty. Furthermore, Sentrowls disliked Slugs as food.

However, the silence and peace only lasted a few hours before countless rustling began to sound on the ground as the sun gradually rose in the sky.

Even though they had nearly eliminated all potential prey within the Red Island, the Peasants were not about to rest. Their marching sound echoed throughout the area, causing havoc in their path. A massive line of peasants formed in order to cross one of the rivers. Hunting inside the island was no longer viable due to the closing of the island's entrances and eventually wiping out all of the available prey.

A massive army of three thousand Peasants marched together in one line, led by bands of higher-level Peasants. They were carrying giant tree logs and tree branches in the middle of their formation, which they were apparently going to use to build barricades to cross the river. They were marching out of the infamous Death Canyon, aiming for the island's western boundary at the Metisaya Hell's Gate.

They did not rush, instead waiting until the sun rose in the sky to continue. They formed a massive formation that was visible from the sky. Groups of level 6 to 9 Peasants were closing and opening their mandibles in the front line of the massive army of level 1 to 5 Peasants.

However, the Peasants were not the only ones who took part in this battle. Three silhouettes emerged from the massive anthill, their massive bodies driving through the army they were about to lead. Their size was much greater than the Peasant army on their path, and their movements exuded a terrifying aura. It only took them a few seconds to reach the end of the formation, which was heading to the river, where a massive battle was about to take place.

Each of them possessed the capabilities of an entire army of peasants. Each of them was capable of slaughtering hundreds or even thousands of level 1 to 6 monsters while taking no damage from them.

They were thought to be among the elite of the Peasant evolution line hierarchy. They were regarded as far more important than the entire army they were about to command. The loss of thousands of level 1 to 6 peasants was not as severe as the loss of even one of these three species.

The familiar image walked forward, opening and closing its mandibles in front of the massive army in front of it, standing in the middle of the three.

The ferocious Militant was the strength variant of the Peasants' level 10 evolution line. The once frail Peasant transformed into a destructive wall of a powerhouse after evolving once. Weak attacks had no effect on this monster, and it could not even take damage from them.

Because of its Defense stat. Each point of Defense was worth 50 damage reduction, and any attack that did not exceed the damage value of a unit's Defense was completely null and void. It would make all attacks weaker or completely useless.

Each evolution, a unit would gain one point of defense.

It stood out like a red mountain in the crowd, measuring 64 centimeters from its massive mandibles, which fit its massive head, to its abdomen. Unlike the Peasants, the level 10 evolution lines had overcome their well-known weakness by having six eyes, two on the back of their heads and two on top of their heads. Totally eliminating their usual blind spots.

Other variants of the level 10 evolution line stood alongside the Militant.

The lethal Rampant was the agility variant of the Peasants' level 10 evolution line. The Rampant was smaller in size than the massive wall that was the Militant. With a length of 30 centimeters from its four sharp mandibles to its abdomen. Its color was also paler when compared to the other Peasant evolution line, making it difficult to notice when hiding. Rampant, like Militant, had six eyes, two of which were at the back of its head and two on top of its head. This was the fastest species.

It stands out from the crowd because of its bright red color, as if it were shining in the dim light of the rising sun. It was 40 centimeters long from its curb-shaped mandibles to its circular-shaped abdomen. The Peasant species capable of using destructive magic and launching long-range attacks. It wasn't as tough as Militant or as quick as Rampant, but its destructive ability was more than enough to make it a dangerous threat. In a large-scale battle, it was so dangerous that it had to be eliminated first.

These three were not the only level 10 evolved units in their colony; there were many more within the anthill. They could not, however, be deployed haphazardly due to their importance and scarcity.

Assuming they survive the process, it could take months for a single Peasant to reach the required level to evolve. Countless peasants had attempted but failed. Those who managed to evolve once or more were regarded as extremely valuable assets to the colony, and allowing even a few of them to die would be a huge waste.

As morning approached, the sun rose in the sky, lighting up the entire forest. The gentle wind blew west, as did the antennae of a massive army made up of thousands of peasants.

They were about to start a war.

The Militant, who was leading the entire force, including two of the Peasant colony's first evolution variants, raised its head for all to see. As the sun's rays touched its blood-red body, its massive image cast a shadow on the ground. Its massive pair of mandibles opened and closed while raising its head straight up in the air, giving everyone a visual signal.

The Militant lowered its head and marched toward the western part of Red Island. Walking with it was the only two who were on the same level in the colony's hierarchy. Behind them was a massive army of three thousand Peasants ranging in level from 1 to 9.

The captains of the Red Island's red knights had finally revealed themselves. They were marching toward the grueling battle that would take place at Metisaya Hell's Gate.

They were not, however, the only side that had prepared for this war. The gatekeepers of Metisaya Hell's Gate did as well. The water dwellers awaited their arrival... including the calamitous Warden of Hell's Gates.

The countless steps rumbled the ground, causing havoc on the Peasants' path. As a result, they began to attract attention, particularly from those patrolling from the sky.

Landed in the shade of a tree, where the marching army could be seen. The parade passed through Eon's gooey eyes. He had been looking for any opportunity since the sun rose from the sky, but had found none on this empty island, until he came across this massive group marching on the ground.

He waited for them to move for a few seconds before making his move. Eon growled before flapping his wings and flying up into the sky. He circled around the rally's formation, watching their every move.

Eon would participate. He would, however, take no sides.
